He was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right materials for my kitchen renovation. He listened carefully to what I was looking for in both a quartz countertop and backsplash tile, showed me a number of appropriate options, and guided me in directions that were actually helpful rather than overwhelming.
