    Buffalo chicken egg rolls

Bleigh Street never misses... stopped by for their Tuesday special of an app and sandwich for $22. So good!! Got Buffalo chicken egg rolls and drunken parmy. 10/10

We've been going here just about every week for the last 5 weeks or so. Food is excellent, comes out hot and exactly as ordered. Staff are all friendly, helpful, and attentive. We met the owner last week -- he's super nice, genuinely cares that you leave happy and satisfied, and truly appreciates your patronage. We're making our way through the menu and everything has been amazing. Their plain fries are some of the best we've ever had -- natural cut, cooked to perfection, crispy outside, tender inside, and screaming hot! Today we tried the Bleigh Street fries (unique seasoning and comes with 2 sides of Cooper sharp cheese sauce) and they were so good! Here's a list of what we've tried so far (in addition to the fries): * Cheesesteak Mozz Stix (they're huge and come with sides of spicy ketchup and caramelized onion aioli) * Boneless Chicken Bites (chunks of crispy chicken cutlet tossed in your choice of 10 different wing sauces -- the Hot Honey Cajun is fantastic -- and come a side of bleu cheese dressing) * Double Bacon Smash Burger (yum!) * July's special PB&J Burger (sounds crazy but it was crazy good!) * Cheesesteak with Cooper and fried onions (one of the best!) * Chicken Cheesesteak with Cooper (finely chopped, just how we like it -- not the huge chunks some places do) * Honey Money Wrap (OMG it is absolutely amazing!) * Alfredo Cutlet (possibly my new favorite) If you haven't visited Bleigh Street on York, you are missing out and you need to rectify that ASAP. You'll be planning your next visit before you even leave!

It reminds me of the good ol' days when businesses/business owners knew the names of their customers. They know their customers' names! On Sunday, I was leading out a meeting in the gymnasium at Huntingdon Valley Christian Academy and needed to provide lunch. I let New Village know ahead of time the big order we would need and once again they delivered. We picked up 10 hot, delicious, and fresh giant pizzas for our gathering and before I knew it there were a few slices left of the plain, a few more of the pineapple, but only one of the tomato pie! The people loved their lunch from New Village AND although of the10 pies ordered, 3 were (garden) vegetable, not one slice was left and people were upset that they didn't get any and that I didn't order more vegetable pizzas :) Many were amazed at how fresh and plump the vegetables were! The group got to taste firsthand what I believe, and that is New Village Pizza is the best in town!

I saw reviews for New Village Pizza and Grill and I said to myself there is no way that the pizza is this good. Of course, I had to find out for myself and see if those 4.7 stars was legit instead of living vicariously through the Yelp reviews and pictures. Ordering is pretty easy through their site and I went with a small mushroom, pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese pie along with some wings. Ok, the reviews were correct. The pizza was very good. Pizza is subjective and different flavors are preferred all over, but I think this will hit the spot for any pizza lovers. It was a nice buttery crust but not greasy and so glad there was an even amount of ingredients. At times you get way more of one ingredient than the rest and there is just an imbalance in the flavor like they have an overstock of one ingredient they need to get rid of. The wings were ok but wish they had a bit more kick in the buffalo sauce. When looking at the menu this place has it all. When I say all, I am talking about burgers, grinders (hoagies), pasta, seafood, quesadillas, chicken sandwiches, gyros, and I am sure if you ask for something not on the menu they can hook it up for you. If in the area again I will be partaking on another trip and stopping there again. A solid four stars.

Once inside, we were greeted right away and chose to sit at the bar to watch the game. The same person who greeted us also served as our waiter, and it seemed like he was handling the whole restaurant. Thankfully, it wasn't busy, so service still felt smooth. We ordered the wings, two meatballs, and the grilled chicken Caesar salad. The wings and meatballs were just okay, nothing bad, but nothing standout either. The grilled chicken Caesar salad, however, was amazing. The lettuce was crisp, the croutons were fresh, and the dressing was delicious. My only complaint is it could've used a bit more chicken for the portion size. Prices were reasonable, and they accept both cash and all major credit cards. The restaurant itself could use a bit of a refresh in some areas, but overall it was an okay experience. It's located in a shopping complex, so parking is easy and convenient.

We ordered a couple of types- Korean bbq and pickled something. The kids quickly noted that the pickled version wasn't saucy, tasted dry, and was flavorless compared to prior visits. They seemed to know their wings and the PJs standard to be aware something was off. I mentioned to the server and she indicated that corporate HQ changed the sauciness of the wings and they weren't that way anymore unless requested. The kids were taken back by this and noted it's the sauce that makes them good, and that these were dry and flavorless. I had to agree as a new customer to PJs that they were flavorless and comparable to a natural wing. We all thought the boneless Korean bbq wings were decent. The restaurant is nicely situated with a mix of tables and bar area with TVs scattered throughout showing sporting events. We visited on a Saturday so college football was displayed. We left confused and wondering if the change in wings was the new norm or a one-off. The server was nice and attentive to start but never came to ask us how the food was until we were nearly done and I volunteered concerns from the group. The kids agreed this wasn't typical service of PJs either.

Eatery looked like a lot of the hot chicken places around. Warminster painted in graffiti art on the wall and handful of tables to eat at. I went to the other kiosk and started my order since no one came to help him. I got my order in and went to pay and the credit card pin pad was not in a state to accept cards. I started to get frustrated maybe because I was starting to get hangry. The worker came out and I explained to him the machine was not taking my card. He rebooted it and offered to take my order at the main register. I gave him my order but had to repeat several times what I wanted which was a simple 2 mild chicken sliders with fries. I got home(2 mins away) and shared a slider with my daughter and the temperature of the chicken was not hot. We both thought the sandwich was okay. Maybe next time I will try the smash burger as I have read on other reviews were good.
