Unfortunately, MTC was the highest bidder (by far) so I really had to go with a more economical choice. Found a small, local company with a great arborist who bid well under 1/2 what MTC was asking. So, if you are price conscious you might want to look at obtaining several quotes. If your prime objective is great service from staff and a great outcome from the crew who does the work, I'm sure you will be happy with these guys. Beyond…read morethe great skills he possesses, he is a man of his word, a pleasant, polite person to deal with. He responded to my email quickly. Corresponded with me through texts including giving me a quote for the job which I found to be a great value. He arrived on time and safely cut down and removed a 30-foot-tall tree in the front yard and he and his son cleaned up the lawn, sidewalk, and street. No mess at all left behind. On the second job two weeks later, he came alone, followed my request to trim off the lower branches of four large trees in the back yard. There were a LOT of branches! These would surely be on the lawn in the next ice storm! And just like last time, these branches don't rebound. This was disaster prevention. He hauled away all the branches off the lawn, then raked the entire length of the 63 feet long by 8 feet deep bed underneath the trees! I did NOT expect that kind of cleanup! I haven't seen that bed so clean in years! He used a blower and cleared the driveway, sidewalk and street of anything that fell during the removal. Brad was able to do the work with his Team of 8 guys in 2 days. The local tree service companies had me on the schedule and the earliest they could do the removals was 60 days from the time if their quote. My wife and I are extremely pleased in the work performed by Beez Tree Service and with Brad and his team. The story: We had several local tree companies come by to check out our tree and give us an estimate for removal. Most said it was too high-risk to climb, and we'd have to temporarily move our carport and part of our fence to get the right equipment in, so they wouldn't even quote us. The one quote we did get was steep. Finally, someone recommended Beez Treez to my husband and we gave them a call figuring it couldn't hurt to try. Brad came by, said the tree was no problem and a quick job, gave us a much more reasonable quote, and we scheduled with them for the tree removal the following day. Brad was up in the tree for no more than 20-30 minutes, tops. Total pro, got the job done quick, and worked really well with the guys on the ground. The remaining job was spent on cleanup - chipping smaller limbs on site, picking up any debris that had fallen, etc. They were in and out in under an hour and a half and left our yard nice and clean. We can't recommend them highly enough.
