This place just changed management and they are improving some things. The people who work here are super kind and one of them welcomes me by name every time I walk in. I have a po box here so I come in once a week or so. I was just impressed that he remembered. I think they are changing the name of this place too. They let me ship as many USPS boxes as I want. Don't go here!! They will rip you off. Went here the other day to have a regular letter sent Certified Mail. The lady wanted to charge me $15.00. I asked her if her prices were the same as the USPS. She said she was about 10 to 20 cents higher than the USPS. I told her I thought that Certified Mail was about $5.00 for a letter and she said "no". I ended up leaving and finding a USPS Post Office and they charged me $6.40 to send a letter Certified Mail. ‍‍‍ Lady, you are a lier, a cheat and con-man. You really won't believe my experience here... "If you are going to bring packages in prepaid and packaged just to drop off, you need to give my wife a few dollars each time." That is a paraphrase of what I was told yesterday in this store. I weigh, package, and pay for my postage at home so I don't have to take up time from a postal business and it saves me time too. They actually told me that they don't make any money off of me, so I need to take my packages about 15 miles further away to the post office. I could understand if I was an unruly customer, but I enter with a smile, and need no help to put packages in the designated space in the store for USPS to pick up. The time it takes me to drop packages of is literally 10 seconds and they don't even have to do anything. They told me to leave a few dollars ($5) every time I come in or just go to the post office. I also have a business and I understand how important people are to my business. Not just customers, but people... People tell other people about good and bad experiences. They seem to not care people or about running a business that benefits all stake holders. I asked the owner as I went to my car to get money to give to them for doing nothing but harassing me... I asked "Isn't life about more than just money?" He said "No it is not." and then closed the door. I brought them the only cash I had in my wallet ($2) and left with a smile. They can choose to run their business in whatever way they think is best, but if you have an option to do postal business anywhere else, please do it there. I just think there are better people out there that deserve your business more than these people do. Lastly, don't think that I'm bitter about my experience... I actually pity these people because they must have a very shallow, and sad existence in this experience we call life. read more

COMMON CRIMINALS This place charged me $2.54 for a package (padded envelope) in late January, It is February 17 and I just got the package back in the mail with the stamp 'RETURNED FOR POSTAGE'. I have used this place for my postal needs for over10 years. I typically use them once per week... sometimes more. I drive past several other postal stores to ship from their office. The staff is always friendly and professional. As a business owner, I understand the need for them to price their services in a way that makes them profitable. I do not feel it is over-priced. I am paying for convenience and expertise. And I am supporting a local business. UPS and Fedex don't need my business. I highly recommend these folks. I ordered a bicycle from a private seller on Craigslist who lived in Katy (I live in California). After the seller and I discussed the shipping of the bike, we agreed that he would take it to his local postal center to have it packed and shipped via Fedex. He put me in contact with the postal center (Postal Web Plus) so that they could charge my credit card directly for the "packing" of the bike. I called the manager and he informed me that it would cost $100 to pack the bike, and asked that I send an email to confirm the charge on my credit card. A few days later I received the bike. There were holes in both the front and back of the box where the bike was sticking out of. The "packaging" I paid almost $100 for consisted of two boxes taped together, with the bike thrown in the box. no other packing material was used in order to insure the bike would not move around, or would not be damaged. I would never recommend this business. If you have something to ship, and you care about it at all, then you should probably go somewhere else to have it done right. read more

I had a nice experience. I mailed off something very important and it was done ok. As i noticed the women worker had me pay she walked off with my envelope not sealed so i asked for my package back. She did I sealed it and took a picture with tracking number that was on it. Yes the receipt has the tracking number but you should always check that it matches simple common sense. read more

Went today to have a document notarized. it needed 2 signatures. they charged us 18$ to get that document notarized. According to the state of texas laws, they cannot charge more than 6 dollars per signature and an extra dollar for an additional signature on that same document. They ripped us off. Although it was a small amount, what they are doing is against the laws. Probably never step foot in there again. sorry!! read more

I went there to ship a package to send back home and I have been to the post office before but was never satisfied with their service and my packages barely got delivered. This place has a very friendly staff who will help you choose the right way to ship your packages according to your preference. They do international and domestic shipping and they also ship through DHL. Two thumbs up. read more

Nice and friendly staff. Unlike USPS who just hands you stamps. These people work and do everything for you to help you get your letters and packages out. I do a lot of business on eBay and Amazon and have been using postal express the last few times and have always gotten my packages shipped out fairly quick with no hassle. read more

Even with me watching for surcharges I didn't notice she'd ok-ed a shipping price of $5 with me and swiped my card for $7.50. I didn't see it until I signed the receipt and I hate confrontation so I just left. She charged me 50% more than I agreed to. They must make heaps of money doing this all the time! read more

Needing postage stamps I went into this location...I had been told not to mail packages there because extra (hefty) surcharges were added. But I thought what can they do to stamps....I selected several pages of stamps and asked the clerk if they were being sold at face value. (just to be sure). She answered yes. When I looked at the receipt later, I realized I had been charged $9.20 EXTRA for first class stamps. Instead of .46 each, they cost me .55 each. $9.20 for the privilege of buying there instead of UPS, Kroger, or HEB...or a valid U.S. Post Office! I called the manager, and when I explained and told him that not only would I never "shop" there again...but most likely NO ONE in my office of around 100, nor my friends...number unknown :) would shop there...he finally offered me a refund...if I returned the stamps. Impossible...because I had completed my mailing, and the stamps had been used. He said there was nothing he could (would) do. SO BEWARE.... I have never been treated so bad by another human being in my life. Do NOT go there, I would give them a zero if I could. I worked for years down the street from this place that also offered Fed Ex and for years I got numerous complaints about them over charging and that the staff was rude. I figured because I was just dropping off a package it should be safe enough. All I needed to do was tape up my box, a small box. He refused to let me do it myself, in case of injury. Which I have no problem with but I have a problem with you swiping my package from me and lifting the top flap to see what's in there. What I'm shipping is none of your business and eventually he got off his phone to explain he wouldn't let me use the tape gun in case of injury. He was talking to me like I was a piece of dirt, obviously the wrong sex to be polite and respectful to. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my package there, zero confidence that he would even give it to the USPS guy. So he tore the tape off and gave it back and said good luck is such a manner he might as well of spit on me. Luckily the USPS driver was just pulling up outside and was happy to help take my package for me. read more
