Posh bagel is a cute little gem hidden away in an odd part of the plaza, but a gem nonetheless. I came in just to try their Thai Iced tea and ended up getting a couple bagels. Iced tea is perfect, not overly sweet and doesn't have the long lasting bitterness some tea places have. Perfect pearl ratio and the cups are too cute! I got a pizza bagel and a cinnamon raisin one with cream cheese. Pizza bagel has an amazing flavor, cooked to perfection! Cinnamon raisin was yummy too, a sweet dessert really. Service is awesome and quick too! When I wanted my bagel a little more cooked there was no issues at all, she even took a new bagel and started all over again. I made the mistake of going to the Cottonhouse for a bagel, and came here afterwords starving from my mistake. Will be here again very soon!! read more

Walked in wanting a bagel,.but to my.surprise they were already closing at 5:30 seems really early so the lady said she had turned everything off so the only thing she could offer me was a boba tea which made me happy! I had no idea there was a place that sold boba tea on mchenry ave. The Taro tea was very good, better than the tea sold at the mall foodcourt. I'm a big fan of this new establishment. For various reasons. Foremost, it's nice to finally have a good ol' comforting bagel (and boba and coffee) place in town again. First, the bagels: There's a great variety of bagels, cream cheeses, and bagel sandwiches. My only complaint is that the salmon cream cheese could be a smidge more salmon-y, but I'm just picky when it comes to salmon cream cheese. In my opinion it's not the same salmon cream cheese that the south bay Posh Bagels sell. Oh well. Overall, the bagels and selection are good. Next, the boba. It is good, legit boba! With a large menu ready for customizations. Black tea, jasmine tea, juice, low sugar, boba, jellies, smoothies, etc. They know how to make it like you like it. When you take a sip, you almost forget you're in Modesto (jk - We love Modesto). My only complaint is that you can't get it unsweetened. Sad about that. Thirdly, if boba's not your thing, they have a good selection of other drinks and good coffee, as well. Besides filling my cravings for salmon cream cheese and boba, there's another reason I've become such a fan. The people that run Posh Bagel are just soooooo nice and hospitable. The lady who's usually at the front counter is soooo nice. And I always appreciate the guy who lets me sneak in at 5:05 (they close at 5:00, unfortunately) to get some early evening boba. Thank you! Tired, hungry and dazed after hours of holding my mom's hand in the hospital following a stroke. I stumble upon Posh Bagels. A small mom and pop shop behind Sketcher's shoe outlet on McHenry. I had a mango bubble tea that was sweet and slushy along with a white pizza bagel which was toasty, garlicky and cheesy. Comfort food to the max! My wife and I visit this place 2 or three times a week. Since the owner has been gone the quality of food has gone down hill. I took it back because I couldn't justify eating something I should have gotten at a grocery store for $2. The staff seems friendly enough, they had a decent assortment of foods but I would never go there again. I am giving Posh Bagel a FIVE STAR not only, because of how amazing their bagels were, but because of how friendly everybody was. The two girls that were working there were so patient with me (given that it was my first time there and had a million questions) she gave me her recommendations and was very helpful. I had the chicken bacon ranch in a pesto bagel and I told them to add some of their chipotle sauce, oh my LORD it was fire the pesto bagel went great with the CBR sandwich, you guys need to ask for some chipotle sauce also it just went perfectly all together. To drink I had the black tea (coconut w/black pearls) it was perfect. I love coconut and I loved that it wasn't extremely sweet, and for our sweet bagel I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and Nutella, man oh man you guys!!! The best, the bagel was so soft and it was warm it was perfect! I am a very picky eater and this placed delivered. Been here a few times now. I've tried a few different kinds of sandwiches and bubble tea. Let me tell you all are amazing! The customer service were always welcoming. Even with the good amount of customers there. Here's the foods: pizza bagel with pepperoni- everything that I should expect from a pizza bagel. The bagels were fresh and hot out the oven. Perfect amount of cheese and sauce. The pepperoni did the job well. It was great! Breakfast sandwich with meat- so I chose a croissant with this. Ham was my meat choice. The croissants were very delicate, buttery and fresh. Toasted to perfection. The egg was good. Sub Club- this was absolutely delicious. I chose the dried tomato bagel with this. I can really taste the tomato flavor in the bagel. All of the vegetables in there were really fresh. With the turkey everything just compliments each other. Sad that they did away with the old loyalty rewards. I always bought bagels with cream cheese here, but now you only get a stamp if you buy a bagel sandwich. The girl, which I assume is a manager or owner, was giving me a bit of a hard time for my last signature after announcing the change, and was hesitant on giving me my 10th bagel free. Won't be coming back. Very disappointed. Also, the Danishes are $2.50. She told the girl at the register that they're the same price as the bagels with cream cheese, which are $3.50, so yeah, she stole some of my money too. Yeah, I'm petty with this. I wish I could put into words how much we LOVE Posh Bagel. For starters, we order almost every week. Sometimes more... The food is incredible and customer service is wonderful! A couple of months back, GrubHub never showed up to get my order so Posh told me call GrubHub and cancel my order. Then she said to place my order through DoorDash and order the cheapest thing. She'd know it was me and put my original order together, on the house! Posh Bagel comp'd my order even though it wasn't even their fault! Our favorite items are the Bagel and Lox (I lived in NY for 6 years and it's the best I've found, here on the west coast), cinnamon bagel with honey cream cheese, the Denver Bagel and the Eggwich Deluxe (spinach, mushroom and ham) on a croissant, add cream cheese. Their smoothies are yummy and so fresh. The Jasmine Milk Bubble Tea is something I crave. Like, every day. We've ordered lunch from them before as well and have also enjoyed everything we've we've tried thus far... but we're hooked on their breakfast and can't order them twice a day... Or can we?? While i was waiting several people came in behind me and beacuse i was NOT standig were the order here sign was the person did not help me he proceeded to help the person that came in behind me. I just went in there in order to jalapeno and cream cheese bagel. prior to me getting in there somebody else had ordered a chocolate chip bagel and they received a jalapeno and cream cheese. they took back the jalapeno and cream cheese bagel from the customer that was sitting on his table and try to give it to me as a fresh cooked bagel. I called them on it and told them that they lied to me and they made me a fresh bagel after trying to push off somebody else's food that was already on their table it was cold and the cream cheese was already hard it had been sitting out so long.
