Had 4 new tires installed on Saturday morning, was driving a couple of hours away later in the day. The tire pressure light went on, we began hearing a weird sound from the front driver side tire. The last ones to touch it was America's Tires, Simi Valley location. Went back on Tuesday and Michael took care of me. He was not very helpful and not very knowledgeable. He drove my vehicle, heard the noise it was making and lifted it up on a floor jack. There conclusion was wheel bearing or warped brake rotor. I asked again, why did this happen after getting new tires, I received a bunch of excuses. No effort, they could of removed the tire and took a look. Michael referred me to a nearby mechanic. Look, I've worked on cars most of my life. They did the bare minimum. I went home dissatisfied. I removed the two front tires looked everything over, decided to change sides to see if it was the bearings and rotor. The sound went away, not only that the tire pressure light stayed off after resetting it again. Going the extra mile sort of speak would have made you hero's, instead you have a dissatisfied customer and this bad review. Braaaap! Braaap!.. that wasn't a machine gun I heard, it was the sound of multiple Impact wrenches furiously taking off my wheels to do a literal PIT STOP tire change. My appointment was for 8:45, I got there at 8:35. Polite gent checked me in, I handed him the key. He said, about 45 minutes. As I went to the lil Boyz room, he said, no wait, It'll be 10. I said Ten??? He said yes. The team had 4 guys working on it, in tandem like a trained pit crew. Tires off, two on separate machines, two in the on deck circle ready to go. Bead set, off to the balancer, the other tires on the machine. I pulled into my driveway at 9:07. AMAZING. Make the appointment, earlier is better. These guys were phenomenal and that's why I keep buying tires here. 4 new Falkens later the car is driving quiet, smooth and safe. My husband went in looking to purchase tires but was unsure on costs and desired manufacturer. He also was pressed for time. We had gone to Costco and were told it would take DAYS for an order to come in. Then we spoke with Tyler at America's Tire... it was the most refreshing experience we have had in a long time. While driving home from Carpinteria, I decided to stop in Simi to get gas before heading home. As I slowed down, I heard that all too familiar "clink clink clink". A large bolt was stuck in my front tire. I called the nearest America's Tire, which was 5 minutes away. They close at 5pm, and it was 4:57 when I called. Despite it being closing time, they told me to come in. My tire was fixed within minutes and I was on my way. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and graciousness. I had a flat tire and was sent to American Tire for services and to fix my tire. AAA guaranteed that this is the best tire repair company ever, on the road anywhere. Here, Ashton the Manager welcome me with kindness and professionalism. So, I stated that one of my tire seems leaking and being a first-responder, I cannot be late at work nor experience a flat tire heading to all my destinations. Ashton promised to take care of me and will make sure that my tire will be in tiptop shape when I leave. True to his promise, my tire was fixed, and was in perfect shape and Jenni left. So I asked, how much do I owe you? His quick response was, "nothing!" I was perplexed, and hat do you mean? Sales associate scanned my tires with his handheld device then told me they were at a 1 and 2 (red zone) of their tread wear scale so they couldn't repair and I should replace. Left to do some research and went elsewhere - lucky for me. The other place told me the tires hadn't even reached the tread wear bar and I should just repair it. Took care of it no issue. This is the only place I'll go for tires or any tire-related issues. I went in yesterday, thinking I needed a new rear tire, but they were able to patch it up for free, which was awesome. The only downside is the wait time--if you don't have an appointment, it's usually about 1-2 hours. So, I'd definitely recommend calling ahead to schedule something. What I really appreciate is their transparency. They have a glass wall where you can see them working on your car, plus a monitor that shows what they're doing on their computer. In the past, knowing that they always give exceptional service I trusted that they would take care of me as they always do. I asked PK if he could please ask inside to fix my tire. Full disclosure-,I've been a loyal customer of this chain for over 25 years because they always take good care of me and my car and I can drive right in with a problem and they always have a solution. Today I had a low speed blowout on one of my tires and needed to be towed. I called them to confirm they had the right tires in stock so that when I arrived (thanks AAA and Swink's Towing), they were already halfway ready for me. I recently had my tires changed there. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. They typically have the size tires needed for my cars. And they typically give you a number of different options on manufacturers. Wait times are not too long if you get there early. I don't handle situations very well. Being a single woman I don't like having to deal with car issues. I must have hit a pot hole as my tire almost immediately went flat. My son came over and put my spare on. I had to be at work the next morning. I got to the tire shop about 20 minutes before they opened and an employee was walking in and told me that since I was the first one there he would make sure that I was taken care of the minute they opened. After determining that I needed a new tire and that it would have to be ordered for delivery that afternoon they put a loaner on so that I could get to work. It was the best service I've had in a very long time. I came back that afternoon and they put the new tire on in record time. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. My girlfriend and her family are frequent customers at this location of America's Tire. I've been itching to get new tires for awhile because my stock tires were starting to give out. I found a sweet deal at a different tire store where they were running a buy 3 get 1 free promo. I called America's Tire to ask about their price match policy and I was helped by Chris. Not only did they price match, they beat the price! Next, I made an appointment to come in that weekend for the purchase and install. I came in on Saturday morning around 10:30 for my appointment and there were already about 6 parties waiting for their tire instal. David, the rep there helped me and explained I did not have to wait at all since I made an appointment. The full set of tires were installed in about an hour as promised. David answered all my questions and went over the manufacture warranties as well as complimentary services from Americas Tire including air checks, tire rotation, rebalancing, and repairs.
