Ever roasted chiken pepper jack chipotle mayonnaise and avocado quality

Quality ever roasted chiken pepper jack avocado chipotle mayo delicious! Only in pops deli

a sandwich wrapped in tin foil

This is my bagel with cream cheese. Is this place on the verge of bankruptcy or something? WTF is this? Right in the garbage.

When you enter the Taconic Parkway you lose all sense of civilization. Only minutes outside the city all you can see are trees, raising the all important question "where can I get a sandwich around here?" Accidentally found Pop's deli by selecting a random exit and following the power lines to Hawthorne. Typical NY deli selection of foods. My sandwich was a well-built winner. A long line of hungry people quickly formed, but service was fast and accurate.

What makes Pops deli great is their customer service and being reasonably priced. A great deli if you're in the area.

I always get my usual muenster cheese on a roll with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles and it's always delicious!

This place has improved a bit...guess they just needed more people working there cause it gets busy and the wait time used to be horrible.

I think they're a lot better than the Hawthorne Station Deli.

I'm originally from CT but now live in CA, so I'm always dying for some delicious & authentic Italian food when I visit back home. This deli definitely did not disappoint! I opted for the Pizza sub - chicken cutlet, mozz, and pepperoni - on a hard roll. They asked if I wanted to add some sauce so of course I had to listen to the pro's suggestion! This sandwich was perfect. I was sufficiently full from half of it but I had to push myself over the edge and eat the whole thing because it was just good enough to do that. The guys working here are also so nice and funny; they had great personalities. They gave us paper plates and lots of napkins as we went to eat at one of their small tables outside, and even knocked on the window to see how we were enjoying our meal as we ate which I loved, lol. Sadly I not live around here, but if so I'd be a frequent patron! Besides all the tasty subs to choose from, they also have a variety of hot food and cold salads, as well as some fresh pasta and other Italian foods to buy and cook at home. Do not overlook this delicious deli!

The place looks great, and the food and customer service is on point as well. If you want a salad for lunch, this is the place to go. I bought a salad yesterday, and I ate 2 full servings from it, and get this, I still have two more servings to go before it's finished. The best part of it is that it's less than $10. For 9.36, you get a huge helping of one protein, and whatever other toppings you want. Unless, you plan to share this with someone, I recommend that you don't put dressing on it, so that you're able to eat it later. Panera won't be seeing me anymore for their high dollar salads. Knollwood deli all the way. Besides, I'd rather support local businesses in the area. I haven't tried any of the hot food, but I will update my post whenever that happens.

Prices are not cheap either. Why pay for rats, cats, and insects nibbling on the food they sell to you? There are so many other better places in the area: Pats Deli on Columbus Ave, Rose Hill deli (the best) on Columbus ave, the Sandwich Spot on Legion/Grasslands, and there are more places on route 9a Saw Mill River Road, such as Wendy's, Dunkin, IHOP Applebees, even ShopRite has great sandwiches, and locally there's even Panera and Dave's Hot Chicken. AVOID KNOLLWOOD DELI. DISGUSTING.
