Came for a hubby quick hair cut after shopping. Very affordable price. We were greeted and offered a little steamed bun as we waited for our turn. Happy with the cut and the visit overall. Will definitely come back.

I came to this salon to do hair cut and got suggested to do perm so I agreed to do that after I showed the picture what I want was C perm. One of the lady with her confidence said she could do that. But unfortunately she couldn't do it and I'm so DISAPPOINTED. She said that C perm on the picture I showed was styling by flat iron not from the C perm process. I did korean C perm in my country Indonesia by korean salon and was so happy with the result and I don't need to use the flat iron cause the hair stayed C perm style on the bottom hair till I cut cause was too long. You should say the truth to your customers that you can't do it if you can't. Just because the money you make customers don't trust your salon

There's plenty of hair salons nearby, but I decided to give this a try because of their pricing. My previous hairstylist is charging me $80 for a simple woman's cut not including a wash or dry and here that was only $30. Slipped in around 7pm on a weekday and there was no one there and they took me as a walk-in! I was greeted immediately to ask what services I needed. I have short hair and they strongly recommended the $5 shampoo and quoted a reasonable hair cut price that matched their advertisement. It was $5 more because a master level hairdresser was there. The hairdresser was quick, thorough, and used a photo I provided. It was about what I expected and had the layers I wanted. I was happy with my cut! It was styled well and quickly - he also did some extra work afterwards to make the hair pop out more. The total advertised charges must have included the tax because it was a round number. I would go back again. They took credit card and I added a tip on there. Quick, easy, and out in under an hour. read more

Was ignored by all the stylist when trying to get a haircut. When they finally took me to the chair, they tried to over charge me for my haircut. False advertisement. Never coming back to this place ever again. If you like to get treated poorly, come to this place. read more

I was recommended Olive Hair Salon through friends of a friend and am so glad I trusted them! Although I didn't speak Korean and was a little nervous going for something a bit different than usual, Jessica was so nice and looked at the pictures I saved for what I was considering. She did a head massage when shampooing, which felt relaxing. It was clear she had different and great techniques compared to other non-Asian salons, and she knew what to do with my Asian hair. AND it is also much more cost-effective/budget-friendly than most DFW salons. I love how my haircut turned out and can't wait to go back next time. read more

Tried Olive Hair Salon for the first time. Was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the cut. Always had to pay $50+ to get a decent cut but I get a better haircut here for a more affordable price. Would recommend 10/10. Will be returning regularly. read more

I had such a lovely experience at Olive Hair Salon. Stopped by during Christmas break and Jessica, the hairdresser, was just about to get done with another customer. She politely told me to sit down to wait while she finishes up with the customer. She then ask me for my bag so she can put it in the locker so it's out of my way. She washed my hair thoroughly with the best smelling shampoo and even massaged my scalp. What a very pleasant and relaxing experience! I showed her pictures for inspiration and she executed it perfectly! I wanted straight cut with just a little bit of layers. When she got done cutting, she straightened and styled my hair. From the very first phone call to make my hair appointment, I knew I can trust my hair to this salon... Jessica was very kind and hospitable the way she answered the phone and she did such an awesome job giving me the best short bob haircut! I wanted a bob haircut for awhile and i showed her a few pinterest pictures of how i wanted the hair to look and she executed beautifully. I randomly walked by this salon while eating at HMart food court. The service was phenomenal. Jessica and Jia were super nice to my kids and I. Went for the convenience of getting a trim while your family gets their snack ( thaw salon is right next to the food court) and later questioned my life choices. I waited almost an hour. I had to tell them the rollers were too hot. I had to tell them the timer went off. Unsurprisingly, my hair was fried. At the end, I was told to go with the wet hair so that the curls would stay. It doesn't look remotely like the picture I showed. I understand the hair in the picture was styled with a lot of products, but my curls looked like I did it myself. I am never going again. I need to remember that.

Honey was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to educate me about my nails and explain the different services they offer, which I genuinely appreciated. My technician, Tia, started my appointment right on time. She was quiet but checked in with me to make sure she understood what I wanted. While the service itself wasn't bad, there wasn't anything that stood out. At other salons I've visited, the experience typically ends with small finishing touches--like applying lotion or a brief hand massage--but this service felt very basic. I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. Since my nails were completely dry when I departed, I believe those issues should have been caught before the service was finished. For me, the overall experience wasn't worth the drive or the price I paid. The video of my nails tells the story better than this caption ever could. That said, based on my interaction with Honey, I genuinely believe booking with her could result in a different experience. She made a great first impression, and if I were to return, I would specifically request an appointment with her.

I showed the owner a picture of what I wanted the curls and the hairstyle to look like. I always thought it was our responsibility to tell the hairstylist instead of let them improvise. I waited almost an hour. I had to tell them the rollers were too hot. I had to tell them the timer went off. Unsurprisingly, my hair was fried. At the end, I was told to go with the wet hair so that the curls would stay. It doesn't look remotely like the picture I showed. I understand the hair in the picture was styled with a lot of products, but my curls looked like I did it myself. I am never going again. I need to remember that.
