    Sweet popover

I stopped there for the first time and the food was great. I got the red chile popover with all the toppings and green chile popover and the sweet one with honey, powdered sugar and cinnamon. All of it was fresh and tasted fantastic. The service was really good the owner Bronson was cool and his assistant was cool too. The ambiance is on point for what we bought. The food truck was a decked out school bus I was digging it. I'll be back.

Honey was great..was what more amazing was the added touch of the extra bread

Wasn't sure about making the 30-minute drive but the thing about living in Tucson is 30 minute drive takes you somewhere truly unique. The green chile beef was flavorful with a nice kick, and the frybread was excellent..light, crispy, and not greasy at all. It felt different from the frybread you usually find at fairs or special events; this was done really well and tasted best eaten fresh. Portions were generous, and they even offered an extra frybread to try, which was a great surprise. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The location is easy to find in the Drexel Heights area, with plenty of parking and a covered seating area. Overall, a great spot with unique food and great people. I'd definitely come back.

We originally went for the Kung Pao, which they didn't have so we went straight to dessert and got a few frybreads. The hot honey ones were the best IMO but honestly all of them were delicious. They were soft and stretchy but not chewy, and fried to perfection. Will definitely be back to try some other stuff!!

    Mmmmm, good, try it.

The food was amazing. Christmas Taco was topped with fresh vegetables, well cooked meat and the topping of great Salsa. I will be going back again and again. Wonderful lunch or dinner choice. If you have not tried it, please go and enjoy as I did.

Had the combination red chili/bean fry bread taco. Lots of meat and the chili was smooth, not grainy with a slight heat. Great!

Had the combination red chili/bean fry bread taco. Lots of meat and the chili was smooth, not grainy with a slight heat. Also got fry bread with honey. Delicious with plenty of honey. Fry breads were large, plump and cooked perfect. Can't wait to go back.

Very Unique and tasty fusion food truck. We stopped by on the way to the San Xavier mission. I got the 2 Dragons. Which is their award winning signature dish. It is a delicious popover (fry bread) with 1/2 Red Chile beef and 1/2 Kung Pao chicken on the fry bread. It has a nice scoop of cilantro potato salad. I first tasted each item individually and was definitely delicious. The red Chile had nice flavorful mild spice and the Kung Pao was equally good. The potato salad had a nice cilantro flavor making it rememberable. But the big flavor is when you fold the popover and mix the meats. That is delicious!! It was unexpected and a definite winner.

We have been here twice in a few weeks because this is our new favorite Sushi restaurant…read more The restaurant is clean and has a simple style. The staff are very friendly. The amount of sushi you get compared to cost makes it very affordable. The plating is amazing as you can see in the photos. We opted for the combos which come with several pieces of sushi and some come with sashimi as well and rolls. The cuts of sushi were large and fresh. There was wasabi and ginger if you enjoy those. The rolls were creative and delicious. Our favorite was Ni Bistro roll followed by the Emerald. The sushi"wich" was very creative and looked like a sandwich. The Ni Bistro was full of flavor and had a lot of pieces. Overall, we highly recommend this new find on the Northwest side!

Fresh, wholesome sushi but lowest quality. Serving board really banged up chipping lacquered wood possibly harboring bacteria. No happy hour, no bentos. Menu has very diverse offerings but how could these all be good. Don't know. Sorry to write a bummer report. Just one person's opinion but I was a chef, restaurateur and FOH restaurant trainer. Try another place. I never gave a 1-star review.

****update*** Ume at…read moreCasino del Sol is a great spot for sushi and happy hour, but there are a few things to know before you go. First, if bar seating is available, I highly recommend taking it. Service tends to be much faster there, especially during busy times. The staff is friendly and works hard, but they often seem overwhelmed, which can make refills and table service a little slow at times. The happy hour specials are fantastic and offer excellent value. The drink selection is solid, with fair and moderately priced cocktails and beverages. If you order one thing, make it the spicy edamame--it's easily one of the standout items on the menu. As for the sushi, the fish tastes fresh and most of the rolls are delicious. The only item I would personally skip next time is anything topped with the tempura sauce, as I found it didn't complement the rolls very well. Beyond that, the sushi quality was excellent. One important tip: avoid arriving on concert or event nights unless you're prepared to wait. During busy events at Casino del Sol, wait times can stretch to two hours or more. Again, if you can grab a seat at the bar, you'll likely have a much better experience. Overall, Ume offers fresh sushi, great happy hour specials, friendly staff, and reasonable drink prices. Despite occasional service delays during peak times, it's definitely worth a visit.

Service here was ok Wasnt all that great, waiter and waitress just walking around and I guess just wait till u finish and clear your table. We arrived around 7:30 p.m., and the restaurant doesn't close until 9:30 p.m. Not even 20 minutes after we sat down, while there were still plenty of customers coming in and the restaurant was nearly full, the staff had already started removing food trays and weren't replacing them. It felt like they were shutting the buffet down long before closing time. To make matters worse, employees were mopping the floors around our feet while we were still eating, leaving the floors extremely slippery and making us feel rushed. The BBQ/sushi area closed at 8:30 p.m., and there were only three plates of dried-out sushi left. We never even got the chance to try the BBQ station they advertise. The desserts were dry and unappetizing, and overall the food was bland and lacked flavor. We spent $112 for dinner, plus a $20 tip because our server was attentive, friendly, and deserved it. The service from him was the only positive part of our visit. For the price, this experience was not worth it. I do not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.
