Although she was told that we did not need their services as we had already decided on another company she visited multiple times to hard sell her services. She would not take no for an answer and it was to the level of harassment. After she was told no for the final time, we received a call from Washington L&I regarding a call they received about improper asbestos-related work in our home. We had already tested the home to confirm that there was no asbestos related materials. This resulted in additional work and headache for us to refute this false report. During this disastrous time for me and my family, most of the people we have interacted with have been extremely helpful and understanding. It is unfortunate that there are some people out there who want to take advantage of our misfortune. I do not want an apology or any contact from your business. I want you to stop doing this to people, especially people who are trying to recover from a disaster. P.S. if you are an employee of this business, know that we have video monitoring of our property including of your visits. It will be difficult for you to pretend that you did not continue visiting our home even after you were told no repeatedly. I also filed an information request from the county to confirm the person who falsely reported us for having asbestos related work in our home. It was indeed someone from Superior Contents. These are people who retaliated against us after a natural disaster because we would not hire them when they showed up UNSOLICITED to our home.

Currently a tenant with this storage facility and honestly I wish we had gone elsewhere. They…read moreapparently have far less supplies than needed for the volume of customers. Carts for example are extremely rare to come by so expect to carry all your heavy stuff in and out or rent your own dolly. They claim to have all these things you can use when you come but we've often waited around an hour for a cart to be free or just gave up. We are military and needed the value they offered but it's not convenient and they really pushed us to take a unit on a higher floor with the assurance that carts are easily available etc. not true and we've been here over a month now. Also the elevator system sucks if you are alone and trying to carry your stuff- you have about 30 seconds to get from the entrance door to the elevator before it locks. Can't express enough how frustrating this is making our move. I do not recommend unless you really don't care how long and hard moving in your stuff is- it's going to be a nightmare getting out unless we leave it up to military movers. Blegh.

When we brought it to their attention the camera's conveniently did not capture our RV spot. We usually randomly stop by to check on things, but the 3rd time we noticed that all the locks were broken. When we mentioned to the front office, they did not offer to make things right or even take off a portion of the monthly charge. The lack of security for a "secured" area is a joke! They don't monitor the area, nor do they give two craps, as long as they get their money. Extremely disappointed and will never refer this storage unit to anyone. DO NOT use this place. They are not secured or trustworthy!

I am usually reserved about giving a business 5 stars. However, by the end of this review you will…read moreunderstand why I gave Arm Guard Self Storage 5 stars. Arm Guard Self Storage Pro's: 1. Security. The facility has camera's everywhere. Each storage unit has an alarm and inputting your code at the front gate disables that alarm for your unit. The Alarm is enabled once your code is entered from the inside of the facility. There was one incident where a person was found living in one of the storage units. He gained access to the unit through the back of the storage (which is why the storage alarm wasn't tripped). However, he was caught because as police tried to get him, he tried gaining access to another storage unit to flee fortunately, that storage unit was full and he got trapped. One last comment, there is someone who lives on the facility. 2. The staff is very friendly. As a Service Member in the US Army, I am not new to the storage scene. Living in El Paso, Texas, I was required to have a storage upon receiving orders to deploy to Iraq back in 2009. The storage unit was subpar but I didn't care. I just wanted a cheap storage unit with a location close enough to walk. During my deployment I found out that that particular storage unit didn't receive a payment. Immediately, they starting auctioning my stuff. It's a good thing I had my brother as an emergency contact. This little story brings me to the Arm Guard Self Storage. After I explained to them why I was very particular about getting a storage due to my previous experience, they informed me that auctioning my stuff would be illegal. They were also very informative about informing me that the man who was living in the storage unit near mine tried gaining access to my unit. 3. Autopayment. I love autopayment because I don't have to worry about going to the storage to pay my monthly fee or sending in a check via snail mail. 4. Front gate is self explanatory. The front gate has a access code key pad on the left side that gets you in and diables the alarm. 5. Access hours. The hours to enter the facility are 5:00AM - 11:00PM. The hours ensure that the facility is completely locked down outside access hours. Its another extra security. 6. Lights. Each storage unit has lights. It's really awesome to see what your trying to get. Overall, I would definitely recommend this storage unit. I left for Afghanistan, came back and didn't have any issues.
