I hate writing this review, after years of coming in under the prior and current ownership. Pedis are great but I strongly suggest not using them for lip and chin waxes. I've gone about once a month or so over the year and never had a problem til last Sun. I ended up with burns on the top of my lip, side of my chin and underneath. I just left from returning to let them see what had happened; first, since it had never happened before, I wanted to let them know so they could check the heat or whatever makes the wax work. I also thought there might be a credit or a gift card for future pedis, some kind of acknowledgement and encouragement to return. All the staff said they didn't know how to do anything, and the staff member who did the wax tried to give me more of the gel she used the other day. Sad to cross Posh off my list entirely. read more

I've been to a lot of different nail salons all over the country, and I really just had one of the best gel manicures in a long time! I got a regular gel manicure and added paraffin wax at the end. I didn't catch the woman's name who did my manicure, but she took her time, was very gentle, and overall amazing. I appreciate the thorough effort to make sure my nails turned out perfect. I called a few hours early so I could make sure my mother and I could both get our manis and pedis done at the same time, on mother's day. I made sure to ask that all four services were done at the same time, and the person who answered the phone told me if I came in a little later they could do so. I was super excited to treat my mom as well as getting my nails done because it had been a long time. Our pedicures were both started at the same time, but no one came to do our nails. After being there for about 45 minutes, someone came to start my mom's nails, while I was still waiting. I was getting antsy and asked for nail file to take off what I currently had on because we were waiting so long and had a dinner reservation four hours after our appointment time. Well, I waited another 35 minutes and still no one had come to do my nails. Finally I said I'm leaving just put clear coat on. My nails look horrible because the gel was removed and they are so damaged. I would stay far away from this place if you are in a time crunch or just value your time in general, and know that appointments means absolutely nothing to them. I will never return. There are better places to get Gel X in Buckhead that actually respect your time. Additionally, during my pedicure, I asked repeatedly for the woman to stop cutting/picking at my cuticles because I am prone to ingrown toenails, and she did not listen, even after I asked three times and finally said STOP! She was still picking at them. Now I need to make an appointment to get my nails done elsewhere, as well as go to the podiatrist to fix whatever they did to my toenails. It's been over 8 years since I've seen & got serviced by the Amazing Angel. I got pampered per usual. Although she's with a new salon, the same luxe client service is present. Angel's normal yet special touches always makes my appointment better. Other Posh's services include Lashes, Skincare, Waxing and retail products. Prices are very good, especially for the area. My service was great in which the owner took her time and care with me as I was pampered. As a result of me checking in I was awarded a discount on their infamous European Facials. The day I arrived for my facial they were a little backed up because of a customer arriving late to her appointment. I was bothered by this because I was on a time constraint and it really seemed as if they didn't have my name on the schedule. When making your appointment, make sure they confirm they have written your name down. During my 15 minute wait I did treat myself to a re-polish on my nails and toes and discovered a hott color by Essie which I now love, Vermillionaire. I stopped at Posh Nails for some self care after getting my eyebrows done next door. I asked for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. The woman that I assume owns the place hovered over me and rushed me through picking my color. She also decided to do my manicure while I was receiving my pedicure, pulling both my arms to the left side. She was persistent with PULLING my arm to the point that my right side was sore the following day. She even turned off my massage chair since it was "shaking too much". I was so uncomfortable and shocked that I did not say anything to stop her. She didn't ask what shape I wanted my nails and instead did as she saw fit. The woman that did my pedicure was very nice, but the service was poorly done. I had to ask her to fix my big toe and she was so kind about it, but she let me leave with another smaller toe messed up which again, I was too uncomfortable to bring up after already asking her to fix one. She did not file my nails or shape them at all. Lastly, there was absolutely no music playing inside. I left feeling more tense and anxious than I did walking in. I would not recommend Posh Nails in Buckhead to anybody looking for a relaxing experience. read more

First thing - you're given a menu with various pedicure options at different prices. They are pretty much meaningless - your best bet is just to get the basic pedicure and hopefully get one of the better nail techs. Also - the nail tech I had today was apparently not paying attention when using the grater thing on the calluses on the sides of my big toes. Because she was not only scraping the calluses, but also kept hitting the regular non-callused skin. I about went through the roof when the scraper hit my normal skin - it hurt like hell - and I now have an abrasion on my toe because of this. Plus she was super rough when trimming cuticles - I kept jumping because again - hurt like hell. I kept telling her "that hurts" and tried to explain why - didn't seem to compute - so she just stopped and I still have the calluses despite paying for an upgraded pedicure. Someone with an appointment is understandable but when they continuously and what appears to be purposefully put others in front it is clear they cannot manage. I have never written a negative review in my 28 years of life, however I feel inclined to do so now. For many years, I religiously got acrylic powder fill-ins monthly at an amazing nail salon. Due to a tightened budget, I decided to keep my nails natural for the last 2 years. With a big upcoming event this past weekend, I decided to spoil myself and try SNS. On Friday (5 days ago), I chose not to travel the 15 extra minutes further from home to my previous nail salon, but instead try somewhere new and close to work, Posh Nails Spa. I was happy with my nails upon leaving and I spent $50 plus a $10 tip. However, after only 2 days (Monday) I had 1 cracking thumbnail and 1 chipped tip pointer finger (natural nail still strong underneath) on opposite hands. I was traveling and did not return until Monday evening. During work on Tuesday the tip of my ring finger also chipped off the same hand as the chipped pointer. That is 3 chipped/cracked nails within 4 days! After work today, I went back and showed them. They asked me who had done my nails originally and had me look around and point her out. A young man came over and started to help 'fix' the broken nails. I expressed multiple times that I did not just want the broken ones fixed, because I feared the others would also break every following day. This was ignored and I was hushed (he put his pointer finger up to his lips to shush me). Then (I believe the owner) came and took over for the young man. I told him the previous lady had used a white base under the glittery white color I'd chosen. He ignored this and put a natural clear base under the 'fixed' nails. This has caused the 'fixed' nails to be a noticeably lighter and more translucent white color. When I pointed this out, the older man told me it was because the other nails were a couple days older. This is when I chose to give up and write this review. He then also cut the cuticle underneath my nail with the buffer file. I flinched, but he didn't flip my nail over to even check if I was hurt or bleeding so I noticed this on my way out. When I left, he told me 'If more break in the next days, come back'. I will never step foot in their nails 'spa' again. The moral of this: Don't waste your money at Posh Nails Spa And always choose Quality Over Convenience read more

Let me begin by saying that I never write reviews, however, my experience here was awful and management did not seem to care at all, which is the reason I am writing this now. I just moved to the area and was looking for a new nail salon, however, let me explain that I will not return to this salon. I have to say that I agree with the other reviewer who stated that they can not do acrylics and I too was left with "goblin" nails. When the woman first cut down my nails for shape they were on the shorter side, however by the time they were completed there was barely any tip left on my nail. Had I known she was going to still continue to shorten them even more I would have said something. Typically the length you agree upon is roughly what you get however what I was left with wasn't even close. They were also crooked and while I had someone else finish painting my nails, she began filing them more than usual as she likely noticed they were crooked and uneven. I was unhappy with them as I left, but thought I would deal with it while they grew out for a few weeks. However, after sending pics to my friends they too remarked at how awful my nails looked. If I had wanted tips why would the tech file them down until there was almost nothing there, what was the point of even paying for that. I turned around and walked back into the store to express my discontent with the manager. It was the same man who originally scheduled my appointment and I should've known better than to come here when I had to keep explaining to him that I wanted gel powder with gel polish. I informed him that I was not happy and they were much too short and completely uneven. He asked why I didn't say something and I discussed that I didn't know they would be completely filed down once everything was completed and after the powder was put on and he said he didn't see anything wrong with them but did agree they were too short. He asked what I wanted to do about it and I asked what could be done and he just shrugged and said nothing really, no offer to fix it or somehow make anything better and after years in customer service this is completely unacceptable. So I walked out and said I wouldn't be coming back here. All in all, I was extremely disappointed in my experience here and will not be recommending this place and I should have looked through the yelp reviews better before coming here, as I went out of convenience. Needless to say, I immediately went to one of the salons that is much higher rated in the area to have them fixed and now my nails look as they should have to begin with. read more

I honestly downloaded the yelp app solely to write this review because my experience at Posh was so so poor. It's not a horrible nail salon but they truly have no idea how to do acrylic AT ALL. When I came back in to fix the horrendous job they had done I heard the owners fighting in the back arguing that they HAD done a good job. Honestly my nails looked like goblin nails before and now they just look a slightly more glamorous version of goblin nails. I am so disappointed in this salon and will not be going back. read more
