Easy to contact anytime I had questions and even made a walk around video for me since I couldn't just drive down the road to see the car. When I eventually arrived to see the car Nicolass made sure the car was inside since the pollen this time of year is so bad and would leave a blanket of yellow pollen on the car. Also, by the time I made it to the dealership all the paperwork was practically taken care of. All I had to do was show up, check out the car and sign some final paperwork. Paula was the one who handled that part and made the experience a very upbeat and positive experience. Can't say I've ever had a worse experience at a car dealership. Went to trade a couple of vehicles (including a Porsche). Spent hours there. Even chose a vehicle to get shipped to the dealership from another location. Went home and sent 3-4 emails .... All with no response. Completely ghosted. And it's not my income or credit I can assure you. Spoke to another frequent Porsche buyer and they concurred that the service at this place is terrible. They buy all their cars two hours away in Wilmington. So we did the same. Guy texted me within 5 mins every time. Got a deal done in 13 hours without even showing my face. I brought my 911 Turbo in for service and to say it was a horrible experience would be putting it lightly. After not diagnosing the car properly, they jumped to the conclusion that the transmission needed replaced, not repaired, but replaced. Realizing it did not need replaced, I sent it off for repair at a highly reputable shop who examined it, determined other than the bell housing which Porsche SP damaged when taking it out, they refreshed a few synchros and sent it back to be reinstalled. Sadly, it didn't end there. After replacing the clutch, flywheel and pressure plate, they installed the transmission, which they again damaged (over $1k), and the care still wouldn't shift properly. Pulling the car from the shop, after over $20k of work, the next shop found that the throw out bearing needed replaced, which solved all the shifting problems. Additionally, they destroyed the hydraulic oil pump return, which was another $5k of damage. to top it all off, the next shop accidentally threw Porsche SP's service records away, which now Porsche SP REFUSES to give me a copy of, wven sending the GM a personal email requesting this and still got nowhere. I would seriously consider NOT taking your non-CPO cars there, as it appears all you'll get is a damaged car with NO help from anyone at this dealership. read more

Shortly thereafter, the first communication from Porsche HQ predicted delivery would be on June 17, and they made it happen. Very accommodating service department. The facility and staff is very professional, what you should expect from a Porsche dealership from the building, cleanliness, and staff. I appreciate the glass window so you can view your car being serviced, a nice touch to keep an eye on things. I purchased a 2019 Porsche Macan Sport from Porsche Southpoint. The Macan was a lemon and has had several issues within the last 5 months. I have scheduled several service appointments, which were cancelled by Porsche. I am in the process of attempting a collateral swap as the Macan is admittedly a lemon. The service I received from Porsche Southpoint has been horrible as an African American female. They would not approve internal financing so it is clear they did not want me to represent their brand. The purchase was a graduation gift to myself after graduating from Georgetown's LLM in Taxation program. This has been both a disheartening and traumatizing experience. As a person of color and as a human I do not recommend Porsche or Hendrick services The dealership intentionally did not register the car with the state. They had me driving around for 4 months with no tags, which lead to multiple stops by racist white cops. They have destroyed my sense of safety and made a mockery out of me as a curvy black woman. Most notably, they refuse to service the car or provide a loaner while a settlement is in process. If you believe in basic human decency then don't shop at Porsche of Southpoint Durham or Hendrick! They are fucking horrible! Also, be warned, I've been going back and forth with Dean Perella who commented below for almost 5 months. Also, Porsche used software to indicate more miles were driven on the car than were actually driven. The furthest I've been in the lemon is to Charlotte, NC. Accordingly, there is no way I put 20k miles on the car in 5 months. I'm a driver but due to life circumstances I have not been driving long distances. As an update, on July 15, 2021 - Porsche has unlawfully refused to service the lemon Porsche Macan S they sold me in January 2021. They originally agreed to a collateral swap and subsequently backed out. They have been discriminatory in their practices in every way since I first entered the lot in approximately December 2020 to tour and received horrible customer service. They never entered the lot to greet me. July 23, 2021 - Update Porsche ultimately backed out of the collateral swap after admitting that the vehicle qualified as a lemon. Porsche's customer service has been despicable. Additionally, I own a Toyota Camry from Hendrick but I will NEVER service any of their brands or products moving forward." ---- August 2, 2021 As an update, Porsche sold me a lemon with bad tires. I had a blowout on highway 40 after Porsche refused to service the car. Please note, I purchased the warranty package for the tires and Porsche made every excuse not to service the tires. I spoke with Dean, Ray, and others inside the dealership regarding several software malfunctions and maintenance issues. As a result, I now have a 2019 Porsche that I cannot drive at all. It is completely out of commission. I refuse to pay Navy Federal Credit Union as I never closed the loan and reported all issues to Navy. In response, Porsche and Navy agreed to a collateral swap after I decided to have the Porsche voluntarily repossessed. I am highly disappointed in Porsche for their blatant discrimination. As a result of the blowout, I discovered that the air compressor was missing so I was unable to use the spare tire provided by Porsche. Talk about horrible customer service. Porsche has been informed of the missing item. I plan to sue if these issues are not resolved immediately. ---- On August 8, 2021 - Porsche of Southpoint had me arrested. The charges were made by Raymond Staylor "Ray" and Dean Perella of Raleigh, NC. They admitted to myself and Navy Federal Credit Union that the Porsche they sold me was a lemon. It is a 2019 CERTIFIED PreOwned Porsche Macan. I purchased a Wheel and Tire Package which Porsche refused to honor. As such, the tires have blown and placed me at high risk. Porsche is pinning false charges on me, which is NOT okay! Hendrick is liable as well. The Porsche Macan has bad tires and the tire rescue kit is missing the Air Compressor - Porsche refused to replace it. read more

Just terrible. Tried to sell me expensive parts/services I did not need so be careful with the inevitable list of recommended service items they will bring you. When asked why to replace, for example, all spark plugs, the answer was "based on time", not because of engine performance, physical inspection, nor review of service records. Same with the drive belt and brake fluid change. All were actually replaced less than 2,000 miles, 2 years ago as I advised when I booked and dropped off the car, but nothing seems to be retained. They appear to simply pick a few, difficult to verify items to push onto unsuspecting customers to boost revenue. They are taking 3 days (and counting) to do 5 hours of work. Dropped off Thursday morning, was told to pick up my car 5pm Friday (already long), but I decided to wait until Saturday morning. Saturday morning on the way for pick-up: informed the car might be done Saturday close of business. Premium pricing, sluggish service, poor advice and communication. Update: picked-up my 911 COB Saturday. They were not able to provide a detailed service receipt, just the intake form (showing what I brought it in for, not what work they actually performed) Tow hook still on front of car! - talk about lack of detail. Air pressures low all around - this is basic people. Additionally, I asked twice for an appraisal to sell/trade in the car. That of course was not done either. Do not know how South point is considered Premier dealer for Porsche... Its almost a month now and i still do not have my plates . Called couple of times to the sales manager regarding this and no help other than an email that we will come back to you. I called the General manager and they dont answer nor call back. When you buy a premium car , normally the sales guy will check on with you at least couple of times , how the car is running and need of any assistance in understanding the various features. Dont expect this from South point... This dealer nor none of their sales team have the courtesy to check with me at least once. Brand new car with less than 1500 miles and the engine light is already on. I made an appoinment with another Porsche dealer to look at it. Since they didnt make the sale, they are not that interested and gave me an appoinment for next week. Spend more than 100k for a brand new car ... and after a month I dont have a car to ride . I made an appointment 2 days prior to arriving in Durham for a major service to my Macan Turbo. Upon arrival at the service area I was greeted by service advisor Zain Choudhry who was profoundly courteous and professional. I was dropping of the car the night prior so I wouldn't have to awake early. He told me it would take most of the next day and should be ready by 5pm. Much to my amazement, Zain called me the next am and informed me the car was ready. He had a technician perform most of the work overnight. So basically the car was ready 6 hours early! I told him that I was visiting the area and would not be able to do much sightseeing beyond my hotel without my Porsche. Zain went over and above effort to minimize my time w/o transport. He had a driver collect me at my hotel and my Porsche was sparkling clean and ready to go when I arrived. I rarely take the time to review a business but I felt compelled to do so in this instance. Southpoint Porsche in Durham, NC is the best dealership I have ever done business with! On March 18, 2021 I had a NC state inspection and two new Pirelli front tires installed on our Porsche. Excellent work and excellent professional employees. We bought our Porsche in Greensboro and initially had service performed there but over time it became clear that Southpoint is vastly superior. Accordingly, Southpoint Porsche has been taking care of our Porsche for many years. As I waited for my car I walked through the show room enjoying the many cars there. I saw a large freestanding sign in the showroom announcing Southpoint Porsche was named the number one Porsche Premier dealership in the USA!! I believe it! I purchased a vehicle from Porsche Southpoint in November of 2020 as a out of state internet customer and had a less than stellar experience from beginning to end. At the start of my process my sales consultant, Edwin came off as pretty rude. I was essentially told that I could not afford a car since we were $1,000 dollars apart from what I felt was a fair value for the car. I found it quite amusing as the vehicle was paid off less than 3 months later and because the whole point of negotiating as a buyer is to obtain the car for a lower cost. In addition, when my auto transport company picked up the car it had roughly 150 miles more than the odometer statement at the time of sale. When I inquired about the inconsistency I was given a less than stellar response. I was told that the car was driven to be cycled for state emission testings since it "sat for a few days" this made no sense to me or to the technicians who work at the speed shop that I am a part owner of. Furthermore, the vehicle did not have any inspection stickers and would have to undergo a separate inspection in PA in 8-10 weeks. I was also told by my salesman that "he could not guarantee that my car was not hotrodded" while it was driven by the dealer's service team. Again, this would have not been a big deal if I was not purchasing a used super car. Lastly, I was told that I would be reimbursed fed ex fees for overnighting documents and a few other things that were needed to obtain registration and has yet to receive full reimbursement or a response despite following up with the sales consultant. It isn't a great deal of money that is owed to me. However, it speaks volumes to how they conduct business. read more

This dealership would not honor a warranty they sold me. 4 year warranty was purchased. It was confirmed it was good the moment I paid them in full and after inspection of my Macan passed their checklist. A week later I had transmission problems and brought it back and they would not honor their warranty. The Service Manager claimed there was a 30 day waiting period which was not anywhere in the warranty contract. Out right lie. Do not buy a warranty from these people. read more
