Stopped for lunch here on our way to Cincy. Looks like it is an active gathering place in the evenings and week-ends. It was quiet in the middle of the day. Hubby had the chicken wrap with onion rings. I had a bowl of their chili. The taste was great on both. The rings were fried to perfection. My chili was not quite hot enough, but our very friendly and efficient server graciously took it back and brought back a nice hot bowl of chili for me. Traveling on our way back and forth on I-80, time at stops is important. This was a great quick, convenient stop with good food and good service. Definitely recommend. read more

I have been so excited to try this place with the family. The building and inside are so unique and I love the post office theme! Unfortunately, that's where the positive part ends. The food was nothing to write home about. My aunt's burger was raw too when she asked for well done and when she told the waitress, she just said oh, okay. And proceeded to keep the check the same. And to top it off, she took 15-20 minutes to take the check after it was clear we were done - as our plates were piled up at the end of the table. Had a rough experience and don't plan to go back. Still a spot on pub offering great food if you ask me. I've had nearly everything they offer on the menu by now after coming here for the last few years. Their fish sandwich is delicious and it's offered deep fried in either Panko or beer batter. The wings are crispy and I recommend the Postage sauce. Beer is cold and atmosphere is fun. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon; we were sat quickly and had our orders taken rather quickly as well. staff was great, ver pleasant and helpful. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of onion rings and we had an appetizer of the pub chips. I LOVE potatoes so I was very pleased with the pub chips.also, HUGE fan of the onions as well. I'd absolutely get the sand icy again but with a side of sauce. My only disappointment was I thought it might be a renovated post office. The interior is bright and inviting, there is one table a nook that has a living room feel. Golf cart and motorcycle only parking spaces are available. There is a nice back patio. The menu has lots of bourbon/whiskey inspired choices, so decided to get the Cobb salad with 6 wings in the Jameson bbq sauce. I also go the post office sauce for dipping. The combination of the two sauces played well with each other one is sweet and the other is a creamy spicy ranch sauce. The wings aren't breaded, they are not giant, but they were cooked so the skin has a little crispy crunch which I love. Cobb salad was large and fresh! Not a full cobb without ham and turkey but lots of bacon. Staff was very friendly. I can't wait till restaurant no longer have to show chicken wings as "market price"'on menus, why has our government come down on big chicken for charging exorbitant prices and making record profits. The bill shows the 3% debit/credit card fee and is charged to the customer. The customer has always been paying for this, but I'm not sure if most people know how much, now you can see it. read more

This was my first time here for dinner. The restaurant was highly rated on Yelp as I recall #2. It is first come, first serve. When we arrived we were immediately seated at a table for 4 near the garage door opening into another separate bar area for the more casual diners. Our table and the adjacent table were getting a breeze through the garage door, therefore, the staff closed the garage door. I started with their mailbox margarita, a post office favorite made with Patron Silver tequila and fresh lime juice for $8. It was average. It did not taste strong enough. I ended my dinner with their local draft stout. We arrived on a Wednesday, when they offer $2 off wraps. Brandy 8 recommended their spicy Korean pork wrap with slow roasted pork, shredded carrots, cilantro, cucumber and toasted sesame dressing for $11 less $2 or $9 after discount. I upgraded my wrap's side to sweet potato fries for an additional charge. My wrap was not so spicy and was average at best. The sweet potato fries were also average. I would not recommend this wrap or the sweet potato fries. My total bill was $59 less gratuities. Brandy 8 was very friendly and nicely accommodated our table needs. read more

We decided to have a quick date night after a long week. We came in and the place was pretty busy. We sat outside and they had those amazing porch heaters. Of course I sat right next to it and happily baked since it's starting to get chilly outside. We both decided on the fish. I got the panko and hubby got the beer battered. It comes with a side salad so we upgraded to the berry salad. Delicious! The food came out quickly and our server was right on top of getting us everything we needed. Both fish plates were delicious. The fries are real potato fries, not the frozen ones. I'm not a big coleslaw fan but there's was pretty good. It was a lot of food so we took the excess to go. We split a slice of cheesecake with berries on top. Hubby tried to grab a chunk that fell off my fork and almost got his hand stabbed. The owner came around to each table making sure everyone was happy and satisfied. He didn't just rush off, he actually talked with us for a few minutes. We'll definitely return. Best part about this place is the building. Cool atmosphere. Typical boring bar food. None of our food had any flavor Garlic Parmesan wings-terrible. The wings were sitting in plain butter and some minced garlic. No seasoning, no Parmesan. Hot peppers in oil-this is a Youngstown staple. They come out drenched in oil, cubanelles. ZERO seasoning, ZERO garlic. Terrible. Grilled chicken wrap was mediocre. Our waitress sitting at a few tables over eating her food. I've worked food service, that's a big no no. Your customers don't want to watch you eat while they're waiting for theirs. Maybe if they seasoned the food it would be a little better. This is my only one star review I ever gave. The reason is there was a chunk of broken glass in my husbands salad. Thank goodness he found it before biting into it or swallowing. No credit or discount given for a piece of broken glass-absolutely nothing! I selected this place over the many chain restaurants in the area -trying to support a small business. As the food goes-average hamburger and fish was not bad. They do need to learn about customer service -none exists at this place. The wife's patty melt was just ok.Her bread was hard as a rock like it was thrown on a grill without butter or sat on a counter a few days. Her patty came out med-rare, but that certainly is not how she ordered it.Then there wasn't even any thousand island dressing on it. The waitress showed the manager lady, but she didn't have much interest.However, they took the burger off the bill. I could have cared less about the cost, I'd have rather had just anyone look or touch the food and see what they are serving.I don't think anyone cared. The Good, Service was decent & I liked being served by local kids making a few bucks. After leaving, the burger got at 5 Guys was far excellent. Crowded before the football game, parents in one room and kids seated in the back patio area with no supervision. It was out of control. The management should have insisted on adult supervision. 20 kids screaming, jumping up and down, punching the waitress. It was a nightmare. I just spend $85 to have dinner at chuckie cheese.
