We almost didn't check this place out because of the three star rating but we're so glad we did! We were greeted by 3 different employees and all 3 were so kind. We ordered the chicken parm po boy, the crabby patti po'boy, fried green tomatoes, and the pepper Jack Mac and cheese bites. Absolutely delicious!

This is a good place for a fast sandwich. The homemade chips are delicious. The sandwiches are too big fir me to finish. Nothing elaborate. Just good value for the money and fast. Enjoy!

I thought I snapped a picture of my sandwich, but I guess I didn't. I got the fiesta chicken, no mayo, add ranch. It was VERY good. The bread is nice and soft. It had a ton of chicken and ham. That's all I got, but everyone else liked their food too. I'll go back if I'm in the area again.

Was on my way to New Orleans and stopped on this sandwich joint on the way there. She ordered the shrimp po boy and I ordered the cajun po boy. The cajun is a take on the philly cheese steak. It's filled with small cut bits of meat accompanied by olives, lettuce and a tomato. Sandwich failed to deliver. It was lacking meat. It needed double the amount of meat to even compare to a philly cheese steak. The shrimp po boy was more satisfying. It was fried but needed seasoning. Bread was a bit thicker than i would like it. Also harder to chew. Expected a softer bread. Wouldn't come back again. Place definately is a divey place and in the middle of the town.

I got the special of the day which was baked chicken with rice and gravy and two sides. They guy serving was super sweet to explain to me the ordering process and I had a great conversation with the woman in line before me who comes every week for the Wednesday special. For my sides, I chose the greens and mashed potatoes. Even though I got two starches, it was worth it because the mashed potatoes and gravy were worth having as a main dish! I loved the greens, too, especially since they had all the hot sauce and peppers and vinegar choices you could want. The chicken was fork tender and I left nothing on the plate. I love that they provide each guest a little wrapped package of cornbread and iced cake of the day, too. I will definitely be stopping at Pamela's any time I'm in town.

We both felt really heavy afterward, and my mom even felt sick after eating there. It was just basic diner food and a bit overpriced for something you can get almost anywhere else. However, the cake that comes with the cornbread was my favorite part. SERVICE: The service was fine. It had more of a cafeteria-style vibe, so there isn't much to say about it. AMBIANCE: The inside felt very run down. The bar wasn't even finished and didn't look like it was ever used. Overall, it had a very hole-in-the-wall feel.

Since it's Lent season, I expected a bit of a wait. I'm not big on hush puppies, so I swapped them for shrimp fried rice, and I'm glad I did! It was simple but packed with flavor and well seasoned. A nice surprise that paired perfectly with the platter. The fries were nothing special, but the coleslaw and tartar sauce tasted homemade, which gave the whole meal a comforting, small-town feel. It reminded me of those corner store seafood spots in New Orleans. I'd come back for another fried seafood platter!

I got the 7 Piece fish plate and my wife got a Fish/Shrimp Poboy. I got Cajun Fries and She got Onion Rings and we split each side so we had some of both. Their fish is real, farm raised, catfish. Not imported substitutes. It was crispy and delicious. My wife's poboy was perfectly dressed and, according to her, delicious. The onion rings I will be jonesing for now. So good! The guy at the window was super nice and helpful. This is the kind of place I'll remember. I hope to get a chance to come back when we're in the area. I only wish I had taken pictures.
