Trinity is AMAZING!!!! I went in wanting a SNSdip manicure and I'm so glad she suggested I try the gel instead. I have beautiful long naturally oval shaped nails, and Trinity explained both pros and cons of SNS Dip and Gel.. she explained all my options and waited patiently for me to come to a decision... I really appreciated that being most nails salons don't even ask what I want, they just ignore my request and implement their own. I will be seeing her again as she is the best I've come across since moving to Ballantyne. Ask for the Virginia nails . Prior to meeting trinity, I've come to the conclusion that most Charlotte nails salon were the same.. dull and sub par quality ... Will I be back? No. Too many other nail places to try to find the right one. Manicurist? Maria I think. Very nice young lady. Manicure was poorly filed. I asked for rounded. She attempted to do square which was a mess. I told her post pedi that I did not want my manicure done in the pedicure chair. She did it anyway. Cuticles not cleaned up well enough because it was a rush job. Someone was waiting. Pedicure - Good but my left big toe only had half a second coat so I walked around with my toe looking only half done. read more

After having an all together bad experience getting a full acrylics done, I went to Trinity for help! My nails looked awful. Most of them had detached and fallen out and I was questioning wether I should continue getting my nails done. I must admit, I was a handful since I was so nervous to have another botched job. But I had no reason to be nervous, Trinity is amazing! First of all, she is so sweet and very customer oriented. She patiently waited for me to change my mind again and again about color and style. With her help, I was able to choose what I wanted. Second, she did something that not all nail technicians do! After applying the acrylic and shaping the nails, she asked me to look at my nails, make sure I was happy with it and if I saw something not to my liking, to let her know. All the technicians I have seen get mad at me if I point out minor errors, it felt nice to know she wanted to ensure I was 100% satisfied with her work. Third, my nails looked great!! Trinity is so detail oriented and made sure they looked on point before I left. Overall this was a 10 star experience! I highly recommend Serenity Salon and Spa **I'm sharing pics of my nails after Trinity was done and my nails now; 2 weeks later they still look great! read more

I called Trinity Dec 26 if she would be willing to do a quick wax before I left for vacation. I had been calling around for a last minute scheduling and she had the most competitive prices. I usually go to European Wax Center but the next time I'm in NC I will be going to her. Trinity is so meticulous and very detail-oriented. She made sure I was symmetrical and every hair was gone! It was such a great experience and she knows the best techniques to make it as painless as possible. She is also very sweet and patient, even though they had working men over for renovations she made sure I was comfortable. I got a bikini with a butt strip, tummy strip, and underarm wax. If I had gone to European Wax Center I would have only been able to afford the bikini. Everybody is different but my underarms still have very little hair just starting to grow back (current date is Feb 1st). I highly recommend this place. read more

It offers services for hair, nails, waxing and eyelash extensions. I had a manicure and pedicure. I didn't have an appointment so Trinity did 1/2 of the manicure and Sarah completed my services. This place is a joke I have the BCP card from working in Ballantyne and sent my girlfriend over for 25% your first visit. She was getting 4 services done, after driving 30 min they told her the offer is only for hair cuts, NOWHERE did it state haircuts only. I stopped by to go talk to them and they were very rude and inconsiderate. I will NEVER do business here. They do not know how to treat a customer correctly. DO JOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I stopped in here on a whim as I needed a haircut badly, and quickly. I checked the reviews before going in, and beside the great reviews, I saw haircuts at $25! Trinity (and her 2 lovely young daughters) greeted me warmly. She told me about a pedicure special and both together would cost $60. I was sold since I was expecting a hair cut to be around that much anyway. It was a Tuesday afternoon I believe, and other than a happy customer who just had her eyelashes done, I was the only customer for a bit. It made for a very relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. Best pedicure I've ever had. I didn't get much more than a trim, but Trinity made sure to listen to what I wanted and did not want. I would highly recommend this Salon for anyone. read more

Stopped in for a manicure pedicure based on the Yelp reviews and I was very pleased. They offer 25% off your first service with them on Yelp. They had a special which was cheaper that day so it was $30. The two women there were very sweet and personable and also helped me choose the perfect colors for my nails. Highly recommend these sweet ladies and I loved that I could book online even last minute. They also have a hair salon if you need those services as well. read more

I showed her pictures of a haircut that I wanted to get and I figured she got the point. But she didn't, she isn't that knowledgable about what kind of hairstyles work with what face shapes. Her goal is to rip you off and I say that because she said the hair wash and blow dry was included in the $35 price but she never washed my hair and didn't give me a first timer discount either even though it says on her brochure that the salon does. And I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the worst haircut I have ever gotten and the worst rip off ever. She basically took $35 for a basic trim and the hairstyle overall turned out terrible. Never coming back here again and wouldn't recommend this place for haircuts. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR CUT HERE!!! I was looking for a specific length but she ended up cutting my hair above my shoulders, despite having shown her a picture of the hairstyle. I am absolutely outraged. I am sure they are better at doing nails and waxing, but do not get your hair cut here. The layers are uneven and it is just a mess. I would give this service 0 stars if I could. There was 0 attention to detail. I will be going to another hair place to fix the mess she has made. read more
