I love this place! The staff is very friendly and attentive! I've never had a bad experience with them. All my orders have been accurate and the food cooked to perfection. I've always gotten food to go. Mostly because the smell and ambiance in the restaurant is less than ideal to enjoy a meal. Not bad, I just prefer my home over their dining room. I went yesterday for national chicken sandwich day. I got a spicy chicken and a bacon and cheese spicy chicken. Both cooked well. Good amount of condiments but I add more at home. They have an app with rewards that makes me feel like I'm getting a good deal and more value for my dollar. I'll be going back today after filling out the survey on my receipt for a free 2 piece and biscuit with purchase of a drink. Get the sweet tea! read more

The young lady at the cash register was super nice and attentive. I came during lunch rush and it was crowded but I got my food quickly and everything was hot and delicious. I ordered a two piece white meat dinner with a strawberry lemonade. I wish I could remember her name, I'll make sure I look next time I go because her customer service was really good. Service is great. Crunchy and hot (not lukewarm or cold) Popeyes' chicken and the sides are tasty and hot.

Get the spicy with cajun rice. Ask nice, and they'll add gravy to the rice. Delicious!

If I could give 0 stars I would I order my food 8 pm on Fiday august 11,2023. Asked to be ready at 8:45 due to the fact I was 45Mins away from the restaurant, I ordered a kids meals with the nuggets and didnt recieve my son toy to tip it off my son nuggets was cold.no fries.I go to the resturant tell the girl that's what she was to me she Looks at her watch and say well its 9:13pm yes it is i got here at 8:43pm my food should be hot if i say 8:45pm pick-up. And I stay 1 block away.she gone say oh well fries dont come with kids meal apple sauce does no drink or toy. thats the 3rd time they really need to up grade their team at night older managment at night is needed my food should have not been cold when i asked to be ready at 8:45pm. I avoided Popeyes like the Black Plague for years...Then I found THIS location! The staff here are absolutely incredible - talk about hard work and determination. Total opposite of the typical "Popeyes experience". I've come here dozens of times now - every single time is great service, fast, and the staff are respectful - a breath of fresh air! Love Popeyes, though it doesn't always love me. I miss the seafood platter of shrimp and fish. Sometimes I can convince the staff here to make it for me, but not always and never at other locations. I frequently get the shrimp or popcorn shrimp, but do sometimes like the spicy chicken with mashed potatoes and their yummy biscuits. Also, their cinnamon apple pie is good. The food is good, all fried which is why I need to limit myself. Hard being right around the corner, but its a quick meal when I need it. Good place to go in a pinch. read more

Generally, in a Popeyes, you sit around and watch while 4 or 5 employees stand in the back and do nothing while you wait ten minutes for your chicken. At this Popeyes, you sit around and watch 2 or 3 employees stand in the back and do nothing, and you only have to wait five minutes for your chicken. I'd call that progress, ladies and gentlemen. Over price shot one star out of the frame. for 2 person a few dollar less than $20, that pull you out, and go to Chilli near by. The best thing for this hole in the wall is super clean, even in the kitchen, you don't see white spot of flour on the work station, soda station no sticky syrup, love this. I love fried chicken. I love it so much I can eat it almost every day. I've eaten at this Popeye's so many times because it's close to the office and so delicious. Walking in the front door isn't too pleasant because the dumpster and the oil/grease container is right there leaving a rank stench before you chow down but whatever, I'm a trooper. If I wanted to smell flowers, I'd go to the damn garden. I came to get my fried chicken on! The spicy chicken is where it's at. Don't be fooled by the exterior appearance of the building and how it's hidden behind a bunch of apartments. This is the cleanest Popeyes location I've ever been to. The bathrooms were also spotless believe it or not. I also had no problems with my order. Although I did have to ask for ketchup which should've been at my disposal but it was no big deal. read more

I walked here from my hotel and had the most amazing spicy chicken meal ever! It was soooo delicious. I don't even care for fried chicken that much and I ate it all. This place isn't sketchy at all. It's in the back of the sheraton and the westin and a business building...popeye's are known to be in sketchy neighborhoods. It has that "regular people" feel which I appreciate being a Baltimore girl which is why some ppl probably thought it was sketchy. I came here around lunch time and it was primarily blue collar patrons probably because there are not really any affordable options in reston. Service was lovely. This used to be the place to go for fried chicken. Been going here for several years. But here in the past several months, the chicken is greasy and the side of mashed potatoes is sad! Meaning a spoon full and a tiny bit of gravy. My order was messed up twice and finally I said something and asked to have my meal comped and was still charged. Also felt like the guy was penalizing me for asking that the meal be comped because Ok my last order being wrong, so he gave my a spoon full of potatoes and a teaspoon of gravy. How sad is that! I'm going to start saying something while there to look at the order before paying. The resultant is clean and the staff is nice, but come on guys, change out your grease and start treating your customer better or you guys will end up on the unemployment list. read more

I've ordered delivery here 3 times in the past month. Every order has been wrong. Every time I order large or medium drinks and only receive smalls. I only get a small fry when I order a large. When I called to try and get it sorted they wanted me to come in so they could give me the large fry. Nothing was done to try to refund or accommodate. I even contacted their online support, they offered a refund and then went AWOL. I wouldn't recommend ordering from here or they will mess up your order and then it's your problem to try to fix and it doesn't go anywhere anyways, through the store or through corporate. read more

My step daughter and I came here an hour before close on Monday. The food was great and so was the service. The reason they get one star is because, while cleaning the employees used very inappropriate language. They spoke in Spanish, and as all young kids, my daughter knew exactly what they were saying. I spoke to the cashier about it and told him to please have the staff watch their language, but nothing changed. They continued. Chicken was cold. Same problem with the store on Centerville Rd. I went to both places back to back in search of acceptable chicken and didnt find it at either place. When I asked how long the chicken had been out, they said 15 minutes. There's no way that the center got as cold as it did in 15 minutes. The outside was acceptable and the center was room temperature. Disgusting. In contrast, we also ordered chicken nuggets which they had us wait 4 minutes for - they made them fresh so I know for a fact that my senses arent off. It seems to be their standard procedure to refry their regular chicken and let it sit under the heat lamp and serve it cold in the middle and hot on the outside. read more

I really appreciate the friendly staff who have been here for several years. My usual is the shrimp with their Cajun rice side. Most folks are here for the chicken and I always see regulars who must eat here weekly or even more often. The shrimp is almost always fresh cooked and tasty good,, never overly greasy.. The biscuit is also fresh. The cajun "dirty" rice is as good as ever. There is adjacent parking but no drive thru. If you are not a local, there is a SevenEleven ( 7-Eleven) convenience store just across the parking lot. Friendly service, outstanding cleanliness, and the best food that a fast food place can serve. ... Fast food just doesn't get any better, imo. read more
