Five stars isn't enough for this business. I have never met with a mechanic with better integrity and moral business practice than these truly good guys. I came to them the summer of 2022 off of a friend's recommendation when my engine blew in our family vehicle (luckily I purchased insurance). They replaced our engine and delt with our warranty company smoothly and had great follow-up. They did not try to take advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge and push extra needless additions to run the bill up. I left that experience happy I had found someone trustworthy to look after our family car. Then tragedy struck again this last summer, after a cross country trip the new engine malfunctioned and a rod broke and destroyed the new engine. It was more complicated this time, I was across the country had to go to the nearest garage Google could show me and the warranty on the 1 year replaced engine was loopholed out of existence by the shady practices of the company that supplied it. The Good Guy Garage quickly coordinated with the different garage and when it was discovered that the warranty could not be used, stepped up and covered the engine they replaced just 1 year before. Furthermore they helped me anytime I had a question about what the other garage was pressuring me to additionally pay for beyond what my warranty would cover and even called that garage on my behalf on a few of those extras especially when the other garage was trying to charge me for additional hours (4.5hrs @$130per!!). The Good Guys Garage did all this when there was no monetary compensation due to them because it was the right thing to do for a former client who had now moved out of State.
