When I initially joined, the customer service, communication, scheduling, and quality were consistent and professional. Recently, however, all of those areas have declined. Scheduling has been repeatedly overlapped at multiple locations. I was made to feel uncomfortable to the point that I chose to drive 30 minutes to another location instead of the one only 10 minutes away--only to experience the same overlapping scheduling issue again, despite booking my appointment 2.5 weeks in advance. Overall, my experiences with Milan have historically been very positive. While there were some recent changes that impacted my experience, my visit to the Irving location and my conversation with Brittany from the Resolution Team reaffirmed the high level of quality and customer service I've come to expect. This particular location did not reflect the consistency I've experienced in the past; however, the Irving team demonstrated that the standard of care and professionalism is still very much present. I would recommend Milan, as the consistency and quality remain strong.

A VERY BIZARRE ENCOUNTER:…read more I had a consultation yesterday and arrived 10 minutes earlier. When I arrived the owner was sunk down into the seat at her desk which startled me. She told me to come on back into her work area and I immediately noticed how slurred her language was and how she looked as though she might fall over at any time. She asked if I'd filled out a questionnaire and then glanced over it extremely fast. Finally, she told me "looks like you're fairly healthy. You're good." It didn't feel thorough at all. She then started pointing at the diagram to explain the electrolysis process and I could not understand half of the things she was saying. I finally asked her if she was ok and she made a comment that she'd taken a nap. To be honest, it did not look at all like a nap. It looked like she was either sick or had taken drugs or drank too much. She was clearly out of sorts. At one point she sat down and could barely sit upright so she leaned over the electrolysis bed while talking. It felt like I was watching someone in "The Hangover". I have never experienced this at a place of business and felt I needed to write a review because I do not feel it is safe for her to be administering electrolysis while in whatever state she is in. If her words are as slurred as they are, I can only imagine how unsafe her work will be.

I'm a pretty picky and OCD person when it comes to nails. I've been seeing Michelle for over 4…read moreyears. She is by far the best nails tech I have ever met. I usually get pink and white (acrylics or gel) when I go to her and it's always even and each nail is a mirror image of the other hand. She checked them while she works which is a big plus. Now, if you get your nails done as regular as I do, you know how difficult it is to get an appointment at any nail place and mind you we ALL have busy schedules. Well, Michelle works 6 days a week and makes time for me even with my hectic schedule. I will admit there are times when I went elsewhere to get my nails done (out of convenience). I would compare their work on my nails to what Michelle would have done and was always disappointed. I always came back to her. I get compliments from my family, friends and co-workers all the time and am happy to refer them. With the little nails beds I have, she makes them look beautiful, which makes me happy.
