I love how this coffee shop was tucked into a hair salon! SO smart & convenient!! Also I love how they designed the place Very picture worthy for the girlies I came here for a midday pick-me-up and to catch up on some emails. If you're a girl looking for a spot to do your hair and wanna enjoy fresh coffee too - look no further!

This place is absolutely amazing! When you first walk in you are greeted at the check-in desk by the very sweet girls in the front, once you've checked in you can get coffee at the coffee shop that is located inside of the salon! The coffee here is seriously so good. Don't even bother stopping by Starbucks on your way here. I got my hair done by Cena she did a cut color and style. Cena is so sweet and incredibly talented. She's also very good at explaining the process so you don't feel like you're being left in the dark. I love this salon so much if I could gush about it all day I would. I also really love that when you schedule online it shows you all of the Hairstylist and their specialties. I highly suggest checking this place out. You will not be disappointed!

This was one of the best experiences Ive ever had in a salon! My daughter and I both have extremely fine, thin hair. Kelsi is so professional and talented, she was able to take a thick hairstyle style picture we brought in for reference, that we loved and make it work for thin hair. We left feel so special and a new level of confidence. The salon is an esthetic dream, I wish we we were there when the coffee shop was open definitely recommending to all of my friends.

I was in need of a haircut and I found this place through instagram. Luckily, I was able to make an appointment for the next day. The aesthetic of Poppy Collective is so cute plus there is a coffee shop inside! The coffee shop is a nice space to catch up with friends or study. I ordered a matcha lemonade and it was good! Overall, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Assunta cut my hair and she did a fabulous job! She made sure I was happy during the whole process. Will definitely come back to get my hair cut here again!

Day after $350 Weft move up. I immediately walked back into the shop and was told she was too busy to see me!

Disaster at Poppy Collective! Arrived on time for my weft move up and color. Cena told me she had no time to do color. Told her I wanted the hidden method (which I've had before) but she said she doesn't do it anymore. (My guess was that she didn't want to do it as it takes longer.) Had t go back the next day for color and blow dry. After finishing, I went to my car and was shocked at the results after she and her assistant dried my hair quickly with a lot of pulling. One side looked perfect but the other side was a disaster. I walked back in but she wouldn't speak with me. The receptionist told to come back later that day. I explained I couldn't. (Recently learned I have terrible heart issues including blockage and AFIB that lasts 71/2 hours at a time so I'm supposed to stay away from stress!!! AHHHH!) Cena never called me to find out the problem. I guess I like old world hairdressers who care about their clients?!? So I reached out again and sent the pics below. She was going on VACA but suggested someone else would fix it. I texted that person who was busy. She also suggested an assistant but having paid $350, I wanted a hairdresser to fix the mess. So I waited and wrote Cena again when she came back. I wrote: I understand that for whatever reason you either don't like me, you don't like having older clients or something?? I have never had a hairdresser tell me I had to come back another day to have color? That is disrespectful but since you are the owner, I guess you get to do whatever you want. You wouldn't even walk up to the front desk and have a conversation with me after I went to my car and saw how the Weft looked after the blow dry. When I went to my car, I was shocked to see that after you and your assistant dried my hair, a huge chunk was just sticking out.  You said it looked normal?? Really?? I paid $350 for the move up which looks embarrassing and ridiculous. If you or your company does not want to fix it, I will find another company. Please tell me ASAP. I called XXXX and she was not interested in fixing this. Cena wrote: Good morning Allyn, I'm not sure where you are getting this information from, which none is true. I'm sorry that you couldn't get your hair looked at while I was on vacation. When you walked away from my station that day, I had another paying client in my chair, I asked the front desk to have you wait for me until I could come up there and speak with you. You left and never came back. I would have done the same with any client of mine. I would have been happy to fix it for you that same day. I received a text message two days later to fix it. At that point I was leaving town. I have you two options for hairdressers to fix it while I was gone. I would have been happy to take care of this for you but after this text message I feel insulted and disrespected, so I will not be offering any hair services to you and you will be not be allowed in my salon anymore . I wrote: Just so you know the accurate facts, the front desk did NOT tell me to wait. They told me to come back. I said I had another appointment and couldn't come back later. I asked if I could walk over and just speak with you. They said no. Other guests speak with you when I'm in the chair, so it was odd I couldn't speak with you nor did you ever call to make it right. When I wrote, you said to contact XXXX who couldn't do it. Now you feel too "disrespected" but I paid $350 for a job that needs redoing by a different salon who doesn't owe me the fix. When can I expect a refund?? Of course I agree, we are not a fit. Moments later I received an automatic CANCELLATION for my future appointment. Pretty unnecessary nasty behavior after a $350 incompetent job. PS The hairdresser I texted is a LOVELY person whom I would never fault for being busy with her own clients which is why I blocked out her name!

The café has a clean, modern aesthetic with plenty of natural light, comfortable seating, and a great playlist that makes it an easy place to hang out, catch up with a friend, or get some work done. We ordered a hot matcha latte with an extra shot of espresso and an iced vanilla matcha latte, and both were excellent. The matcha tasted fresh and smooth without being overly sweet or bitter. The extra shot of espresso in the hot matcha was a great addition, it added a nice boost while still letting the matcha flavor shine through. The iced vanilla matcha was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and not overly sugary. One detail I really appreciated was the beautiful coffee mugs they serve their hot drinks in. It's a small touch, but it makes the experience feel a little more special and cozy. Between the friendly vibe, good music, quality drinks, and inviting space, Vesta Coffee Roasters is definitely worth stopping by. Whether you're a coffee lover or a matcha fan, this is a great place to relax and enjoy a well made drink. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I actually did consider leaving my car at La Strega and walking over to Better Days, but it was just too hot and muggy to do so. I'm no stranger to Summerlin, with the occasional visit here and there, but I've never seen or heard of this place. This is a cute little hole in the wall coffee shop just off the 215 freeway at Town Center in Summerlin. They had their March menu on display in the very front, and my eye immediately caught their Lucky Charms Matcha Latte. I don't eat cereal at all, but I was interested in this drink and asked for the basics on it. This latte has made from scratch Irish cream syrup, your choice of milk, marshmallow cloud, and topped with Lucky Charms marshmallows, but without the crunchy cereal part. This drink tasted like and had the texture exactly like St. Patrick's Day. It was amazing! March is almost over, so catch this drink and all their other March drinks on hand when you still can. Their other March drink they have available is called Luck of the Irish Latte. It has similar ingredients to the Lucky Charms Matcha Latte, only it has espresso and no Lucky Charms marshmallows on top. If you're ever in Summerlin, come check out Better Days. Yes, they are a hidden gem, but they have great drinks, seasonal and year long.

I opted for a regular butter croissant, heated. I ordered an iced oat milk latte and croissant. The croissant was big and flakey. I heated mine but wouldn't the next time because it lost some of its crispiness. The coffee was rich and full-bodied. Definitely craft house and not a run of the mill latte. Tasty.

Tonight's theme was swing dancing, which kicked off with a beginner lesson at 6:15PM. The cover charge was a reasonable $15.50 per person and included a free drink from their selection of standard beverages. We went with the lemonade, which was served in an elegant champagne flute. It was decent, though it didn't taste freshly squeezed. The turnout was excellent--during the lesson, the place was packed shoulder-to-shoulder, with dancers filling every available inch of floor space. Afterward, a live jazz band took the stage and kept the energy high. The night was genuinely fun, with swing in the air and a lively, nostalgic atmosphere. It did get quite warm inside, but a couple of fans helped keep the air circulating. On regular nights, I understand Coffee Note shifts to a more relaxed open jazz jam session--perfect for sitting at a table with a drink and soaking in the sounds of America's musical past. The venue itself is a charming little coffee shop that feels ideal for reading, working, or enjoying quiet conversation with friends. We'll definitely be back for future events.
