I recently brought my Audi Q5 to Pray Body Shop in Stamford, CT to repair damage around the passenger-side front wheel well, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. I originally chose Pray because they are a certified German auto body repair shop with experience working on Audi, but when I got there, I also noticed they were certified for other German manufacturers as well as Tesla and Rivian. That immediately gave me confidence that they know how to handle higher-end vehicles the right way. The customer service was also outstanding. They were kind enough to drive me to Enterprise to pick up my rental car, and they even told me that next time, with a little more notice, they could have the rental ready for me directly at the shop. When I picked up my Audi, I simply left the rental car with them, and they handled getting it back to Enterprise. It made the entire repair process feel smooth and completely frictionless. The repair quality was top notch. It took about two weeks total for them to get the parts and complete the repair, and throughout the process, I felt like they were truly on my side. They explained that they would keep an eye on whether insurance was using OEM parts versus aftermarket parts, and if anything came in that did not meet their quality standards, they would send it back. That level of care and advocacy makes a huge difference. The finished result was incredible. My Audi came back looking exactly how it should -- clean, precise, and professionally repaired. Excellent work. Pray Autobody has been in the same location in Stamford for decades and goes all the way back to when Pray owned many dealerships in Greenwich including Pray Nissan back in the 80s when my father purchased a Nissan Maxima (the first talking car, "Lights are on," "Door is open"), Maxima Wagon and a 300ZX. Now in 2026, they are still there and among others, the only Tesla-recommended autobody in the area. You can bring any car make/model for autobody work but if you own a Tesla that needs autobody work, it's recommended to bring it here, so that's what we did. Got hit on the Merritt Parkway Mother's Day night by a 3rd party livery driver who didn't stop at the stop sign (exit 3 Round Hill Rd entrance ramp) and hit the rear pax tire area with slight damage to rear wheel, fender flare and wheel cover. Oscar was our service advisor who was very pleasant and did a nice job working with the other driver's insurance company. The shop did a beautiful job restoring the damaged area and they also did some very minor paint chip touch ups (from previous wear and tear) and knew to put the car in "Service Mode" while there. When ready for pickup, the car was completely cleaned and detailed (including interior) and had not seen the car look this good since purchasing in 2023. My experience with Pray Body Shop was fabulous. It's a bit of a drive from Southport, but totally worth it! Jonathan looked at the damage, and kindly explained what the repair would entail. He sent an estimate directly, & was happy to answer questions. I dropped off the car, & he called 24 hours later with an update. The next day he said my car would be at the AUDI dealership in Greenwich briefly, and he asked the dealership if they could do the outstanding "recalls" on my car while they had it there. Later that day, he said the car might be ready the following day. It was ready, & it was showroom-perfect, inside and out. Lastly, when I initially dropped off the car, there was a "scuff" of white paint on a quarter panel that I did not mention to Jonathan. But when I picked up the car, I noticed that they'd buffed out the white scuff without even mentioning it. Nice. Summary: a rather complex repair was completed masterfully, 2 days earlier than expected; the paint is matched perfectly; random damage on quarter panel erased; and 2 or 3 "recalls" taken care of at the same time. Pray Body Shop is the absolute best. We had the misfortune of having to bring two Tesla Model X's there in two weeks. The first time was because my car got damaged on the truck during a cross-country transport. The insurance companies involved could not agree on whether the car was totaled until it was seen by a Tesla-certified body shop. Jonathan was extremely professional and helpful and even allowed us access to the car (twice) to remove all our belongings before the car was taken away (it was totaled). The second time was because I got into a little fender bender with my new car. Jonathan looked at it right away and replaced the broken reflector plate on the spot and would not accept any payment because "we've been through enough with our car". He is such a mensch! It's the customer service that distinguishes Pray from any other mechanic/body shop I have ever visited. It's Ritz-Carlton level service. They were able to see my car quickly and and when a part I had provided didn't match perfectly, someone came across the street to the coffee shop I was waiting at to show me a picture to see if I wanted to continue with the job. They were very thorough in giving me my options, and when I decided not to continue with the job because of a defect in the part I had provided, there was no charge even though they had spent some time working on the car. I later retuned with a non-defective part for them to install and once again they were able to get me in quickly and competed the job perfectly, once again with incredible customer service. My first visit here was to get a quote on repairing damage on a vechicle. Russ helped me get a quote for the job and was able to get me into the schedule fairly quickly. Part of my car would have to get replaced which meant it had to have a paint job and blended into the doors. I was worried that it would look bad but Russ assured me it would look exactly as it did before. He wasn't lying. The color matching was spot on, you could never tell anything happened. I was able to get the car repaired and in and out within a week. Downside is they only operate on weekdays and close at 5pm so timing can be difficult. read more

This is a great little shop. I have driven by hundreds of times, but it wasn't until I had a fender-bender and needed my bumper repaired, that I stopped in. The team took our quote from the adjustor, estimated around four days for the repair, and actually had it done in two. Honest, great paint job, and John (the manager) is very polite and professional, I highly recommend this shop. My 2018 Audi Q7 needed a rare door replacement after a minor accident past Winter. I called several authorized Audi repair shops in Bronx and North of NYC and, while the prices were similar, Pray Body was the only one that provided a fair quote without including unnecessary work that other shops suggested to do. The paint job and color matching were outstanding, it is impossible to see that the door has been repaired. The job quality was great -- the new door is tight, closes/opens smoothly and it is waterproof. There was a few days delay due to some minor assembling parts put back incorrectly by a mechanic, but John was very polite and helpful in fixing these problems. If I ever need a car body work again, I will certainly return back to Pray Body Shop. read more

My wife got rear ended on 95. The insurance company had us go here for an estimate,etc. When I called, they scheduled me to arrive early the next day and had a rental waiting for me. When I dropped off the car, they told me that it would be finished by Monday. Sure enough, it was ready first thing Monday morning. When i picked it up, the car looked great and they had cleaned the car very nicely. The agent was very attentive and wanted to be sure I understood all of the details about the timing, costs, rental, etc. I was actually surprised by the total cost of the repairs. The guys pointed out various other minor scratches, small dings from years of wear and tear, just as an FYI to me. I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up my car..every dent, ding and scratch was gone! The inside was also spotless, down to the previously mud-encrusted floor mats. They put our Audi back together terrible after our accident. Went here at the advice of Geico and would not recommend them to anyone. Geico said it would be an easier experience and we should have went to the dealership or any better garage. We had so many problems with our Audi that we had to get rid of it. Avoid avoid avoid. Geico recommended this business because they are part of their repair network. Because Geico was onsite and could approve any potential additional repairs, I went along with their recommendation. When the car was returned to me, two plastic hood grommets were missing and I had to go out of my way to replace these on my own. This was a minor issue. Four months after Pray repaired the deer damage to my front end, I was rear ended and pushed into the car in front of me, requiring yet another front end repair. This time, I went to a shop of my choosing. The first question from the guy at the shop - "Who recently painted this bumper?" I asked how he knew it was recently painted and he commented "Whoever did it didn't use sealer. See all this black coming through? The paint would have started peeling off of this in a year or so without a sealer." So, the second accident was actually fortunate in that the bumper will be replaced and repainted properly this time. Clearly Pray cuts corners. Keep them off your list. read more

Outstanding service - these guys are the real deal. I have used them for body work on four occasions over the last several years. First was when a deer ran in front of my wife's 2013 Audi Allroad. Extensive damage to front of aluminum body, front end sensors, radiator, and brackets. Audi and Allstate directed us to Pray as its mechanics are certified in aluminum body work. They got the repair/restoration right the first time. The second was a dent on rear panel of my 2012 Ford 150. The dent was repaired and, more importantly, the color of the finish of the repair was perfectly blended into the existing truck color (Pearl White - which is not easy to match). The third occasion was a silver 2007 Acura TL that was sideswiped on the driver's side when another car abruptly changed lanes into me. Again, the repair/restoration was complete and done in good time. The fourth occasion was repair/replacement of a damaged tailgate to the F-150 (it appears that I may be back-up challenged). As with the other occasions, the work was done well and in good time with great finish match. I have been very pleased in all my dealings with Pray Body Shop and would absolutely use them again. read more
