I came in for lunch with a colleague who highly recommended this spot. If I'm being honest, when he said get the chicken fingers, I was expecting chicken tenders... I am glad that I was wrong. I had the 3 chicken fingers with curly fries, and asked for a hot sauce and ranch to go with it. Each chicken finger was enormous! I ended up only eating one and maybe a third of another while I was there and took the rest home. The chicken was juicy and the breaded part was really good. The fries were perfectly made because I love crispy but soft on the inside fries. Service was great, food came out pretty quickly, and the prices are reasonable. So I drove to this shopping plaza because I wanted and had every intention of getting Jersey Mike's but then became curious about the Buffalo Wing Factory after seeing it as soon as I entered the parking lot and decided to give them a try. I searched their menu and saw that they have BATTERED chicken tenders (bc those are really hard to find and a favorite of mine) and COOL RANCH mozzarella sticks and I needed to look no further on what I was ordering because those two were it. I placed the order for carry out and it took about 15 -20 minutes for it to be ready. The employees were awesome as there was someone ahead of me in line and another employee came up to me so I wouldn't have to wait. The order was ready for me and it smelled amazing (yes I could smell it through the bag lol). I tried a cool ranch mozzarella stick in the car and it had just the right amount of cool ranch seasoning and was pretty yummy overall. My hopes for the battered tenders were high because of how good the mozzarella sticks were in addition to just how dang good the tenders looked .... SIGH , but I was let down: while the tenders were HUGE and all chicken breast ... they absolutely lacked flavor and I'm talking about they needed the basics such as salt. Dipping them in ranch made them better, however, they were unfortunately still mediocre at best. The inside of the restaurant had a large bar with lots of tvs so there's a possibility I may come back to give the bone in wings a try while sitting at the bar with a beer and watching sports, but we will see. read more

BWF definitely fulfilled my wing craving! We started with the loaded crinkle fries and each got 10 wings. The waitress offered to split the sauces for our orders which was nice. I really enjoyed the spicy honey mustard but would not get the spicy honey bbq again. Fire hour is a great deal. The pizzas are fantastic and the sandwiches are solid. One piece of advice is to not put the extra crispy batter on the cauliflower bites. Most people don't order those to get a heartclogging bowl of breading. Service is friendly and quick. Good place to watch a game (or The Olympics) for sure. read more

Went there to watch a UVA basketball game and discovered they did not subscribe to the ACC Network. With about 20 TVs and UVA and VaTech both being in the ACC, you'd think they would pay for the channel. I'm sure they would attract enough business that it would pay for itself. We had a Friday date night at Buffalo Wing Factory. They recently redid the inside of the restaurant, which looks nice! Don't be deterred though from the minimal curb appeal outside. We ordered four different types of wings. The Sweet Firecracker and Spicy Ranch traditional were EXCELLENT. Great flavors, wings were big, and lots of sauce. We also ordered teriyaki and honey barbecue boneless wings. They were small and slightly overcooked with a LOT of breading. Our server was friendly and checked in on us regularly. This was my first time eating at Buffalo wing factory since I usually go to wingstop for my wings. The service was was amazing! The servers and manager seem to all have a great casual vibe going on. My girl Alexandra (based on the receipt, but she is a young, slender black woman) HOOKED US UP! I had no idea what flavor to get for wings and what type of apps to get since we didn't want to get to full on apps. She recommended the following and let me tell you, you can't go wrong: small Nachos Bourbon Curly fries wing flavors Spicy Parm Garlic, Sweet firecracker, lemon pepper and Spicy Ranch fried oreos My hubby and I enjoyed all of them but our top is firecracker and Spicy parm. Don't skip the oreos! Also the beer selection was nice along with their happy hour specials. The Narragansett is a great lager! I'm feeling like some heat. My beer arrives and I order 5 peruvian verde and 5 sweet and smoky BBQ. The beer is gone now and I order another. Service has seriously improved. Everyone is easy to chat with and nice. My wings arrive and I dig in. The peruvian verde are ok, BBQ ones are tip top. The second beer arrives (right on time). Spicy and sweet BBQ fit the craving. I'm finished and out the door. The only complaint is the floor throughout. Sticky like glue. Check it out for some good wings and fresh brews. read more

I have been going to BWF for over 20 years(ashburn location) and I have always had such a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Not a single thing to complain about over all these years. However, I ordered delivery from the RESTON location recently....BIGGEST MISTAKE!!!!!! Not only will I never order delivery from them again, but I will make sure to let my friends and family know about my horrific experience. After I placed my order online, it was immediately accepted by the restaurant and they "began preparing my food" as the app would say. About 60 seconds later I realized that I made a mistake on one of my sauce choices and called BWF to switch it out. (Mind you this sauce was an add on sauce and one I had already paid for.) The girl who answered the phone immediately told me there was nothing she could do about it and that I was shit out of luck. I reiterated to her I had already paid for the sauce (I wanted Ranch) and was just asking for a change, not an add on. She then began to argue with me about how inconvenient this was for her and her team and that she's just simply unable to do anything about this and proceeds to hang up on me. (Keep in mind it's only been about 4 MAYYYYBE 5 minutes total since my order has been placed). So I called back. I got the same girl on the phone as before and asked her this time if I was able to start a new order and just pay the whopping $2 to order another Ranch sauce. She proceeded to tell me I wasn't able to do that either. I asked her why and she immediately placed me on hold without answering me. I held for about 3 minutes and the Manager came on the line "Hi! No one is going or able to help you because your orders already been picked up! Thanks!" I knew for a fact my order hadn't been picked up. It had only been a few minutes since they started cooking!!!! I called my delivery driver to make sure it hadn't been picked up and he confirmed that he hadn't even arrived to the restaurant but would let me know when he had it. (He ended up having to wait there because once he'd arrived about 10 minutes after I got off the phone with BWF, my order still wasn't ready.) After the delivery driver confirmed it was still there and being prepared, I tried one more time calling to ask them to switch out my sauce to Ranch instead. I also informed them that I was aware my driver didn't have my meal in his possession.The girl from BWF sort of chuckled and said "yeah ok whatever we'll take care of it!" and proceeded to hang up again. So I gave up. My order arrives and I'm so excited:) Low and behold, not only did they not honor my request to trade the sauce but had switched out every sauce I ordered with blue cheese. I received one tiny ramekin of Ranch that was barely filled 1/4 of the way. Guess you got the last laugh BWF! Not only was this extraordinarily spiteful to do, but it's also immature and quite frankly it's unbelievable. ALL OF THIS OVER A SINGLE RAMEKIN OF RANCH SAUCE ... THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR!!!!! I am not sure why this employee and manager felt the need to take it as far as they did. But word to the wise, DO NOT GO THERE. If that's what they did to my food over sauce, I wouldn't dare wonder what they would do if the "inconvenience" was any greater than that. read more

My first time here since the renovation that removed the jukebox and videogames. I come here for the amazing sauces. The boneless wings are the best bang for your buck when not doing all-you-can-eat. A ten-wing serving is split into two five-wing baskets, each of which can have unique sauces. When you order all-you-can-eat, you can even swap out boneless for traditional and can select different wing sauces for each five-wing basket. If you're going to try lots of sauces on all-you-can-eat I recommend traditional wings since there's less meat and more sauce. The all-you-can-eat is far more expensive than I thought. If ordering boneless wings, two servings (twenty pieces) is cheaper than all-you-can-eat and is more than enough food. The break-even point with all-you-can-eat is three servings (a total of thirty wings in six baskets). Unless you are really hungry, get the traditional wings. Each serving is two five-wing baskets. The traditional wings are much larger than most other stores and the boneless wings, A.K.A "tenders," are massive. Alcohol is less expensive than most in this area and the signature cocktails are excellent. read more

I am not one to write reviews, but I owe this place one. As a neighbor, I am a default regular. You might even call me furniture since you can expect I'll sit in the same spot every time - if my chair is available. I have been coming here for several years. To start, a disclaimer: There have been times I chose to come less frequently & went elsewhere for better service, food, prices, whatever. But, I'd always pop back in every few months, mostly because it is the only real option in walking distance. Now, I pop in a few times a week! Here's why: 1. Renovations aside, the service has greatly improved. I usually sit in the bar area. While none are bad (anymore), my favorite bartender is Austin. He is pleasantly conversational. Down to earth & relatable, he offers more than small talk without being too much - which is a hard balance to find, especially around this area. Recently, he's even offered to hold my newborn so I could eat my tacos with both hands! A true class act. 2. If the kitchen makes any kind of mistake, then they will go the extra mile to make it right. For example, I recently ordered nachos with queso on the side. The queso came on top. The server alerted me of the mistake immediately, rather than waiting for me to say something. While they prepared the correct order, they let me enjoy the first one and then sent me home with a second one, with the queso on the side. :) 3. Yes, prices have increased, but that's everywhere. While I still try to avoid paying full price, I sometimes splurge for a full order of wings because they are simply much better and meatier than other places. However, I usually stick to the specials. Now that they have $1 wing Wednesdays, I will wait until Wednesdays to order my wings. There are very few times when there aren't any specials. I rarely can make it for Fire Hour (2-4 weekdays), but those prices are truly unbeatable. The Happy Hour prices are also great deals, and there are many delicous options. Even though one of my faves is not on the menu anymore, they're still more than happy to make me the retired pair of Buffalo Chix Tacos (or the beef counterpart) upon request. Try it! Thank me later. 4.  They cook to order, so there is a wait time but nothing unrealistic for FRESH food. I highly encourage folks to try to dine in so they can eat the food immediately. I personally would not use Doordash or the like for ordering wings, because wings are not the same after sitting 15-20 minutes. That is true of anywhere, but I include it as some of the negative reviews are clearly "user error" to me rather than subpar service. read more

I'm giving 1 star for the one time this place was good. I ordered take out for NYE and it was amazing. As a vegan I was excited to get cauliflower "wings" from somewhere so close by. That first order...was incredible! The right amount of sauce, fries salted perfectly! I have ordered from here multiple times since hoping to catch that one good time again. It just gets worse and worse every time. We ordered food today for super bowl...the food was actually disgusting!!! First off the fried cauliflower is like the smallest little bits off a cauliflower...what a rip off, especially for the price. They also barely had any sauce on them, like one box actually had a squirt of sauce and that's it. The fries are soggy and have no salt. My parents eat meat and had the chicken wings, they said they were so dry they couldn't even eat them. We wasted so much money here tonight...never again! My advice is to go somewhere else! I'd rather drive all the way to Buffalo Wild Wings and just ask for extra sauce. This place is terrible. Oh and the second time I ordered, the girl in the front had to be the most rude staff I've encountered since moving to Reston 2 years ago. Two and a half stars. Coworker treated me to happy hour. Daily special ahoy! Loved the bartender, but the buffalo bites were weirdly mushy, and the wing drummies a tad overdone. Spicy lemon pepper saucing was okay, if a little liberal to hide the toughness. Magic hats and a "meh" black magic (oh ye guinness b&t, the things I try when my good friend blue moon isn't around) kept me happy enough to enjoy the hockey game on widescreen high def. Bathroom pleasantly clean, though the Starbucks in that grocery store down the way needs to be open later! 4/28 update: They stopped carrying the two Starr Hill brews, so Shock Top is quickly becoming my light go-to beer here, when Magic Hat's feeling like a bit much. Good place to watch the Caps play, they turn down the music and turn up the tv. The new east cowboy flavor is pretty mild but not terrible to the taste buds. read more
