TLDR: Egregious $7k appearance package add-on that they eventually admitted was a market adjustment in disguise. This was not shown on website listing and could not be removed despite being labeled as an "option". I bought a 2023 RAV4 Hybrid from here a couple years ago. After buying, I knew that they had screwed me even after negotiating down. However, I waited to write a review until my service contract was over. I saw the RAV4 I wanted on their website. It was listed at MSRP (I've uploaded an image of the sticker on their site) with a single $798 dealer-installed accessory (Pulse) that came with the car. So the total online was $38,007. I called beforehand to confirm availability and was told that the price was accurate. After I went and test drove, it was time to do paperwork and I was hit with a fat $7k add-on for the "Larson Appearance Package" as well as a $1k Zurich Key Protection (see the image I uploaded). That's an insane $8k increase. I tried repeatedly to get them to remove the appearance package, but the salesman and the finance manager kept pushing strongly. They eventually told me that because the hybrid model is in high demand, they mixed a "market adjustment" into the cost of this additional package. For that reason, they weren't willing to sell me this car without the package (aka not really an "option" despite the name) and were going to wait a couple weeks for someone else to buy it. I did end up negotiating the price of the appearance package down, but I would've much rather had it completely left off. The dealership knew what they're doing by omitting this from the car's listing and then tried to slap this ~20% price increase on the customer right before they were about to make a purchase. Then I also had to go through the usual pitch from finance where they try as hard as they can to push extended warranties that I didn't need. "I would never let my kids drive without extended warranty" the guy kept telling me. Give me a break. read more

My car broke down in May 2024. I had to wait a whole month just to get an appt for an evaluation with Tacoma Larson Hyndai. I originally purchased this car from Puyallup Korum Hyndai but when I called them to inquire about servicing my failed engine they lied to me over the phone. They told me that my make and model was not part of the class action law suit for rods and bearings in relation to engine failure. So when I called Tacoma Hyndai they at least told me that I was part of the lawsuit due to my make and model but I would most likely not quality for the repair coverage due to it being very specific defect and I would need a lot of records that proved I maintained the cars maintenance. They informed me the warranty evaluation process would cost $118.00 and that is just to see if it qualified for the warrenty repair. I also learned at that point, that I was not the first owner. Now I understand that the first owner of the car gets the warrenty. Plus, in 2022 I had already spent $5,000 at Graham Auto on this vehicle replacing the turbo aspect at 55,000 miles. So here I am again at 88,000 miles and I need a new engine. The Tacoma Larson Hyndai kept my vehicle in their shop from late June - early August with little solution offered to me but to buy a new engine at $10,000. I found an (outside of Hyndai Coop. ) warranty that I purchased for $4000.00 when my loan was created. So when my car was sitting in the shop for one month and nothing had been done to it I called Tony the shop manager. Tony said he would "look over my car" and see that I got pushed to the front of the line. August, Sept and Oct go by...still now offer for a loaner car. I would call repeatedly for updates. I texted Matt for updates with little replies from him and Tony the manager was not available for phone. Matt finally made progress with the warranty company and then told me that he would actually need to "take apart or tear down the engine" and see what needs to be replaced. It is now October, finally the parts are here and I paid for services that the warranty company could not cover ($1400.00) The main repair needed was due to a blown head gasket and the timing chain was changed out too. So I got my repaired car back late November. When I picked it up from Matt and he handed me my keys he told me how the other tech "had to work really hard in these last two weeks to get it done for me." I bite my tongue and laugh so hard inside...well I'm glad someone worked hard in these last few weeks to make up for the last six months. I got my car back and vowed to not drive it on the freeway and trade it in ASAP. The holiday season was right around the corner so I went holiday shopping with my daughter and sure enough the check engine light comes on when I get on the freeway! Not even to one part of Tacoma to the next, so a short ride. It becomes a little bit noticeable that we have power loss. By the time my husband comes back to the car with me to see if he could get it home, the check engine light was off and it was fine. My 17 year old daughter is my witness that it was not fine prior! So we call Larson and they take it back in. This time they said they couldn't find a problem and light never came back on but there is something with the muffler that could be replaced and that would help the engine. Since the Natl Warrenty had been so helpful I went ahead and used my warrenty again. This time I don't have to wait months for the repair. I think Matt knew I was at the end of my rope with this situation!! So one week goes by maybe five day even and the car is fixed and ready to be picked up again. All repaired and ready for winter!! I paid another $1500.00 for that muffler type repair with the warranty too. They don't cover the work 100%. Expensive little suv!! I have not traded it in yet because of the interest rate 3% vs today's rate. Plus I still have the warranty from Natl Warrenty Company. This warrenty company was great and even told how there were huge gaps in the communication process between them and Hyndai and it wasn't on their part. I told them about my poor experience with Hyndai Larson in Tacoma and they were very sympathetic and understanding to my heart ache. Not like the front reception staff at Hyndai Larson. I was clearly an annoying customer to them and they were not sympatric to my situation at all. So that's my experience was in a nut shell. One year has gone by since my car broke down in May 2024 and I still drive with a ton of anxiety because of the quality of this car and the minor PTSD I have from dealing with such a terrible auto mechanic shop. Not only did my brand new car have a dent on the hood from them moving in from their travel truck it took them after purchase 2 weeks to get back to me to get my brand new car once they fixed it then still waiting on license plates 40+ days later expired temp. plates and 3 calls later and still no response back. I reviewed a Jeep Cherokee online in the evening and was contacted right away the next morning. The sales agent, Brent, brought the car to my work for a test drive. He then made the paperwork process to begin purchasing the Jeep seamless. Stephanie in financing was an added gem and extremely helpful. Brent noticed a bulge in a front tire after all the paperwork was completed and advised they would replace the two front tires. He picked the car up from my work and took it himself to have this done as he stated, "That is not how we work" referring to not letting me buy a car from their dealership with something wrong. The customer service and honesty were way above average as I had walked out of two dealerships, prior to landing at Larson, for poor customer service. Thank you all for your help! I tried to follow up with them two additional times and even cc'd in a second management contact I had been given.... nothing. Definitely not concerned with customer service and this is clearly a systemic issue within the entire company. I was also reviewing my paperwork and started checking to see if everything I paid for was added to the truck. No surprise to me... it wasn't. Things I paid for are not there! Tamir and his manager are truly chauvinistic a**holes. This statement can't be defined any other way. My husband and I went in to look at a vehicle. I did all of the contact. My name was on the deal. Tamir insisted on going on the test drive with us...this does not meet social distancing guidelines when he is leaning over the backseat trying to push the stereo buttons.... we knew how to use it and didn't need assistance. They made us test drive the car with 8 miles to empty.... I was afraid to even push on the gas. When we told them our negative equity on our loan, they told us simply "That is too much." I should have left then, but I really liked the vehicle. They then proceeded to offer me $5k below blue book for my car. They didn't even pull my vehicle from "blue book"...... it was a totally different vehicle. When I pulled up my vehicle, they acted shocked. The sales manager then approached my husband only and left me standing at the door, and tried to steer my husband towards another vehicle. Needless to say, we didn't take his direction To top it all off, Tamir had the audacity to call me on the 29th and tell me it was the end of the month and he was ready to earn my business.... he sure wasn't ready when I was there. We came into the Larson dealership at 3:06pm after calling and talking to Brett. He said he would text us directions, but never did which resulted in us going to the wrong dealership and having to drive another 20 minutes in rush hour traffic. We took the SUV that we were interested in for a test drive. They sat us down (Place was empty) and made us wait 40 minutes for the first offer. I had to listen to the salesperson and finance guy talk about "how certain employees were unhappy with the merge and were leaving for Sunset". After 40 minutes I asked, "What is taking so long? No one is in here." Everyone snapped out of their employee gossip and told me, "Just a few more minutes." Finally got the offer, APR despite my A+ credit was ridiculously high. They are not looking for the best deal for their customer. I told them to check several credit unions and miraculously the APR goes into the 2% range instead of 5-6% like they were pitching. Did some negotiating, and the salesperson began insulting my trade in to justify the low pricing. Nice. Finally settled on a price, shook hands, filled in the paperwork...and was told we had to drive to a new location to do more paperwork. My family cleaned out the old car and moved everything to the new. We drove to the finance building and were told it would be over an hour wait as they had...one...person...working on the final purchasing and a huge lineup of people looking to buy. After waiting another 1.5 hours and being told, "you're next!" the entire time, we eventually packed up and left in frustration. This meant moving everything from the new car back to the old car. We were at 8:10pm at this point and had wasted over 5 hours trying to buy this car. Sadly, the next day I received a dozen texts and a phone message saying the keys to the car we were interested in buying were missing and they wanted us to check to make sure that we did not take them. Overall a TERRIBLE experience and one I will never repeat. Save your time and AVOID Larson's chain of dealerships. read more

If I could I would give this place a 0 star. This was my first time buying a car and it was everything they tell you can go wrong. I wasnt given the customer service, the car didn't come with what was said it would come with, their is a crack on the windshield that of course they will say wasn't there, and of course just the feeling of getting ripped off. I would not recommend anyone waste their time coming here. I have lost my time and lots of money. Oh and also you don't have 5 days to return the car you have to exchange it for something similar priced WITH LARSON which yes I know I should have known was too good to be true but also wasn't explained correctly. I purchased two vehicles in August of 2019. A 2013 Ford Explorer, and a 2008 Honda CR-V. The Honda needed some minor body work, which Zavia and Chase assured me would be taken care of and be great. They had the Honda for 2 weeks. I received it, missing the floor mats, the fender didn't align, bumper was loose, the bumper had scuffs in it, there were runs in the paint. Chase agreed the work was simply unacceptable, and they agreed to repair the work that they had done. Zavia told me it was done by an outside body shop, Chase said it was done by a guy that comes to them. They agreed to repair it, they corrected the paint issue and refused to complete the rest of work. Zavia even accused me of lying about the floor mats, but agreed to get the bolts and floor mats for me. That was in September. It's now 3 months later, and I have yet to receive either. Basically they stole from me. The explorer had an open recall on it, that they agreed to assist me with, yet they did nothing. I am left with no choice but to file a formal complaint with the attorney general. I will not spend another dime with this dealer, and would recommend that you avoid them. read more

My son needed a reliable car- and had no credit. I I had just helped him to get into a car not 2years prior from a pot lot... and needless to say, that car did not last long. I had limited time as I live in Vegas, and my son lives in Washington- I found a car online and we went to the Larson-Audi dealer in Fife to look at this car. I have dealt with many car dealerships thoroughout my time, so I fingured it would be a swarm of salesmen approaching us. But this did not happen. We went inside, and was greeted by Shawn. I showed him the listing on my phone, and he went to get more information. Turns out it was a newer trade in and still needed to go through the inspection checklist. I explained to Shawn what I needed (a reliable car that my son could afford and was hoping that he could start to build up his credit-but I was limited on the time in town, and needed a quick turnaround) Shawn knew what his mission was, and sent me a few options to look at. Come to find out, Shawn had just gone through the same ordeal with his son. I immediately felt a little more at ease knowing this and I felt I was going to be in good hands. Purchased a 2018 Kona in cash first week of October, as of yesterday, March 15th we still do not have the license plates or the Title. Several emails back and forth asking what the hold up was and we were told they didn't know. Today, they called to tell us our plates were in and to come pick them up. This is a two part review. Leased a 2018 Toyota 4Runner roughly 20 months ago. The process to get that deal done was part circus, part comedy, and was the entire reason most people do not look forward to visiting a car dealership. After being presented with an initial lease payment of $949 (does anyone EVER take the first offer) we decided to leave after the deal turned aggressive. As we were leaving, a sales manager yelled a price to us across the parking lot, and we decided to go back in and talk. They held our deal for a few weeks as we had a lemon to turn in and were waiting. After returning, we were informed they lost the deal, and we had to do everything over again. Fast forward to now. After a year on a single income due to my Wife being out of work, we returned to see if there was anything they could do to get the $608 a month payment lower. We were helped by Jerimiah who was very nice and receptive. It was late in the day and we ran out of time, but were promised a call back with options. The next day came and went. No phone call. After I called him back, he promised a call back. Zero follow up. Our credit was run multiple times, and we were never told anything.... To the Management of this dealership: Follow through is nonexistent. You were fast to take the deal, but can't help us out now that our situation changed. We understand you're not in the "let's loose some money" business, but to flat out not follow up is pretty terrible. To potential new customers: There are other Toyota dealerships eager to earn your business. Go elsewhere. Don't make the same mistake we made. This dealership sold me a car that was already sold. Without knowing this, we asked about using their 5day exchange to get a car with a few more options, so they put us in a different car to try for a day. They didn't tell us that the other car was $7,000 more and would increase our payment by $90/mo and stretch it up to 84mo! When we came back for our car it was gone, and they lied to us about where it was and why. They tried to shoehorn us into any old car on the lot, and when I adamantly demanded my car that I purchased, they admitted that they didn't have it and cancelled the loan contract. After 2 hours waiting the finance guys came back with a deal that was double what I originally agreed to. After a car wreck that left my car totaled, I was in the market for a new one. I found a RAV4 at Larsons that I was interested in and went in to look. Kenji was the one that helped us and he did a great job! He was friendly and not pushy at all. I felt that he was truly there to help me get something good and that I liked. After finding something perfect for me, it was off to financing. We only had to wait a few minutes despite the place being packed with people. David was the financing guy and he explained everything very well and I did not feel pressured to buy anything I did not want. Larsons also has the lifetime powertrain warranty which is a bonus! If we are ever in the market for another vehicle, we will definitely be going back to Larsons and I hope we can work with Kenji and David again!! read more

On Wednesday 4/28/2021 my wife and I went to Larson Toyota to purchase a vehicle from a place in which we thought was going to be a good experience but instead it turned out HORRIBLE! The salesman we had his customer service was deplorable and he was very nonchalant. It was around 10:30pm when we finished the deal and in the morning we noticed the vehicle was in an accident that wasn't reported to carfax because there was a huge dent and a difference in paint and it was not reported. We took the vehicle back the next day because of their 5 day exchange program. So Toyota told us they would give us a call on Friday 4/30/2021 but received a call from Larson Volkswagen. Prior to purchasing a vehicle we asked 4 different Larson car automotive group dealership Managers if we purchased a vehicle from any Larson Automotive group would we be able to exchange any where within the Larson Automotive group and we were told yes. So we took the car back to Larson Toyota and they said we would not be able to go to another dealership because it was the end of the month and they wanted to keep the deal. I Asked the car sales Manager Alex does he have any of the cars my wife and I were inerested in which was a VW Atlas or Cross Sport he told us he didn't know the inventory when all he had to do was go to the system and look up the particular vehicle we were asking about. How did he get to be sales manager I don't know! My wife and I was being given the run around so I told the sales manager to call the GM Bobby Lynn of Larson Toyota of Tacoma. I received a call personally on my cell phone by Shawn Osborne the GM of Larson Volkswagen that he would take care of us personally and give us a good deal and Yada Yada Yada so I was like ok cool. So my wife and I went there and our salesperson did a good job but when we got to the finance portion we were told that we wouldn't be eligible for the best APR % because we were exchanging a vehicle and they had to go through a different program which was a lie! The managers I spoke to at the other Larson car dealers stated that the vehicle being exchanged that contract would then be resended for the vehicle being exchanged and we would have to pay taxes on the vehicle we wanted and we receive all incentives based on OAC for the incentives. We were flabbergasted that a 2015 Honda with 22K miles with a 2.8% APR and was exchanging for a 2021 VW Atlas with 10 miles and they had the audacity to tell us that it would be 3.44% APR and we wouldn't qualify for any incentives nor truecare program all he could do was give me a $500.00 military discount and I kept asking how is that all the GM Shawn Osborne and the finance guy could say it was an exchange but could not give us any hard facts!!! DO not go to Larson they are liars and my wife asked the GM Shawn Osborne where does it states we are not eligible for the incentives he told us he was doing us a favor which was Bullshit!!! Long story short I was calling to get answers because I couldn't sleep all Friday night and I was being ignored because you can't use *67 to make your number private so they saw it was me and never picked up. We were lied to and there is no way that a mid line vehicle would cost more than a premium vehicle fully loaded. This place is trying to take my wife and I for a ride and it is not going to happen!!! This dealership is still back in the dark ages! I should have guessed it when the salesman who I had made an appointment with wasn't there to greet me when I arrived. (He had to be called from another building). Yet even prior to this, we had exchanged emails earlier in the day. In those emails, he sent me a listing for a new car which was priced at $44,000 in the paperwork he sent me. He kept insisting that I must be misreading it, since the price was "only $36,000" and his emails seemed quite put out with me for not reading them correctly. When he arrived to meet me, he pulled up the same listing that he had sent me via email, and right there in front of him it said $44,000. All he said was "what?" ( no apology for his prior insinuations of my ineptitude). We did all the normal things, took the car for a drive etc, and then it came time for him to make me an offer on my trade in. He came back from the manager's office with a quote of $12,000. No way! I had already done my homework, and I knew that it was valued much higher on Kelly Blue book. He was very rude and seemed insulted by my insisting that was an extremely low offer. (And he began the good old boy banter of car salesmen from long ago. ). I was not pleased. And the first time I asked him for my car keys and registration back I was very polite. He said, now we'll, let's just pull up the blue book price on the computer. I replied that I didn't need to play those games because I already knew what it said. Then he got rude.. he said in a huffy tone "well, would you be happy if it was listed for $1.00and we offered you $1.00?!?" (At this point I have absolutely no idea what he's talking about, nor did he himself. He got angry and said " I'll go see if I can get you the $17,000 you want" I said "no, I just want my keys and registration"( and my voice was very firm at this point). I no longer wanted to do business with this company. The young 'manager' was attempting to play me like I was a dumb female whom he could swindle out of money. Absolutely do not recommend Larson Automotive Group. We came in to test drive a late model used Toyota and were really unhappy with how our experience went. The vehicle was nice and we were ready to make a purchase. We wrote an offer and then Larson started in with the games. First they came out with a starting price offer that was actually *higher* than the advertised price by about $300, claiming that was the extra cost for some special brake lights. This was a used vehicle, mind you, and the brake lights they referenced are a standard part of the trim package for this model - not anything they added separately. This seemed very dishonest and shady. Then they clearly wanted to play the tough negotiation / hard sell game. After wasting more time waiting for them to run offers back and forth between us and the sales manager, we finally said "no thanks" and walked out. I did leave my contact info with the sales agent and told him to contact us if the price dropped at all. Well, lo and behold they've dropped the price and I never heard from them. What's funny is that their online price now is within a few hundred bucks of what we offered - 2 months ago. LOL. The good news for us is that the following week we decided to purchase a new vehicle for a few thousand more than Larson wanted for that car that is *still* sitting on their lot. And you can bet that we took our cash right down the road to their competitor, who treated us fairly and did not play the games that Larson did. read more

Avoid. Less than 4 year old vehicle died less than 6 months after purchase. I acquired an extended warranty at time of purchase, but that does you no good if your vehicle is constantly 'in the queue' to be looked at. Weeks without a vehicle and all the loaners are currently 'not available either'. What a joke of an organization. read more

Do Not Go Here. Came in on a Saturday purchased a car put down a down payment with a promise of delivery from a different dealership by mid week. Monday morning they deposited our check. Monday afternoon they called and said the car they sold us had been sold to somebody else. We asked for a refund and the said it would take 3-5 business days so we waited. 7 days later we have called them 6 times. Left several messages for somebody to call us back and when I finally get a manager on the line he was a sad excuse for customer service. Didn't listen to the problem but tried to sell me another car! When I told him flat out no due to this experience he said fine we'll cut you a check tomorrow. Apparently there was no signer in the building until tomorrow and no matter what I said I wasn't going to get a check today. His tone of apology is like when a McDonald's employee telling me the McFlurry machine is broken AGAIN. Bored. Didn't care. Then when I asked him why was it so simple to cut a check the next day, why was I told to wait a week? He said he didn't know and "look so do I want the check tomorrow or what?" Save your time and money because clearly this place doesn't care AT ALL for their customers. Update: My husband received a call from corporate as a general follow up to our recent "sale" and asked us how our experience was. My husband unloaded on the rep and the rep seemed genuinely sorry and said a manager should be calling my husband back now. NO CALL. shocking. My husband then drove to Tacoma to pick up our check that was promised to us yesterday. Guess what? Apparently it's store policy that they aren't able to return funds until 10 business days AFTER they take your money. Apparently they don't have our money even though it's cleared our account last week. 10 minutes of back and forth and it was clear that this place doesn't give a damn about their customers. At all. Aaron Clay was wonderful. I told him what I wanted my payment to be monthly and asked him what we needed to do to make it happen. Aaron took the paper to his superior and came back, showed my husband and myself the bottom line. My husband said yes. The monthly payment I asked for with all the items my husband wanted. Do not recommend this dealer!!!! Purchased a used truck from them in April. It took a super long time to get in with the finance guy (Jake) and of course, it was way past dinner time and we were starving. He proceeded to fast talk his way through the paperwork, talking about all the wonderful toys that he owns the whole time. Said he was "throwing in the clear coat". Finally got done, said he would email us the paperwork. Weird, usually you leave a dealer with an envelope stuffed full. When we got the paperwork over a month later, we noticed that we had been charged for clear coat. Reached out to Jake, he was going to review the recorded conversations he has of every transaction. (Really? Wouldn't we need to be notified if our conversation was being recorded?) Long story short, he gave us the runaround for 6 months (full of excuses, he was on vacation, he had covid, he's waiting to hear back from accounting, on and on). Finally said he had discounted the warranty (bull), so could only offer us 1/3 the price of the clear coat back. Took another 8 weeks and more excuses, but we finally got something. We reached out to Larson leadership at one point, but were ignored. Have let all our friends, neighbors and relatives know to avoid them and will continue to post negative reviews on all social media avenues. read more

The car shopping experience can be exhausting encountering the salesman hustle. Having visited several previous dealerships I knew what make, model, and year I wanted for my next car, a Toyota RAV XLE 2018. I finally found the color I wanted at Toyota of Tacoma. I made appointment with Evin Jones. When I entered the vehicle I immediately noticed a cracked windshield. The car fax was clean with no accidents so I wasn't particularly concerned. The car drove well and I have never owned an all wheel drive vehicle before. Evin was easy going and low key. I pretty much made up my mind prior to arriving that I was going to purchase the vehicle. Price point was good and financing interest rate was very good. Evin checked in regularly while waiting for finance which was nice. They fixed the windshield and delivered vehicle which was about 40 miles from dealership. My only complaint was not receiving any copies of the financial paperwork. read more

I went to Porsche dealership after my navigation led me to this area which is accordingly, a Nissan dealership (I have to update my navigation). I have very little charge left on my car and no way I can make it to Tacoma Nissan. Thus, I have informed the front desk of my dilemma. There was this young guy who used to work for Tesla in Bellevue that weathered the rain and went out of his way to render me help. I so appreciate this young guy's humane way of lending a helping hand. This dealership will gain more customers as they found a treasure in this young man who knows the meaning of "customer service." I completed a request through Hyundai to find a specific car. I got a call from the other dealers in the area asking for more details. I got an email from Larson with an offer for a different year & model. I replied suggesting they re-read my original request and heard nothing. The next week I got the same email with the same incorrect car again. Needless to say I'll be purchasing from one of the other dealers! If they don't care enough to understand my needs prior to the sale, I can't imaging how it would be after. read more

. I was satisfied with sales and management when we agreed on numbers. I had to fight for them but, I did get them. I achieved what I set out to do (after threatening a poor online review) but, so be it. So we went to the dealership after I made it clear that offer had to be exactly as planned. All was going well, I wrote my review while waiting for the Finance manager - RA. That's when the wheels came off! I wasn't paying enough attention to the paperwork as the Vehicle was meant to be in my Wife's name only. We did discuss the loan. We were told the only way we could get part of the discount/rebate was to apply with Hyundai Finance. We agreed until we were told what the rate was. It was outrageous! We have good credit so we were shocked when we were told what we were being offered. Then we were told they would put us through a local credit union. If we used them, we could still get part of the rebate. We agreed, even though I told them we already had financing through our credit union- at a better rate than their CU offered. Again, we would not be eligible for any rebate unless we used their bank. My wife signed the papers and we took delivery and drove home. The following day, I was reviewing the paperwork since the total amount financed just didn't add up. AS I looked closer, I could see that there were 2 additional products added to the deal! I was also struggling with the cost of the tag and license and of course, the inevitable, allegedly negotiable Doc fee was added and not negotiated. We prepared our own numbers on a spreadsheet and went back to the dealer. First, we begrudgingly agreed to accept the Hyundai financing after all since I called my CU and they told me I didn't have to make 4-6 payments to Hyundai and that my CU would take over the loan before we even had to make a single payment to Hyundai! Funny thing though, after we said switch the loan to Hyundai, the Percentage rate we were quoted went up 1%!! How does that happen? We were already approved 2 days prior at a lower rate. Let me guess, they misspoke??!! Then I had to raise my voice to get them to remove these 2 unrequested, unexplained "add-ons". No one ever mentioned these. Never explained them, etc. $1300 for the pair!! Are you kidding me? At this point, an explanation was too late. I told them to remove those charges. Then I told him, I would not agree to pay the doc fee. I have never not paid it. I always felt like I was making good deals and thought I should give them that. Now, I was not going to. Miraculously, the Tag and license charges were discounted - by $150!!! Hmmm. So they overestimated that cost? Of course not. They were double-dipping on the doc fee. Then, they contact me and say they need a copy of my Driver's license? THEY ALREADY HAD ONE FROM THE TEST DRIVE! It's unfortunate that I have to write this. This reminded me of years ago - when dealers found ways of making money on a savvy customer; slipping in "add-ons" to the contract, padding interest rates, changing the prices and the rules as they go, etc. There are many dealers to choose from.
