My doctor sent a fax with the order for 3 medications. These meds were time sensitive for me to inject ASAP. The nurse told me that the order should be ready by the time I get to the pharmacy. It took me 25 minute to get to the pharmacy. BUT the medications were not even processed. It took a pharmacist more than an hour to give me one out of 3 meds. Then she told me that the rest of my medications would be delivered by 5pm. BUT they were delivered at 6:10pm. I would not recommend this pharmacy if medications are time sensitive. I would understand if there was a huge line there but during the time I was waiting there, I hadn't seen even one customer other than me. read more

They take forever to deliver the orders, 8-10 pm should not be an appropriate time to deliver orders. I don't blame the drivers because they are doing what they are told but I think the pharmacy needs to send out the medication earlier so we don't have to get woken up or disturbed late at night to receive my medicine. read more

I went to drop off a new prescription this morning and the new pharmacist told me my insurance wouldn't pay for it. I asked for a reason, and they would not give one. After telling me it'd still be only $20, I left expecting to have my medication filled. 15 minutes later I was given a call that the owner of the pharmacy wouldn't fill my prescription because it was too expensive to order. I had to drive back and pick up my prescription again. When I asked why my insurance wouldn't reimburse the cost, she would not answer me, and refused to order it even if I paid her cost. When I asked where my usual pharmacist was, I was yelled at that this sort of issue is why she had to fire the pharmacist I am used to. I have no clue why she got so mad at me for just asking where the usual person I see was. Long story short, the owner of the pharmacy recently fired all of the helpful and friendly associates she had employed, and apparently feels the need to yell at her customers for something that wasn't in their control, and refuses to answer any questions about having a prescription filled. read more

This is my favorite pharmacy. They have great customer service and pricing. We had a bit of a mix up with my med order due to my doctor's office and Northridge pharmacy handled it with compassion. Top notch care - I am so thankful for this pharmacy and its staff. They are very caring and committed to the health, wellbeing, and needs of their clients. Each time I ordered meds from them they were quick and efficient and friendly. All of my orders were called in and delivered to me via FedEx, except for the time I forgot to refill one of my medications - and I had to have it that day. It was of course a Saturday evening and the pharmacy was closed. I got ahold of my doctor's office and they were able to contact Raffi. He met me at the Pharmacy and refilled my prescription. I felt terrible that I made him come in on a Saturday night, but he was so kind about it. (And this was after I was very rude to him on the phone, because I was mad at myself for not paying attention to my medications, even after my nurse checked with me to make sure I had what I needed. Totally my fault.) I used Northridge Plaza Pharmacy on several occasions over a two year period and was very pleased. As far as I know they have the best prices in the area. My orders always arrived on-time and were packaged correctly, neatly, and properly, so that items that needed to remain refrigerated were kept at their proper temperature. This pharmacy is amazing. Couldn't give a higher review. A pharmacy manager named Shima helped us through the entire process and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND. We were ordering medication for IVF (which is emotional and stressful), and she took the stress out of the equation when it came to the medication piece. She was extremely helpful, communicative, supportive, and had great follow through. She even helped us search for programs where we could get discounts off of our medication!! This pharmacy is beyond awesome. We drive out of our way to come here. Our local pharmacies are beyond inconsistent and you can be waiting 1-2 hours if not longer for a prescription. This place you are In and out in less than 5 minutes or they'll do you one better. If you call ahead they have the scripts waiting for you. Highly recommend this pharmacy. read more

Not sure what's up with the negative reviews. I had a great experience with this pharmacy. They called to confirm my information a mere couple of hours after my doctor sent in the prescription. My family and I are so grateful for this pharmacy. We used them exclusively for fertility related medications. Their prices are excellent- I did my research. They were also good at checking my insurance and finding coverage when possible. But their customer service is the best part. They were consistently kind, clear and patient when helping us navigate the labyrinth of fertility medication, dealing with last minute needs, and accommodating whatever we needed. We also live about an hour away in traffic, so we used both their fedex shipping and their private courier. Both methods were reliable and SO helpful. This pharmacy is a hidden gem of the valley. The level of care is insurpassed, i have never received attention so personalized and the professional knowledge so deep from any of the big pharmacies that i always used to go to. It was originally recommended to me for their low prices but it turned out to be a lot more than a budget destination . Familiy owned and operated it feels that you are part pf the family once you become their customer. Rafi, the parmacist, Karen , Mariam and oher people on staff are the top notch medical professionals with the hearts of gold. I was there for family member's very complicated prescription where the insurance approval takes months and the patience they took carr of it had really eased the pain of the process - multiple phone calls to doctors, family and letters to the insurance were taken care of with the smile. I feel so mad with Northridge and am also regretted I have been their customer. They have very early delivery cutoff time. I called in before 4PM and requested trigger drug for the next day. They said I need to pay around 50 dollars delivery fee for the next day delivery. And there is no waive for that. ---- I started my cycles three years ago and ordered all my medications (for 4 cycles) from them.They have made thousands of dollars from you, but they still want more from you for their stupid early cutoff time. read more

I was charged more than $400 for a bottle of estradiol when the same med is on the $4 medication list for Walmart. Staff is unfriendly, impatient, argumentative, and (sadly) not terribly bright. I spoke with Suzanna yesterday who apparently didn't provide all the information to me that she should have. But she lied to her supervisor Miriam in order to keep herself out of trouble. As a result, my meds arrived late. Had I not asked for confirmation, they would have been shipped to the wrong address. Further, they are incredibly cheap, asking me if they could keep the extra liquids associated with my meds (which would require them to open sealed medicine boxes). Why on earth would they need that? They're also counting every supporting item (syringes, etc), ensuring that they don't give me one extra of anything (it's typically $3 a bundle - why are we counting pennies??). I don't care that they are less expensive. From now on I'll choose a different pharmacy - one with competent and friendly staff! Medicine and health are way too important to take a chance with people like this. I must say though, after all my complaining, that I do appreciate the free shipping. BUT, I think a local $4000 refrigerated order deserves free overnight shipping or free courier service. read more

First of all, I went for an interview here, and as I walked in, the staff was SO RUDE. They were looking me up and down, and giving me negative energy. When I Told the young lady I was here to see Raffi (the owner of the pharmacy and pharmacist) she gave me weird looks and then went and whispered something to Raffi. I currently work at a pharmacy, and even though it is a retail pharmacy, we do NOT treat or look at people in the way this "employee" was looking at me (POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE)!!!! (gave me a bad impression of the pharmacy in 2.5 seconds). Anyways, As I was being interviewed, the pharmacist, Raffi, was asking me questions that had nothing to do with what I can bring to his team and my qualifications as an employee. Trust me, I could care less if I got the job, in fact, halfway through the interview, i was so disgusted of them that I wanted to get up and leave. He does not care for his patients what so ever, he just cares for NUMBERS AKA MONEY $$$. He kept asking me how many employees work at my pharmacy, how much we MAKE per day?, and how many prescriptions we fill a day. Are you kidding me? I came all the way there for you to ask me stats on how the pharmacy i currently work at is doing? Oh, no.... That looks so bad. Then he asks me to name the 20 top selling drugs at MY pharmacy. Like, are you joking right now? I wanted to dismiss myself from the interview. To top it all off, he tells me its unbelievable how he posted this job posting and the next day they had 70 people apply to the position. Let me make something clear. That does not mean that people are dying to work for you, it simply means they are dying to get a job :) Get it right ! And that is definitely not something you need to tell someone that wanted to potentially work for you. As advice from me to "Northridge Plaza Pharmacy" hire people that smile more, make you look better, and get the job done right and in precise manner. Have a good day ! read more
