Terry is a master when it comes to his cutting technique. I've always had thick coarse hair that can get really heavy and shapeless. Terry has a way of cutting and thinning it out so that it lays smooth and creates a natural framing style for my face. It almost changes my texture as my hair has a tendency to fall into these beachy style waves, unless I blow dry it straight. Before those waves would be half straight/half wavy due to the weight of my hair. For my thick hair girls, I highly advise to try a Japanese hair cut once in your life and see if it has you coming back. Be sure to bring an inspirational photo to help show what you are looking for. Terry did a wonderful job with my haircut! I haven't gone to a salon in YEARS and after a lot of searching decided to go here. Prices were very reasonable in my opinion. I only got a cut and it was around $60. The place is very easy to find and he works in a little suite. I showed Terry my inspiration picture and he executed it perfectly! He did go a little shorter than I originally intended but I still loved the cut regardless. Was super gentle when washing my hair. We didn't really converse during my session but I didn't mind since I can tell he was concentrated on his work. I cannot believe his precision and details analyzing your hair texture, structure and giving his honest opinion which hair cut would suit you the best and still trying to incorporate your idea if a good hair cut. I came in asking him to cut almost like 2-3 inches of my hair length and since I have thick asian hair not to thin it out too much on the bottom. Because if done wrong I can look like a mushroom head too much volume on the top and too many layers on the bottom. Terry gave me the perfect shoulder length cut and I can't believe how he made my hair look so soft and straight without even using a hair straightener! He is very skilled this man! Terry is a miracle worker. He was able to transform my previously untouched black Asian hair to this beautiful ash color with such complexity in a matter of hours and all in one session for a fantastic price. He really knows what he's doing and is such a perfectionist. We didn't finish my hair until 10pm at night and he never rushed the process once, including blow drying and styling my hair at the end.
