Bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel.

What can I say? Being from NJ, I feel I have an undeniable right to judge any place that boasts bagels from NYC. As far as bagels go, this place isn't the worst, but it's certainly not the best. Especially when you consider its slow service, it took 30 mins to get a bagel. Not to mention that their exhaust fan was broken, and the amount of smoke in the place had people crying. I really wanted to say I found a good bagel shop but this isn't it. You are better off not actually making the trip here and just ordering from Uber Eats to save your lungs and eyes.

This was such a great find! Extremely clean, with friendly, thoughtful service. There are a myriad of breakfast sandwiches and options--my bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast bagel was just about perfect. The bagels are also excellent, with plenty of varieties , and plenty of different cream cheese choices, as well. If you've been disappointed with some of the offerings of the chains, this should be a welcome (and superior) alternative l. This is an excellent breakfast spot, and we will be coming back quite soon.

Got there early afternoon and they were mostly out of everything. Ended up having bacon, egg and cheese on jalapeño Asiago bagel. It was good. Coffee was pretty good. Would come back.

1st visit with the new owners and I have to say I was impressed. The garlic bagel with Lox was fantastic. The garlic on the bagel wasn't overwhelming and the thick cut Lox was some of the best I've had. No surprise, it's shipped in from New York..... The owner also offered up a sample pork roll and it too was fantastic... .......GO EAT HERE......

An excellent (and only) fresh New York Bagel option in Jacksonville with excellent customer service! I recently attended the Grand Re-Opening of the Holey Moley Bagel Bar in Jacksonville. The shop has new owners and an entire shop make-over. The shop is very inviting, clean, and offers a comfortable seating area. One entire wall features a custom-painted mural while other walls exhibit local artwork. There is a neat coffee bar with numerous syrup selections to compliment locally-roasted coffee. There are also display cases with pastries and shelves full of fresh bagels ready to be selected. The Burch family has truly poured their hearts and souls into this fine shop. I ordered several items and was very pleased with each of them. I first tried the KB Special based on a recommendation from the cashier. One of their daily specials, the breakfast sandwich, featured bacon and egg on a French toast bagel drizzled with maple syrup. The was a perfect balance of salty and sweet. I was very pleased and would order it again. I next tried the "Debo" breakfast sandwich on an Asiago Everything Bagel. This sandwich had seasoned chopped steak, egg, peppers, and smoked gouda cheese. This was everything! It was very filling and was a complete meal. I was most impressed with how fresh everything tasted and was shocked (and impressed) to learn they make eggs fresh for every order. They literally crack and scramble eggs for each order. None of their food is waiting under a heat lamp and everything is prepared quickly and delicious for every order. Finally, I tried the Lox on a Garlic Bagel. My choice included the veggie cream cheese layered with fresh sliced tomato and red onion, capers, and plenty of smoked salmon. In addition to the fresh bagels and pastries, there is a very nice coffee bar, plenty of beverage options and breakfast bowls and platters, and sub sandwiches. The shop also advertises catering. It's very important to point out that this location is called the Holey Moley Bagel Bar (not shop) as there is a different location with different owners. During my experience at the Bagel Shop, I was impressed by the continual interaction between the staff and customers. They treated everyone like family, but also acted very professionally and maintained a clean environment. Overall, the Holey Moley Bagel Bar is a wonderful locally owned and operated business with amazing customer service and outstanding bagels and food. I highly recommend checking them out!

Amazing!! Authentic New York bagels! Even my omelette was amazing! The chef, Sharde, has amazing culinaryskills. Everything was delicious!

I'm so glad we tried Holey Miley Bagels! It is definitely authentic New York bagels, delicious! Even my ham and swiss omelette was amazing! Made with love! Thank you Chef!

Still, I'd come back and try more things. I also tried the chocolate banana thing (muffin? Donut? Cupcake.) and found it pretty disappointing. The cake part itself is good, very moist. Too moist to be a donut or a muffin, so it must be a cupcake, which is weird considering the shape. The icing was awful. It's so overpoweringly sweet it doesn't taste like chocolate or banana, just sugar. If you don't scrape it off, it makes the whole thing way too sweet.

Even so, they quickly prepared the bagels I wanted, and I was able to bring delicious bagels along on our road trip. The bagels were so fresh and tasty that I ate them before realizing I had forgotten to take photos, so unfortunately I don't have any good pictures to share! Everything was delicious, but my favorite was the smoked salmon cream cheese. The salmon was blended right into the cream cheese, making it incredibly flavorful and easy to spread. My husband especially loved the BLT bagel sandwich. A special thank-you to the gentleman who helped me the day before and remembered my name. When he noticed something unusual about my reservation, he took the time to call and check with me. It turned out that I had accidentally selected the wrong pickup date when placing my online order--an embarrassing mistake caused by my aging eyesight! His kindness and attention to detail were incredibly helpful, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I'm really grateful to have such a wonderful bagel shop in the neighborhood.

Ever since new ownership took over, I feel like the quality of this place has gone down. Or at least the quality of the food has gone down. The shredded turkey isn't even the same anymore. sliced turkey is no longer the same, you can tell it is from a packaged brand, the one that they use now definitely changes the flavor of the bagel XL. The other day I ordered a bagel XL with sliced turkey, egg, cheese, and cream cheese,l and when I got home it wasn't the sliced turkey but the turkey patty. When I I got home I called them and advised them it was the wrong order. They said to bring it back, and they would make the right one, which they did. But driving back and forth 15 mins each way to go pick it up and exchange it because they wrong is a bit of hassle. Also, it seems like their ordering system is also always printing out the wrong order. And then a few days later I placed an order for delivery and the drink was wrong. I had ordered the peach drink and I got some berry one. I also order a plain bagel with cream cheese for someone and it barely had any cream cheese.
