Came here to grab some lunch since we saw great reviews online. We were really surprised how unimpressive this place is. Ambiance is great, modern, chic, cool vibe with indoor and outdoor dining. So I would give 4/5 stars for vibe and service was pretty great as well. Friendly and attentive service. Food however wasn't good at all, it seems like food at Panera bread but 5 times more expensive. I had soup and salad and it was the smallest soup and smallest salad. Soup was cauliflower cream which was ok, but again, ok for hospital food and not for a restaurant. Salad had some weird chicken, didn't seem like fresh real chicken, it was more leathery chicken you would get at the airport Chinese food. My husband had skewers that were super oily, literally oil was dripping from them, not sure why would they pour oil on the skewers. Definitely do not recommend this place, very overpriced for the quality they offer. read more

We visited Postino Boulder for lunch on a Monday and were seated right away on their (dog friendly) patio. It was 90 degrees out so they had water misters running on the patio to cool it down. While refreshing, the water would pool on top of the umbrellas and periodically drip down onto the tables, so the concept could've been executed a bit better. Our server Peter came over with water right away and we ordered drinks. I loved that Postino had a section of their menu dedicated just to Arnold Palmers! I got the Blackberry Smash and my friend chose the Apricot Palmer, which were both delightful. For food, we ordered a bunch of plates to share - the Meatballs & Goat Cheese, Maitake Mushroom, and Bruschetta Board. The Meatballs were delicious! I loved the red sauce and the fact that they were all beef. The Maitake Mushroom featured two different types of mushroom, and one was significantly tastier than the other. I did love the lebni yogurt with lemon zest though! For our Bruschetta Board, we chose the Brie, Apple & Fig Spread, Warm Artichoke Spread, Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese, and Ricotta, Dates & Pistachio. The Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese was probably my favorite but they were all good, besides the Warm Artichoke Spread, which was a bit forgettable. The ambiance on the patio was delightful and made for great people watching on Pearl Street. The interior had fun decor and I loved the funky wall of roller skates. Would return! read more

Every glass of wine is $6 prior to 5pm - or you get a whole bottle for $20! Such a steal! I loveeee the sahale sav blanc. I also love their bruschetta boards! You get four big slices with your choice of four various spreads. I always opt for the ricotta pistachio and fig one. I tried the Brie and Apple on this time and wow! My new favorite!! We came here for lunch and hit Happy Hour time on a Friday so $6 glass of wine with my 4 Bruschetta choices (I did a gluten free version). These were tasty combinations of ingredients - I had a Brie, Apple and Fig, Smoked Salmon and Pesto, Ricotta, Dates and Pistachio and the monthly special of spicy Buffalo Cauliflower. My daughter had her usual favorite grilled cheese - here it is a sophisticated mix of Gruyère, Brie, goat cheese, white cheddar and smoked bacon it came with a yummy and creamy tomato soup which I happily sampled. Service was excellent - in addition to our server another friendly woman (likely a manager) came over to our table to let us know when food was coming and checked if we needed anything. Great location on Pearl with comfortable seating and relaxed atmosphere. The bruschetta was in fact very very delicious and one order (4) was plenty. I would recommend this place. Service is good and prices are reasonable. They do not offer cocktails- so be aware it is just wine and beer (although I was informed they are working on getting a full bar). The happy hour alone is what gives this a five. They have (medium) pitchers of beer for $6! Usually when beer is this cheap it is not very good or light but not here. I got a sour and it was great. A wonderful balance of sour and sweet that I look for in sours. The staff is friendly though a little busy some times due to the happy hour popularity. My caesar was also amazing, which is saying a lot for something that can seem so pedestrian. The parm was seemingly hand shaved, the croutons seemed handmade, and it wasn't overdressed (why do people overdress salads?!). Prices were reasonable, as well. I spied a lot of people on laptops or just chatting, and it seemed like a "local haunt" for business people. I was there on business, but I was never rushed and I didn't even find the music intrusive. If you're into happy hour, they have $6 wine or beer pitchers until 5pm, and they also offer takeout wine. I had the Mediterranean seasonal bread and the spicy pepper jam with goat cheese bread. The spicy pepper jam wasn't spicy at all and more speedy than anything, but the goat cheese was yummy and there was a good amount of it the Mediterranean one was good but also not mind blowing. I wasn't a huge fan of the romesco purée. The grilled cheese appetizer was yummy and the soup was good. I had a glass of Prosecco during happy hour so only $6 a glass which is a great deal. The wine was good, nothing special and not chilled enough. The wine my friend got which was a white wine from Greece a Moschofilero was pretty good and definitely unique. My friend who knows a good amount of wine had two glasses of that. The bathroom was clean and would definitely give the service above and beyond 5 stars. We had issues with the payment QR code that took a good amount of time to sort out but that's not the servers fault. Would recommend this location. read more

When you go to board and bottle, they're usually so busy you forfeit good service for a good price, but Marraye gave us amazing service, she was super sweet, food and wine were amazing as always, we were super appreciative of the gluten free bread. With 3 people in our party, we were seated very quickly, and we had 2 dogs that they said were fine as long as we would be okay outside. The food was amazing! We got the mushroom platter, which was delicious, but could have used more bread as the mushroom and sauce was plentiful. Both were delishous, the weather was great, and being able to sit outside and do a bit of dog and people watching was very pleasent. something you should know about postino -- they have lots of deals but when the bill you, the tip is based on the standard price. a popular deal is their bottle and board. for $20 you receive a bruschetta board and a bottle of wine. when the tab comes, those items are much more originally so they use that as the subtotal before adding the discount, then the tip is calculated from there. i recently bought 2 $50 gift cards that were added to my tab which was already $70. my tip was calculated as 20% if $170 instead the $70 i expected. when gifting the gift cards i just told my friends they were pre-tipped. not a huge deal obviously, i still love this place! just pay attention when you're paying at the end. read more
