Wow. The hype is real! Steady flow of people, the place stayed pretty full. I went with 2 plain, salt, sesame, everything, and a poppy. Super friendly and hardworking staff. My kids who had been here in the past both agreed that the salt was their favorite and that I had to eat one immediately in the car, so that was my first rip. These were literally fresh out of the oven so they were HOT HOT HOT! Once I was able to take my first rip, first bite was un-dipped and second plunged into my honey chipotle. I won't claim to be a bagel expert or snob but I know what I like and these were the best I've had in Jax and the surrounding areas. Great texture with the crusty exterior and chewy interior. Worth the trip and the wait. Count us in as BIG fans. Already looking forward to my next visit.

PopUp Bagels is a small minimalist shop serving up hot bagels and spread. The shop itself was high energy and very busy since they recently opened. The staff were friendly and explained the concept well. They pretty much just serve bagels fresh and hot, unsliced, with your choice of spread. I've tried their truffle specialty spread and the plain and onion spreads along with all their bagel offerings. The bagels themselves are smaller than your "average" bagel, but they are meant to be ripped and dipped in the spread while they're warm. The truffle cream cheese was very potent and I really enjoyed it with all the bagel flavors. The seeded bagels are generously coated so they can be a bit messy to eat but I appreciate the well covered bagels. Though I can respect simplicity in this world of overwhelming choices, their concept is a bit TOO minimal. With just 5 bagels varieties that don't change and the minimum order of 3, I feel like after a visit or 2 there's just not anymore novelty to the experience. Would love to see an Asiago bagel, onion, or maybe sweet option. Their everyday spread options are also just as limited with just plain, scallion, and butter. If you're not interested in their special spread then your options are extremely limited. Seems like the spread is already pre-packaged so it's not like the staff are scooping out each order so from a workflow perspective I don't think it would add too much strain. Overall I think PopUp Bagels is a nice addition to Town Center. The quality and friendliness are there but I think the rigid simplicity and lack of variety could hold it back. With a few more options in bagel flavors and spreads, they could keep the appeal for repeat customers while still staying true to its simple concept.

You already know I'm always chasing fresh bread energy and Pop Up Bagels is out here doing it RIGHT. These bagels, Made fresh on the spot and you can taste the difference immediately. Warm, chewy, that perfect golden exterior with that legit NY-style pull when you bite in. The Scallion Schmear was the real star for me though. Creamy, savory, packed with that bright onion flavor that hits every corner of the bagel. Simple combo done exactly how it should be. Now real talk. The wait was a little longer than I'd prefer. But that's the trade-off when everything is coming out fresh and hot. And I hate that they don't cut them on site and schmear them. But I digress. Would I make the trek again? It's a bit of a haul from my side of Jax. But if I'm anywhere nearby, I'm absolutely sliding back through for another round. Fresh bagels in the 904 always get my respect

Omg I fear all other bagels will now never live up to what a real bagel is supposed to be, I'm ruined forever! Lol Walking into Pop Up Bagel, new guy in town, I'd heard about it, wanting to try myself, how good could they really be!? I mean I try to limit carbs! Jonathan greeted me at the counter, super friendly and helpful, going over the menu, I decided on 3 with a shmear of scallion cream cheese( great recommendation) Yall, it was love at first bite! So bubbly crispy crust, super soft interior. Rip some off, swipe of cream cheese, I devoured a whole one in the car, couldn't even make it home! These were just delicious, the best bagels I've ever had, no grocery store bagel will ever live up to how good these were! Please don't ever leave so I can get these when ever I need my next fix! Xoxo! :)

Heard about this place from a friend. Had to try it. Service was very friendly and helpful. Considering we've never been there Tiny place. 1 table inside and 2 tables outside. The bagels are served HOT. I mean hot enough to have to wait for them to cool down. And they are super good. I had a everything bagel and candyce had a sesame seed one. Shared a sesame seed one. One thing you might need to bring is a plastic knife. They don't cut the bagels. Grip and rip and dunk in the schmear Definitely will be back

We stopped by the newest spot at 4852 Town Center Parkway (nestled between Mission BBQ + Domu) and it was bagel heaven Here's what makes it so special: 5 bagel flavors daily -- served HOT + fresh from the oven New batches coming out every 15 minutes Specialty schmears that rotate weekly (new drops every Thursday!) And their signature method: GRIP. RIP. DIP. (trust me... it's a whole experience ) The service was AMAZING -- every single staff member was so friendly, and we loved picking our bagels and enjoying them right in the shop Huge thanks to @yelpjax for treating us to this delicious bagel moment!

I had been wanting to try Pop Up Bagels, but the location in San Diego had way too long of a wait. My sister mentioned one had just opened and we decided to try it on my visit to Jacksonville. Our first visit was on a Saturday late morning. The line was too the door, but nothing too bad. They had three people taking orders so the line went fairly quickly. Unfortunately they were out of a few bagel types, so they said it would be about an 8 minute wait, which was no biggie. I'll gladly wait for hot, fresh food. We both ordered plain schmear to go with it. I ordered 2 salt and an everything bagel. My sister ordered some of the same as well as plain, hoping my picky son would try one. When our order was ready we were so pleased they put an extra bagel in each bag!!!! We got to the car and ripped into the bagels. OMG they were fantastic, the best bagel I have ever tasted. We took the rest home and put them in the air fryer to re-heat them the next day. They were just as good. The only issue is the salt kind of melts into the bagel, but I didn't mind, it was still nice and crisp with good flavor. My son finally decided to try the plain bagel and he was shocked by how much he enjoyed it. He was asking to get more and regretted not trying one fresh the day before. A few days later we decided to come back for some more bagels. The line was a little longer, but still moved quickly. This time we noticed no extra bagel and they were actually quite a bit smaller, so it is inconsistent in respect tot he bagel size. They were still served nice and hot. We also tried the gingerbread schmear and it was wonderful. My son made sure to get his own bag of plain bagels, and he devoured them. Overall I am very glad we tried out these bagels. Now if only the lines could die down back home so I don't have to wait too long.

Phenomenal experience and absolutely delicious bagels! I would say the best in Jacksonville, Florida. I am a bagel enthusiast and even attempted to make my own bagels once during Covid! They make their bagels fresh to order! They have an array of flavors along with different types of smears. I took a few of the bagels and shared with coworkers who also enjoyed them! They will be getting bulk orders from me in the future!

Simple walk up counter service where they offer delicious hot and fresh bagels served whole and meant to be torn and dipped in your choice of "schmear". You can slice and eat the traditional way but that is definitely not as fun. My only complaint is the simplicity of the bagel options. You have the choice of plain, salt, sesame, poppy, and everything. These options do not change however the flavors of schmears do. I did both the scallion cream cheese and the dessert butter... both excellent. The cream cheese is whipped and fluffy! The dessert butter a nice sweet treat. I'm certainly no bagel aficionado however these are definitely up there... crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside! Downfall is the limited menu options and that they are best enjoyed immediately so not necessarily recommended to take home to eat throughout the week though I'm sure you still could. The staff was very welcoming and gave a nice explanation of their concept. The space is very small but with a great fun design. There are only a couple table tops available for seating. Overall a nice experience and I do recommend for the bagel lovers out there.

It seemed busy but I was in and out very quickly. Freshest bagel I've ever tasted!

Here in Jacksonville, we don't really have a great bagel shop. That seems to be changing with Pop Up Bagels. I've never had a fresher bagel in my life. They literally just finished cooking and went straight in the bag, still warm. The smells in my car- let me tell you! It seemed busy in the small waiting area, but I was in and out very quickly. Probably under a minute or two. There are approximately 5 cream cheese flavors and bagels. My husband, his coworkers, and I loved these bagels. I ate mine in the car and it was fresh fresh! So good! They are on the pricier side: $22 for a 1/2 dozen and cream cheese. I'd also love to have the option to receive them sliced and have additional bagel flavor options like at least one sweet one (e.g., cinnamon raisin) and cheesy one.

OMGosh ... FINALLY, a bagel in FL worth promoting! Could not have been more gracious and welcoming - as soon as I opened the door. Explained their menu and variety. The EVERYTHING bagel was just that ... everything. Filled with flavor and smell. Top and bottom seasoned. Crispy on the outside and soft dough inside. The plain bagels are a tad darker on top than I like, but not burnt- so no impact to flavor. The scallion Schmear is whipped and delicious! Could eat on anything. They also have a dessert Schmear that changes weekly. Inside decor fun and Insta-worthy. My only complaint - more on me for not asking -- but my plain bagels were on the bottom of the bag and the everything bagels overpowered them with seasonings - I should have asked for separate bags. The drip coffee was ok ... but lots of other options nearby if you're interested for something more. Would definitely recommend.

We stopped by on our way to play golf nearby. The bagels were delicious and hot. They were also generously seasoned, which can be rare. The store had a cool ambiance. The price was very surprising. I posted a photo. Fortunately for me, the company was footing the bill, beacuse I dont think I could afford this place on my own dime.

What a fun place! What a fun place! I had never heard of this chain before. I don't like just any bagel. Now that I have a bagel shop near me that I like, I have stopped looking. My family and I are a bit of bagel snobs. But a friend talked me into going here since it is a bagel with a twist type of shop. I'm so glad I went... First, know there is a 3-bagel minimum, but it comes with your choice of cream cheese or butter included in the price. Also know that they don't have a plethora of flavors. They basically have a few choices of flavors, but it works for them. They come out piping hot and fresh! And instead of being cut, you dip them. Oh my goodness...they are so good! I mean, seriously...so good! If you are in the area, you have got to try these. Oh...and you can freeze them as well if you don't finish them. The prices seem a little high, but it's a treat, so what the heck?!?! The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and fun. The inside décor is cute and different...and there are photo opportunities! They sell store merch as well. There are a few indoor seats, but it seems most folks get their orders to go. There is plenty of parking at the strip mall where it is located. End note: I only have one wish...I wish they had garlic bagels! 3-bagel

And wow... what an incredible find. From the moment I opened the door, the team was absolutely amazing, so warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. I honestly couldn't believe it. We initially planned to order to-go because I had my tiny dog with me and never want to assume how places feel about pets. Not only were they completely gracious about it, they were so sweet to her and even gave her a little snack. That alone meant the world to me. The food? Outstanding. The bagel, lox, and cream cheese were incredibly delicious, you can truly taste that everything is made with care and love. And honestly, the name Bagel Love Deli could not be more accurate. These people are filled with love. I so enjoyed chatting with them, and their warmth made the entire experience unforgettable. I can't say enough good things about this place. If I could give more stars, I would, this is truly a five-plus-plus star spot. Thank you for welcoming us so kindly and for creating such a wonderful experience. Anytime we're in Jacksonville, we will absolutely be back.

It came stacked with golden roasted turkey and provolone, and I ordered it fully loaded (minus the onions). That meant lettuce, tomato, mayo, cherry pepper spread, oil, vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. And every single ingredient showed up doing its job. The balance of flavors was on point. Savory, tangy, a little kick from the cherry pepper spread, and just overall ridiculously satisfying. The turkey was tender and flavorful, the provolone melted in perfectly, and the way everything came together made this feel way more elevated than your typical deli sandwich. I honestly didn't realize Bagel Love was making sandwiches at this level, but now I definitely do. This is easily going into my regular breakfast and lunch rotation. If you're in the mood for a loaded, flavor-packed deli sandwich that actually delivers, Bagel Love Deli is absolutely worth stopping by.

But Jax Bread is probably the best you're going to get in Jacksonville. And it's excellent on its own merits. I ordered the lox bagel and it hit all the right notes: a perfectly chewy bagel, super fresh toppings, and the ideal cream cheese-to-bagel ratio (which matters more than people realize). Everything tasted fresh and was thoughtfully put together (more proper ratios). The service is always lovely, and I've genuinely never had anything here that wasn't delicious. This visit, I also grabbed the day-old mystery 3-pack of bagels so I could carb out a few more times this week. They're just as tasty, freeze beautifully, and at $2.99 it's an unbeatable deal.
