Purchased another car from Porsche Tacoma and it was the first time it felt like an "event" -- with all the balloon, cup cakes, unveiling, gift bags, non-alcoholic champagn, etc. it was so delightful and it made our new car even more amazing. Thank you Stephen and Lan for a special occasion-- more to come !!!

Picked up our car on Valentine's Day, and received some special arrangements from Porsche Tacoma Sales Team, love all the decor and the bears. Glad they treat us like a family. Will definitely go back again to buy another car.

We came in over the weekend and we were greeted by Lena. She was very sweet and professional. I was specifically interested in the Macan so we test drove two different modesl of the Macan the S and GTS. I had already test drove the Turbo so it was really just figuring out what was best for me. I live, work and shop in Bellevue/Eastside. All my prior car purchases have been from Bellevue auto dealers, however this time while car shopping I was less impressed with the Bellevue sales people. I decided to venture out and since Tacoma had a larger selection and closer than Bellingham we took a short drive to Fife. My overall experience was A+. After to doing some research I ended up purchasing a 2018 Porsche Macan GTS from Porsche of Tacoma and I am extremely happy:) While I could have ordered my car online and waited a few months for delivery...the one in the showroom with the big red ribbon had my name in it! Lena was awesome and I love my new car!!

I originally wanted to buy a used Boxster 718, Bellevue has one but they have no interest in giving any discount and low ball my trade-in... and the car had high mileage for 2017 (38,000miles) so I contacted Porsche Tacoma. Andre Harlee answered the phone and was very professional. I never own a Porsche before and based on a very short test drive in Bellevue I have fallen in love with the Boxster. I finally drove down to Tacoma and walked into the dealership thinking...hmm, should I get a new one. They have one white beauty in the show room, 2019 basic boxster, exactly what I wanted. But I questioned if the car will live up to the Porsche brand and will deliver. I was also introduced to the new Sales Manager Larry Wendell. The moment I met him, I knew that he is a world class sales person. Very nice and humble, down to earth, and very helpful. Sales team and I negotiated back and forth for a week, albeit after so many critical email I sent them, they were still nice and willing to help me to get my car even though my income was in the borderline approval. I finally got approved and can tell you that the sales team in this store is world class caliber. They don't push to sell, they help you to get what you want, they understand your needs, and they make sure the needs are fulfilled satisfactory. 7 star experience here, both Larry and Andree are super active and would highly recommend to work with both of them to any one. Hard working people who communicates well and stay on top of the customer needs in their best capacity. They also provided great rate for my trade-in, much better than Porsche of Bellevue (automation). In the last 3 years, I bought more than 10 cars for me and my big extended family and friends, all Mercedes Benzes, Volvos, and BMWs, never Porsche. Although other sales department provided world class caliber sales also, Porsche Tacoma sales have surpassed every dealership I have been. They even throw in the expensive all weather mat even after I signed the contract. Service after sales is also great. Andre spent so much time teaching me the Porsche way (their infotainment system) and always answer my question (ie how to activate CD player etc) - few weeks after, the plates came and they put them on for me, even washed my car....and opened the door for me to get into my Boxster. I love my Porsche, and I am strongly thinking to trade in my Benz to a new all black Macan....however, hard time during the corona. Perhaps there's a deal :-) Will I do business again with Larson Porsche of Tacoma, definitely! I would even drive down from Seattle to service my car there.

    Merry Christmas love

So, we purchased a Porsche Macan S, 2 days later Porsche had to picked it up for gear box and transmission issues, the vehicle wouldn't drive. No biggie yet, online says it's occurring to the macan S. We are awaiting the vehicle to be fixed, been a month so far. Plenty of contact nice for sure, very apologetic.. wish my wife had her Christmas gift, but no worries rather it be running and safe. I will let everyone know how Porsche ends up resolving the situation, and making things right on their end. So, that is why only 3 stars as of now, I will finish this review when our dealing with them is complete. Gotta love washington.. watches out for their citizens in so many aspects. We worked with Stanton, very nice guy!

The air conditioning completely failed within 24 hours of driving the car off the lot. After taking it to a Honda dealership they discovered a completely failed compressor shaft seal and a heavily leaking AC discharge hose. It is highly suspicious that the AC worked perfectly during the brief test drive, strongly suggesting the dealership simply recharged the refrigerant right before showing the car to mask a known, pre-existing issue OR just looked the other way at the leak. When I brought this to their attention, the response from management (GM: Frank Lee and Sales Director: Michael Spektor) were completely dismissive. They hid behind "as-is" paperwork to avoid covering the $800 repair bill for a component that failed immediately. If their multi-point inspection failed to catch an active AC leak, they are completely incompetent; if they knew about it and chose not to disclose it, they are dishonest. But don't worry you get your first oil change free here because everyone is so nice here - just not when they need to pay. Not to mention on our first drive out, the splash guard at bottom fell out the bottom while going 70MPH on I-5, you can only image what they would refuse if it had hit someone or caused an accident. Not inspected I'm guessing Once they have your money, they do not care about selling a functional vehicle or respecting your boundaries. Do yourself a favor and buy your next vehicle elsewhere.

Extremely Disappointing Experience -- Felt Taken Advantage Of…read more I don't usually write reviews, but I felt it was important to share my recent experience with Hinshaw's Service Department so others especially women are aware of what they might encounter. Reading prior reviews helped me realize this isn't an isolated issue, and hopefully, mine helps someone else. My vehicle was towed to their service center on October 8 because it wouldn't start. It turned out to need a simple battery replacement, which I expected to be straightforward. During that time, my service advisor Tim informed me about two recalls (the bearing rod and fuel pump), which I approved to have completed. My car was ready on October 10, and I picked it up that morning. The very next day, my vehicle unexpectedly shifted into neutral on its own and wouldn't change gears. I recorded the issue and contacted the service department right away. The car was towed back a second time, and I was told no error codes appeared but that they would keep it for observation. The following day, they said everything looked fine and that it was running fine. However, within two minutes of leaving the lot, the same problem happened again. I called immediately, and Tim advised me to bring it back yet again. Later, he said the issue is the Transmission Control Module (TCM) but the part was on backorder and could take up to a year to arrive. He even suggested that my "best option" is to trade in the vehicle, then transferred me to sales. When I spoke with David in sales, he told me the used car manager wouldn't buy a car with an undiagnosed issue but could take it on a trade-in. The whole thing felt off. I specifically said I don't want to trade my vehicle in but please quote me on an as is amount they would possibly give me for the vehicle. By this point, I had already paid $387.54, and now I was being told I'd need to pay another $220 for diagnostics and potentially $1,700 (TCM) + $800 in labor for a repair that might not even fix the issue. There was no clear explanation or guarantee. Tim was polite but seemed rushed, dismissive, and uninterested in hearing my concerns. His push to get me into a new vehicle felt manipulative. I contacted Service Manager Mike McCoy to better understand what was actually done to my car and what I was being charged for. Mike called me, explained the steps taken, and apologized. However, he also implied that I might have caused the transmission problem because I hadn't done a transmission fluid flush something he confirmed by calling my oil change shop and checking my CARFAX, which felt unnecessary and accusatory. Interestingly, Mike also discovered that the TCM part was not backordered as Tim claimed it could be available within a week. About 30 minutes later, Mike called to tell me that after personally inspecting my car, he found three software updates that needed to be installed and that this resolved the issue completely. While I appreciate that Mike ultimately took the time to fix the problem, this entire experience was stressful, frustrating, and deeply disappointing. It's clear there's a serious lack of communication and oversight in the service department. Tim, in particular, should be monitored more closely his actions nearly pushed me into a completely unnecessary trade-in or buying unnecessary parts which could have cost me thousands of dollars. In the end, the issue was fixed with software updates, not a new transmission or part on "backorder." The thought that someone could intentionally mislead a customer especially one already stressed and unfamiliar with car repairs is disturbing. Hinshaw's needs to take a hard look at how their service advisors operate. What happened to me felt predatory and dishonest. I sincerely hope no one else, especially another woman, has to experience what I went through.

I have an upcoming service on my car that requires a flush and fill on the transmission, differential and brakes. This is a service I felt comfortable doing on my own. This was not shown on website listing and could not be removed despite being labeled as an "option". I bought a 2023 RAV4 Hybrid from here a couple years ago. After buying, I knew that they had screwed me even after negotiating down. However, I waited to write a review until my service contract was over. I saw the RAV4 I wanted on their website. It was listed at MSRP (I've uploaded an image of the sticker on their site) with a single $798 dealer-installed accessory (Pulse) that came with the car. So the total online was $38,007. I called beforehand to confirm availability and was told that the price was accurate. After I went and test drove, it was time to do paperwork and I was hit with a fat $7k add-on for the "Larson Appearance Package" as well as a $1k Zurich Key Protection (see the image I uploaded). That's an insane $8k increase. I tried repeatedly to get them to remove the appearance package, but the salesman and the finance manager kept pushing strongly. They eventually told me that because the hybrid model is in high demand, they mixed a "market adjustment" into the cost of this additional package. For that reason, they weren't willing to sell me this car without the package (aka not really an "option" despite the name) and were going to wait a couple weeks for someone else to buy it. I did end up negotiating the price of the appearance package down, but I would've much rather had it completely left off. The dealership knew what they're doing by omitting this from the car's listing and then tried to slap this ~20% price increase on the customer right before they were about to make a purchase. Then I also had to go through the usual pitch from finance where they try as hard as they can to push extended warranties that I didn't need. I originally purchased this car from Puyallup Korum Hyndai but when I called them to inquire about servicing my failed engine they lied to me over the phone. They told me that my make and model was not part of the class action law suit for rods and bearings in relation to engine failure. So when I called Tacoma Hyndai they at least told me that I was part of the lawsuit due to my make and model but I would most likely not quality for the repair coverage due to it being very specific defect and I would need a lot of records that proved I maintained the cars maintenance. They informed me the warranty evaluation process would cost $118.00 and that is just to see if it qualified for the warrenty repair. I also learned at that point, that I was not the first owner. Now I understand that the first owner of the car gets the warrenty. Plus, in 2022 I had already spent $5,000 at Graham Auto on this vehicle replacing the turbo aspect at 55,000 miles. So here I am again at 88,000 miles and I need a new engine. The Tacoma Larson Hyndai kept my vehicle in their shop from late June - early August with little solution offered to me but to buy a new engine at $10,000. I found an (outside of Hyndai Coop. ) warranty that I purchased for $4000.00 when my loan was created. So when my car was sitting in the shop for one month and nothing had been done to it I called Tony the shop manager. Tony said he would "look over my car" and see that I got pushed to the front of the line. August, Sept and Oct go by...still now offer for a loaner car. I would call repeatedly for updates. I texted Matt for updates with little replies from him and Tony the manager was not available for phone. Matt finally made progress with the warranty company and then told me that he would actually need to "take apart or tear down the engine" and see what needs to be replaced. It is now October, finally the parts are here and I paid for services that the warranty company could not cover ($1400.00) The main repair needed was due to a blown head gasket and the timing chain was changed out too. So I got my repaired car back late November. When I picked it up from Matt and he handed me my keys he told me how the other tech "had to work really hard in these last two weeks to get it done for me." I bite my tongue and laugh so hard inside...well I'm glad someone worked hard in these last few weeks to make up for the last six months. I got my car back and vowed to not drive it on the freeway and trade it in ASAP. The holiday season was right around the corner so I went holiday shopping with my daughter and sure enough the check engine light comes on when I get on the freeway! Not even to one part of Tacoma to the next, so a short ride. It becomes a little bit noticeable that we have power loss. By the time my husband comes back to the car with me to see if he could get it home, the check engine light was off and it was fine. My 17 year old daughter is my witness that it was not fine prior! So we call Larson and they take it back in. This time they said they couldn't find a problem and light never came back on but there is something with the muffler that could be replaced and that would help the engine. Since the Natl Warrenty had been so helpful I went ahead and used my warrenty again. This time I don't have to wait months for the repair. I think Matt knew I was at the end of my rope with this situation!! So one week goes by maybe five day even and the car is fixed and ready to be picked up again. All repaired and ready for winter!! I paid another $1500.00 for that muffler type repair with the warranty too. They don't cover the work 100%. Expensive little suv!! I have not traded it in yet because of the interest rate 3% vs today's rate. Plus I still have the warranty from Natl Warrenty Company. This warrenty company was great and even told how there were huge gaps in the communication process between them and Hyndai and it wasn't on their part. I told them about my poor experience with Hyndai Larson in Tacoma and they were very sympathetic and understanding to my heart ache. Not like the front reception staff at Hyndai Larson. I was clearly an annoying customer to them and they were not sympatric to my situation at all. So that's my experience was in a nut shell. One year has gone by since my car broke down in May 2024 and I still drive with a ton of anxiety because of the quality of this car and the minor PTSD I have from dealing with such a terrible auto mechanic shop. I didn't bring my suv to Puyallup or Tacoma Hyndai when the turbo failed in 2022 because I had a feeling they were shady and now I have my proof
