This spot had a plethora of TVs both indoor and outdoor which was great for watching any type of sporting event. On our journey home to NY from St Louis made an overnight stop in Youngstown. Found the Post Office Pub was close by our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly, efficient staff and the food and drinks were just what we asked for. Our server , Jake, was attentive and helpful. Gave us the specials for the day and got us our drinks right away. The wings I ordered were great( special of the day) and the chicken wrap my wife ordered was delicious per her assessment. Sat on the porch, guy comes out from the indoor area and lights up a cigarette. There is a no smoking sign posted, did not stop this rube. I ordered the beer battered haddock, it was over cooked and dry. The wife had a burger, she said it wasn't the greatest. read more

We are from Pittsburgh and found this gem while in Youngstown for a baseball tournament. We hit the jackpot! Delicious food, great service, kind & professional servers. Jenna H. waited on us as if we were her family. We had a broccoli wrap, pub chips, onion rings, and a burger with fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. I don't usually complain about restaurants when I go out to eat but my first time at The Post Office Pub was disappointing. My boyfriend and I popped in on a Wednesday night, and we waited almost an hour for our food. We also waited about 10 minutes for one water and one beer. When we received our food, the order was incomplete and cold. read more

First visit. Food was pretty good--cheesesteak tasty, veggie flatbread nice, 1/2 salad was very large. Sat in the bar area and server/bartender was attentive and prompt. Suggest they change or dim the harsh overhead lights to improve the pub feel. Maybe add a divider between the bar area and dining area. Also add some smaller tables that seat less people in the dining area. Nice to see a new business that is well patronized. read more

I ordered broiled fish and it was spoiled. They tried to cover it up with salt, but when it came out, it smelled up the whole restaurant. No one had any business serving that fish. I'm lucky the one bite I choked down didn't make me sick. The waitress was very sweet, she took the fish off the bill, but the manager walked by twice and never said a word. I worked in the service industry for 13 years, this customer service was abhorrent. The margarita I ordered was disgustingly sweet and if there was a shot of tequila in it I'd be really surprised. They sat us at a table by the lottery kiosk, and there was no room around the table for anyone to get by. My husband's wings were not cooked all the way through, and were pink. His beer was warm. There is one bathroom per gender for the entire restaurant and bar. We will never return. read more

Wasn't very impressed. I know they are a newer place and there are kinks to work out. I'm giving 3 stars based on that, but if we ever do make it back I will leave an honest update. The server had been there since they opened and wasn't able to answer simple question about the menu such as what kind of fish in the fish and chips, and she was the bartender. The most important serving role in the restaurant. The food was mediocre at best. The only good thing is fresh cut fries, but I ordered my burger medium and got well and charred, and it was their postage stamp burger, I'm guessing their signature burger. Our served eventually got to drop our food off, and never checked in on us again until we were ready to pay, our drinks were never refilled, and my burger came with bottomless fries and that never happened. Very disappointed in this experience, but again. I'm leaving 3 stars as a hope that the owner can fix these issues and spend less time on the customer side of the bar. read more

We ordered take out for our first visit here, very impressed! Our family of four have different tastes so we were able to sample multiple menu items. Chicken Parmesan was AMAZING! Fish and chips was perfectly done, not greasy and the side of coleslaw was delicious! Burger was made perfectly. The roasted veggie wrap was the best! I was worried our fries would be soggy by to time we got home (this has happed at other places when ordering fries to go) but the unique to go containers kept our food fresh, hot and not soggy! I ordered a chicken wrap as a takeout. It was very delicious. It was ready right on time and made perfectly. I have been meaning to try the place because it is in my neighborhood. Stopped by for lunch-dinner around 4. Monique was our waitress and she was very friendly and engaged. We sat out on the spacious patio. We really enjoyed the postmaster splash cocktails, very tasty. I had the Hot & Spicy burger & onion rings. Burger was juicy and the toppings were fresh, not too insanely hot. The onion rings were probably my favorite thing. They were crispy golden with a perfect tasting homemade batter. The sauce served with them was also really good. Highly recommend stopping here. read more

Went for fried fish on Friday. Nice patio. Our waitress, Hailey, was personable and attentive. Good house wine. Berry salad was iceberg lettuce, but the dressing and blue cheese made it refreshing. Large portion of panko fried fish was tasty. Fair-like fries, but not as greasy. This was a good first experience. Will be back. read more
