When I spend money on postage I'd like to have a place to park my car where I don't worry about getting towed or scraped, and when I come with postage on my boxes ready to drop them off like so many other post offices, I'd like to be able to do so instead of being turned away when I don't really need anything that I can't do myself. This is a cute little branch, but it's sorely antiquated.

In addition we received mail from four different addresses. The person I spoke with had a very nonchalant attitude. He told me just to put the mail belonging to the other people in the mailbox tomorrow. I told him the last time we had a problem the person I spoke with was very accommodating. The prior time they told me they had a carrier on a route that was too big for him and they would switch that carrier to another route. I told him I was concerned that if I was getting mail from four different people our mail was also being delivered to others. Only then did he say he would put a note in for the carrier to let him know he had made mistakes. No regret, no politeness and no apology. Sheesh.

I had to unfortunately print some…read morelost pet flyer's and not only did she do the job quickly and efficiently after walking me through the options, but she went above and beyond, especially in the empathy department, while remaining a total professional. I dealt with 4 different employees and they all were helpful and good at their jobs, however Melissa is the type of employee that makes you choose Staples over a competitor even if it's a bit of an extra drive.

I informed her I placed order in the morning and never bothered to confirm if my order was ready or bother checking on it. She just told me to wait for confirmation. We needed the hokidays card to be shipped out by the same day it was expected to be done.

Had an appointment for a notorization. Got there a bit early and asked 20 minutes prior. I went back in at my time and am told by some other kid that he's in the hospital and wont be coming in. Like, why didnt you say that earlier instead of making me wait 30 minutes? When I asked for the manager he pointed to his buddy and said he was the manager. Then why is the kid you're saying the manager commenting about how he doesn't think the notary is coming back in today while you're making a claim that he's in the hospital? Either way, both employees had zero care for wasting my time and went so far as to say. "Man, there's nothing we could do about it. It's the system that made your appointment." Well, you have control of the system and are confident your buddy isn't coming back, so you pick up the damn phone and call people with appointments. That's what you could have done about it.

I went in looking for a quote on shipping something internationally. The shady guy at the counter appeared annoyed that I was there. I asked him a question about declaring it via customs, and he had no idea what I was talking about. He then gave me a quote for UPS and USPS. The USPS quote was significantly lower, and I said something along the lines of "maybe I should just go to the post office." I then asked him if he could give me a quote for DHL and FedEx, to which he responded, "Well, if you're just going to go to the post office, why would I give you a quote?" I said, "Well, I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet, I'm just looking for prices." He then said, "Why would I waste my time looking up prices if you're just going to go elsewhere?" At that point, I said, "OK, thank you." and I left. I went around the corner to the post office and not only did I receive friendly customer service, the price to ship from the post office was almost $50 cheaper. I do not recommend this business at all. EXTREMELY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL.
