I was so excited that my husband surprised us with a family date night, we had a blast here!!! We did the red course with our 12 & 13 year old and it was so fun and competitive. We laughed a ton. Super family friendly even late on Friday night. We will definitely grab dinner before we come next time.....the food was super bad. I knew we were in trouble when our nachos came with romaine lettuce on top and no cheese, yikes! We ordered queso and thankfully they brought us some but the chips were super hard and it was just not tasty. The wings were recommended we tried both and they were okay, super fatty. Salmon salad was probably the best as well as the chicken wrap. Good but basic. They had a full bar and brought drinks to were you were golfing, which was a good concept if it would have worked. Unfortunately, we ordered a beer and a soda on hole 3 and made it to hole 11 with no soda, although the beer came to hole 5 after we tracked her down. We had to walk across the whole course to go get our own drink at the entrance after I asked 2 different groups of employees to help when I saw they were just standing around talking to eachother. Came here with a group of 6 for some Bachelor party fun. It was great! staff was helpful and got us set up to play quickly. Cool thing is, the price of admission is for a full day, so you can play in the afternoon, leave, and come back and play later if you'd like... This place is prepared for the heat. There are mister fans at the beginning and ends of each hole and at every 3rd or 4th hole are huge coolers with ice cold wet towels to keep you cool. You can order drinks throughout the course, and the servers are pretty quick at bringing them out to you. After playing to two full courses my group decided to get a late lunch at the restaurant on site. Food was solid! I got the standard burger, which was juicy. No complaints from the rest of my group. We had fun at PopStroke! While admission is a little pricey, you do pay for unlimited play all day, so if you plan on hanging out for awhile and doing multiple play-throughs, it's not so bad. They have two courses you can try. One is supposed to be harder than the other but I couldn't tell a huge difference between them. We didn't eat here but they do have plenty of seating if you want to grab something to eat or drink, although I'm sure those prices add up too. You can order drinks anywhere on the course, there are coolers scattered throughout with cold towels, and you get to keep your golf ball. They serve food and drinks plus kid friendly for families. There is a mini jungle gym for the kiddos. We didn't partake in the food and bar service on the restaurant side. The staff was friendly but the counter did not provide enough instruction to set us up and the host for the courses was not present. A staff member walking by helped. After a long day of attending the Arizona Strong Beer Festival and having a nice rest back at the hotel, my boyfriend and I went back out to check out Popstroke, which is literally across the street from the hotel we stayed at. My parents ended up going off to do their own thing elsewhere. Because we went on a Saturday night and the fact that they just opened recently, it was super busy. We paid $40 per person for an all-day weeklong pass, so if we decided to come back, it would be free to get in. We decided to skip their beer/wine/cocktails because we spent most of the day sampling numerous 3 oz beers at the festival. They have three different courses - red, blue, black, and green (green is served as the warmup section). Once we started our round of mini golf, we did have to wait a while for our turn, but once we got halfway through the course though, the wait time became shorter and shorter. In all honesty, I think I played better than my boyfriend haha. We got compliments from the people in front of us a few times on our swings and shots. I did have a bit of a headache from being outside in the sun almost all day, so I was a little sensitive to the big, bright TVs on the golf course. We decided to stop halfway through at the 9th hole and grab some food. We had to turn in our club but we got to keep our golf ball. To use their menu, we had to download the PopStroke app and then scan their QR code. We could also order food and pay directly through their app, which was super convenient. I ordered their smash burger with fries and my boyfriend had their club sandwich with fries. Both of these were really delicious and it hit the spot! PopStroke has some really good food. Of course, we just HAD to try out their milkshakes. I had their s'mores up, which was topped with graham crackers, chocolate syrup, and marshmallows with vanilla ice cream and a graham cracker rim. My boyfriend had basically the same thing, but strawberry flavored. Both of these were excellent! He said that this was probably one of the best milkshakes he's ever had in his life. We are getting a PopStroke back home in Las Vegas very soon, so we can't wait to check them out again! read more

We were so excited to get the chance to go to a PopStroke since we live in Pittsburgh. It was such a fun night. It was clean, super fun, inventive, and gorgeous with cactus and large TVs. The atmosphere and feel was a 10/10, but the only thing is it is expensive! It is $35.00 a person. You can golf as much as you want, but after 18 holes we were hungry for dinner and left. In terms of activities, this is great place to go to for a fun day or night out. Two "mini" golf courses, ping pong, corn hole, and a play area for kids. A lot of TVs around for watching games and golf. Plenty of seating and a few different bars. However, in terms of food quality vs price it's lacking. Though the Buffalo Chicken Dip tastes good, for $13 the dip vs chip ratio is way off. It's not enough for more than two people. I've had the nachos here before and those were good and filling. Maybe only rely on snacks but I'll update this review next time and try an entree. However the staff that we conversed with were all nice and I like the convenience of ordering from the app. read more

Do I was so shocked how much I enjoyed this venue, even though I didn't have any interest in golf. The experience and family friendly atmosphere was surprising. It's a lot larger than I realized, from kid play areas and the ice cream shop, to family group sitting areas and games such as corn hole. We were there for an hour and a half and only got to play 6 holes. Once you start, there is additional waiting before each hole but not adequate room for people to be waiting. No shade or water on the course. We went and it was so hot we left at hole 15 before we got heat stroke. You can't order just water from the menu and there is ZERO shade on the course. They should have water available every few holes in AZ. I think this will be a ghost town in the summer unless they add a lot of shade with misters. We are first and service wasn't very good. We orders from the app and the food came, but no one brought water to the table or checked on us. It wasn't very crowded, but I imagine in the winter it will be two crowded on the course. They have a great bar/ dining area right in the middle of the two courses, perfect to stop and drab a bite and drink in between. Honestly a such a great idea for birthdays, date nights, office off sites. The place is designed so well, large bar, hangout areas and two 18 hole courses. Great that they have hosts running around taking drink orders on the course. I didn't try the food but it looked fantastic Only complaint was the wait times on the course. We were visiting our friends in Mesa and came from Huntington Beach , CA . It was already hot for this time of the year around 92 . We played one round till about 12 noon . We were going to get something to eat but one of us had a little too much heat so we went home . It was pretty crowded but it moved very good and the misters were really nice ( the ones that worked ) . we had lunch and dinner at home and since it is an all day pass we went back at 8:30PM . It was at least 15 degrees cooler and even more crowded . We played another 18 holes and it started slow but it opened up and we had a great time . I want one of these in Southern California . We are going to Texas next month and hope to take the grandkids to the one in Dallas . So fun !!! read more

Really fun place to hang out and spend the day. Multiple bar and seating locations to choose from, with views to the mini golf. Outdoor bar has large area with table tennis, cornhole, and fusball to keep you entertained for hours. Drink offerings were good. Food was all ok, but, nothing to really write home about. The mini golf was extremely fun, but, is pricey at $40 pp. Also, the crowd here on a Saturday was insane. First 4 holes had to wait at least 10 minutes a hole due to crowds and didn't enjoy it very much as there aren't clearly laid out areas to wait and people crowd into the edges of what is available. Cleared up a bit after that and had an enjoyable end of round. Would of loved to play the second course, they have 2x 18 hole courses, but, the crowds deterred us and made for minus one star. read more

They have misters and some shading from the trees but it's really not enough, hopefully they put out some kind of shading tarps during the hot months. It was busy during a weekday I dont even want to come on the weekend then. Its super pricey $38. It is an all day pass but we were so tired of waiting on the first course we didnt want to do another.
