Very deceptive. Gave me an estimate which I agreed to. The entire damage was clearly visible. I left my car for the repair and several hours later was called and told I needed an additional part for $835. I said no thank you as they explained that it was not critical only cosmetic. When I picked up my car they had not replaced one of the damaged pieces. I had every reason to believe that the part was in the original estimate. I had the part repaired by another body shop for $215. Also, very high pressure sales tactic to have my rear deck/lid repainted for $1200. Way overpriced. Be careful. read more

I had a major dent in the trunk of my 2020 Taycan Turbo. I was told by a couple of body shops that, since the trunk was made of aluminum, the dent could not be repaired and the entire trunk cover needed to be replaced. The estimates exceeded $5,000. I didn't repair the car and drove with the dent for a couple of years until I found Post Auto. Joe told me that he could, in fact, repair the dent at a fraction of the price I had been quoted from the other shops. He did it in 24 hours and the work was flawless. Last week my car was hit by a young inexperienced driver in Manhattan. I have a 2022 Taete Siena. The damage was to two doors and a rear element on the gas tank side. I recently moved to live in Greenwich, Connecticut. I did not know who repairs cars here, and who can be trusted. I searched for information on the Internet, and was in two workshops. I chose this particular workshop, I first looked at their work and I liked the quality. And it is not unimportant that these were not expensive prices for services. CANNOT recommend this place enough. I snapped my rear view mirror off and called the Honda dealership, who told me I would need to make an appointment to come in just to have them look at it. I just needed my mirror replaced. It's black. It's a Honda Civic. What do they need to look at it? I live here but work in the City and have very little time to spend on car repairs or even simple errands. I called Post Road and they said they had the part in stock and to drop the car off Sunday night, drop the keys in the drop box and they'd call me with an estimate. I approved the very reasonable estimate and in a day or so they had not only replaced the mirror, but touched up the scratches on my door and dropped my car off at the Cos Cob train station so when I came home all I had to do was drive away. Beyond Happy with my using Post Road Auto-body for the repair of our SUV. Joe did an incredible job of helping me to navigate through the entire process from working with the insurance company, the rent a car company, as well as understanding the timetable for ordering parts, repairing and painting. In a nutshell, Joe and Post Road Auto-body made a difficult and somewhat complicated process much simpler and easier to deal with and then returned our vehicle to us in fantastic condition. Although we didn't need it, Joe offered us a rent a car as well at an incredibly low rate during the time period between when our car was damaged and when the insurance company was involved. Our Chevy SUV was in an accident that resulted in the entire driver side having one sizable dent that ran the length of the car. Post Road determined how the repair should be done properly, and was priced competitively with the other two estimates we received. We felt completely comfortable there, the service is quick and efficient. The work took about a week which was in lined with the other estimates. The car looks so good, it's better than we could have hoped for. My husband knows body work as he restored a few sports cars in his younger days and he also was completely impressed by the work. Joe and Chrystalee (a father/daughter team) are absolutely the best, and the rest of the artists, meaning the guys in the back doing the work and painting, are incredible. Joe at Post Road Auto Body really took care of me. I took my car there for a repair from a hit and run. Once I received the quote from my insurance company I took the car straight over. He came out and looked at it personally, looked the quote from the insurance company over and told me to bring the car in the next morning. Unfortunately their supplier sent the wrong parts, but if they hadn't I would have had my bumper and driver side front panel replaced along with the head light assembly in 2 days! I would rate the quality of the work at an A- or an A. The only reason I can't give it an A+ is because there was a tiny imperfection near one of the corners. However, we explained and they were fully aware that it is a work vehicle and I was not looking for perfection in order to keep the cost down (which they did). Very happy.
