This Popeyes is in a shopping mall. It is in a standalone building. We ordered the 5-Piece Chicken Tenders Platter ($16.49). A combo has one side and a medium drink while a platter has two sides and a large drink. The chicken comes in non-spicy and spicy; we chose spicy. For the sides, we ordered Cole Slaw and Fries. It comes with 2 containers of dipping sauce and was told I could only choose one flavour, so I chose Buttery Ranch. The chicken was juicy and tender. I consider the spiciness level to be mid-spicy. They are known for their biscuit and I wasn't disappointed. It seems you can refill the drink using their self-serve soft drink machine. My mom doesn't like fast food but she loved Popeyes so much we came back two days later. Between the 2 days, we tried Mary Brown's for the first time ordering similar items; the chicken wasn't as good and the coleslaw was half the size. On our second visit, we ordered the 5-Piece Chicken Tenders Combo ($14.49), chosing only one side, the Coleslaw (which my mom loved). We found the Combo filling enough without having to buy a Platter. This time they let me choose 2 flavours for the dipping sauce; I chose Buttery Ranch and BBQ. I didn't like the BBQ for chicken tenders. One thing I noticed. For the 5 pieces, they put the buscuit and fries into a box and filled the rest with chicken tenders, so we got 6 pieces. When we bought the 5 pieces again without Fries, they put the biscuits into a box and put 7 pieces! Either this was generous of them or they put extra in it because we raved how good their tenders were so we came back. The restaurant is clean and service is courteous. With indoor seating, there are tables and booths, there is one semi-circular tables with 6 electric outlets. There is outdoor seating plus separate outdoor WiFi signal! There is medium-loud pop music playing in the background. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible but the outdoor door button doesn't work when I was there. We grabbed a three piece combo on our way to the movies and I have to tell you, it was burned and dry beyond any bad cooking I've ever done to chicken. There was barely any meat to eat. It was all crunchy, burned skin and old hard meat. Today, I have a sore stomach..and this is the second time in a year of the two times I purchased Popeyes. It's not the same Popeyes as it started out to be. So, while their chicken is fine DONT bother with the shrimp. Went into this location on a Friday afternoon to pick up a couple of Fish Sandwiches. Decided to order a side of the popcorn shrimp. Got my order and went home. Once I opened the "box" of popcorn shrimp I couldn't believe it.1- this order size is $6.99 reg 2-90% was deep fried breading, not shrimp. 3-if there were 8 shrimp in total that would be a lot. So, because of this I contacted their customer service by email. It took them over two weeks to finally get back to me. They asked for some details, which I gave them. They said they would get back to me. After 6 emails back and forth they said they would look into it. That's it. No, we are so sorry. No, what can we do to rectify this situation. Nothing. I have been to this location twice, and both times I have had an order issue. Will never go back. As for their corporate customer service, they have dropped the ball, big time. I've had a desire to try their new chicken sandwich, because fellow workers, in the states, say they're amazing. I also got a three piece meal. The Thursday special. My trip from the Falls was a waste. The Chicken leg smelled off. The batter was soggy from being cooked in oil that was old and not hot enough. The place was clean.... There is something about the tender chicken, juxtaposed with crunchy coating and warm biscuits that just warms my heart and hardens my arteries. They make great chicken and biscuits that just call my name with a siren song. However, there are some locations that could do with extra staff and better organization! I dropped by this location with a friend on Friday February 22, 2013 at around 5:11 pm. It was just before the dinner rush - I got the nine piece nugget combo, and my friend ordered ahead of me. The first sign that this place wasn't well organized was the lack of an organized line up - people who had ordered were standing around and mingling with people who needed to order. (It was confusing - hello, managers, we learned to line up in kindergarten - do we need a refresher course?) My friend paid, got her order and found a seat and a table. I had ordered after her, and was waiting patiently for my order. Suddenly, the damn dinner rush appeared, and there were a rush of people ordering family sized meals and a ton of take-out. It was chaos incarnate. There was a lady who had ordered ahead of me, and her food was being prepped, and she also got my order. I didn't realize this until one of the staff motioned me over, and asked me to clarify what was on my order. I waited 45 minutes for my order to be finally fulfilled, and I was furious. I only got an apology and an excuse about high traffic that day. The food? - chicken nuggets were piping hot and the batter was still crunchy - the two sauces were kept cold and nice - the cajun fries were lukewarm and not crunchy - the biscuit was flaky and up to standards I will probably not be returning to this location, even though the siren song of biscuits and chicken might just call me back! read more

We ordered 2 orders of 2pcs chicken platter (mashed potato, etc.) and a separate order of fries around 9:50pm, we waited around 10-15 minutes so I came up and asked for our order and told us our order didn't show up on their system. And then they told us mashed potatoes are all gone (people who ordered after us are already done and basically we're the one who remains). And then they told us that there's no more "mild" chicken and we have to wait another 8 minutes for it, so we did. Then I saw that fries are all gone and they had to make a new one, making us wait again. We waited for a total of 40 minutes (10:30pm) and didn't receive any apologies or any compensation. It has to honestly be the cleanest restaurant in the 905. It's always delicious and fresh everytime even if it sits under that warm heat lamp you can just ask to get it fresh so why complain about your food not being very hot. I notice a lot of people coming in and complain although they do there very best at this popeyes and I am a regular customer ever since it opened and will continue to go here everytime! I love their chicken and biscuits. Best part is free refill for soft drinks. I like their hot sauce too. And poutine is also v delicious. Chicken on the bone, was actually rancid! Yes really, it had that past due taste and it was also 90 seconds undercooked. Also tried the breaded hot chicken strips - not good. They were soggy and the hot sauce was very vinegary. Fries were greasy but otherwise tasty and crisp. The side dishes are bland. The rice is just awful, undercooked, plain, dry and tasteless. Best thing here is the free refill soft drinks. And why are the bathroom doors locked and the free wifi protected?? Not very friendly. read more
