Arrived 30 minutes early and the host was nice enough to check if he could seat us early. They were full so he could not but we still ended up with a table about 10 minutes prior to our reservation time. The service was amazing, we were celebrating our anniversary and they brought us some champagne on the house. I had the Waygu flatiron and my husband had the ribeye, we asked for medium and they both came out medium rare but it was not the end of the world. The fries were phenomenal but the broccoli rabe was extremely bitter. The horse radish cream sauce was exceptional and the waitress suggested we dip our fries in it which was absolutely amazing! Our waitress was very nice and checked in with us enough to make sure we had what we needed but not so much we felt overwhelmed. The price was what we expected and we will 100% be back.

What a wonderful cozy dinner experience!

Steakhouse 316 in Boulder absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable, attentive without being overbearing, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made the entire experience feel elevated and seamless, with thoughtful recommendations and perfect timing throughout the meal. Every dish was outstanding. The tuna tartare and hamachi were incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared, light, flavorful, and the perfect start. The Kansas ribeye was rich and cooked to perfection, while the filets were melt-in-your-mouth tender and expertly seasoned. The sides selection is hard to choose only a few to share. We loved the whipped mashed potatoes, butternut squash and the truffle mac and cheese!! But the true star of the evening was the tableside Caesar salad, it's an absolute must. Watching it come together right in front of you adds such a special touch, and the flavor is next level. Easily one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had. This is one of those rare dining experiences where everything, from service to food, comes together flawlessly. Highly recommend for a special night out or anytime you want an unforgettable meal. Steakhouse 316 just makes your night...Pure Magic!

This was a wonderful pick for tonight's dinner with some cousins I hadn't seen in years! Located near Pearl Street in Boulder, CO the building is easy to find and boasts an elegantly decorated interior and warmly lit which sets an intimate and inviting tone that carries throughout your meal. The service is immaculate and accomplished with a whole team of professionals. The meal will be on the pricier side, but is reflected with the quality of culinary offerings and high level of service you receive. One of my most enjoyed meals of 2025! The rib-cap, my favorite steak cut, was cooked to perfection and highly enjoyed with the sides of Brussels Sprouts with Maple Syrup, Crispy Pancetta, & Parmesan, and a side of Whipped Potatoes, Maitre d' Butter and last but certainly not least, roasted exotic mushrooms. The liquor and wine lists will have choices even the most discriminate of the world's oenophiles, connoisseurs and enthusiasts will enjoy. We were waaay too full for dessert, but there looked to be some amazing picks there as well. I highly recommend this place!

What a unique way to serve onion rings!

This place is something special. Steakhouse No. 316 is a restaurant we go to when we want to treat ourselves or celebrate a special occasion. It's such an elegant place. The red booths, the dark wood, the mood lighting - it makes you feel like you have traveled into the past - it almost has a speakeasy feel. The food is just amazing. The herbed butter and the freshly baked bread were delicious. We LOVE the table side Caesar's salad! Watching this salad being prepared feels like watching a piece of art come to life. The steaks are perfectly cooked. There are some truly yummy sides to choose from. Our favorite is the Loaded Twice Baked Potato. The Key Lime Pie is sublime! The people that work there are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Really great service! We love that the manager is a woman and each time we're there she remembers our names. This is one of the highest quality restaurants in Boulder county!

Best steakhouse in Boulder by a mile. We always have a great time at 316, whether it's in the dining room or at the bar (great bartenders especially Kevin). Had a wonderful time celebrating my dad's birthday last night, family was blown away by the quality. Thanks everybody!

Visiting Boulder, CO for the Utah @ Colorado game. Wanted to find an upscale steakhouse and this was a gem of a find. Promptly seated with a reservation (highly recommended). Place fells like an intimate speakeasy. Our server was friendly, attentive and made some great recommendations. Dirty Martini was yummy! Wedge Salad was okay, could have been more robust dressing. Porterhouse for 2 was a big hit! Cooked to perfection and a great cut. The sides were fantastic with the Haricots Bert and Mashed Potato being the favorites. Cheesecake and Key Lime Pie was their unique spin on them and was a hit. Definitely will be back on future trips to Boulder.

Caesar dressing made tableside and ready for the fixings.

Great place. Has the look and feel of a classic western steak place. Service was very good; there were plenty of people taking care of the floor. Starting with the bread service, they provided an excellent butter. The wine list was not huge but had a proper variety. There were fun and interesting cocktails and some fine bourbon on pour. Our server was really knowledgeable about both steak and wine - I had neither but my companions considered her recommendations excellent. The tableside Caesar salad was a neat presentation and sooo good. A triple size was more than enough for I've people. The arctic char was delicious and the fries were fabulous (I think they were done in duck fat, which did not jibe with my vegetarianism, but I had a few before I knew and yum). I chose the Truffle Gnocchi side as my dinner, but sadly I didn't like it. I was torn between that and the risotto and after tasting my friend's dish I wish I had gone with the risotto. It's not that the gnocchi was bad, just too "truffle-forward" for my tastes. Maybe cooked a bit too long, also. I know, I know. It is a STEAK house... As a meat eater for 60 years, I can say my friend's meat looked great with serious marbling and sizzled on the plate. Dessert was fantastic. The chocolate mousse, key lime pie and root beer float were a perfect ending to the meal.

We brought my husband's guests from Asia for a business dinner here. First the good stuff. The service was excellent and the restaurant is lovely, but a warning: it's very loud. Between the general acoustics and the loud music, we had a hard time hearing each other. One of our guests also complained about the lack of lighting; we were okay, but I noticed other tables using their phones to read the menu, so he wasn't the only one. Now to the food. The standouts were the fried green tomato with truffle burrata and the table side Caesar salad. They were not to be missed. I also enjoyed the frog legs. I had scallops and everyone else had steaks. My scallops were good and cooked well, but they were very small and quite overpowered by the sauce. Not worth the price honestly. People said the cuts of meat were excellent but over seasoned. The oysters were good but small; again, we wouldn't order them again for the price. Wine and drinks were good and delivered promptly.

Started out a little ruff when we checked in wasn't a great experience with the hostess but after that everything was top tier... Our waitress Riley kicked butt she gave some great insight on the menu and provided great service the entire time 5 star service from her and the team that worked to ensure our experience was awesome for date night with the wife. We started out with the Cesar salad table side and it was delicious. A must have at the restaurant definitely a recommendation. Wifey ordered 8oz sirloin with crab Oscar on top. Perfectly cooked and delicious. I ordered the Butchers special recommendation from Riley. It was delicious the photo does it no justice but it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The entire experience was awesome loved the setting and again top notch Service. We will be back and recommend for anyone looking for a delicious steak. Great Job By the entire team!

Amazing restaurant and food and vibe- not the best service but would def be back and recommend. Best blue cheese stuffed olive martini I may have had to date-- so had to get two!! No mention or dessert for the bday celebration which was a bit odd but altogether a good experience!

We ordered Pan -which is soft, comes with creamy butter; also, got ensalada (local farm) because of that pesticide, I was worried. It turned out better than last time; Calabacin - was good, until kick of spice, doesn't come on quick, after chewing and swallowing, phew! There's a kick of spice and I drank everything surrounding me, asked for ice, it doesn't come with water, mocktail and Sprite with cherries; Jamon Fat Fries - basic French fries, of course yummy; 37 day dry aged cowboy ribeye 24 oz is delicious, hubby was in love; for dessert it's chocolate tarte (4got) fancy name, it was served inside dark brown cup, I thought it was part of dessert, nope! It's unusual--umm, like chocolate mousse inside. I wanted to love it, but no, I do not recommend ordering. We sat in okay spot. They said, we'd be in best table...where we sat, we couldn't take good pictures, it was at corner. If we were one table over, it would've been amazing. The ambience was great. For service, I had to take a star away, I didn't want to...service was ok, I kept inquiring about my refills, way we were served, we were barely eating appetizers and salad...they came to take away plates to give us dinner plates, it felt rushed. I was trying to finish bread and salad, while they were moving plates around, so they can take it. If they waited 5 minutes, it would've been smoother. Dinner was great, server came right back, we barely got steak on our plates, inquired about taste...again, it was rushed. Plus, check your receipt! They already added 10% tip, which is fine, but without any notice or none that was displayed. I'm sure we'll return, maybe when the Alpine Globes returns, it's a nice place and my husband enjoys rooftop dining.

The service there is outstanding and everyone that works there is super nice and professional, they are all masters of their crafts. I love the entire vibe of Blackbelly, they have well taken care of live plants everywhere, and it's very clean and tables are well spaced out. One of my favorite parts though is the dry age case! After a lovely day walking around Boulder, the Husband searched through Yelp and found Brasserie…read moreTen Ten as a nice option just a couple blocks off Pearle Street. We walked in without reservations on a Saturday evening and was lucky to have the option of dining inside or out. We were seated in the corner, which was fine except for the flies that would get trapped against the window and buzz right around us. There weren't really any other tables in the middle of the restaurant available, so we sucked it up. During the day, it was very brightly lit. But once the sun goes down, it doesn't become very dark. We were given menus by the hostess, but there was a slight delay with water service and what not. Eventually, our waiter did come by to talk a bit more about the menu. (I should note that the table was only set for a party of two and we were a party of four. So, it wasn't until our first dish arrived did they notice that we were missing tableware and plates for the rest of our party.) We mentioned that we'll be sharing a bunch of things, so this is what we ordered: The food came quickly and we did have to make room immediately. I do wish they would have paced it a bit better though. * Beet Salad $15 - They were kind enough to split this in two plates right off the get go. Since it's called a Beet Salad, I did expect a bit more beets than what was given. 3/5 * Roasted Bone Marrow $16 - This was a gorgeous presentation with three bone marrow halves topped with a little red trout roe. The accompanying buttered crusty bread was just wonderful. Although not everyone enjoyed the fig vinegar, I loved this dish! 5/5 * Fried Anchovy Stuffed Olives $12 - My mistake was seeing "fried anchovy", so I was surprised when the olives showed up. It was a lot of salt on salt. It was just okay for us and was the last thing on our table. 2/5 * House Pâté $18 - Another wow dish! The house pate was delicious! The Little Gal pretty much planted that in front of her so she could just focus on that. We did need to order more bread to enjoy all of the pate though. 5/5 * Tartare De Filet Mignon $20 - This was another favorite dish of ours and we ended up ordering another! Loved the red trout roe and crostini that came with it. 5/5 * Moules La Marinire 1 lb $27 - The mussels were so well cleaned and the sauce had so much flavor. It also came with a crusty piece of bread to soak up all that amazing sauce. 5/5 * Peach Cobbler - Before we ordered, I did ask if they had a dessert menu as I wanted to gauge how much food to get based on what desserts were available. Our waiter mentioned they had only two peach cobblers available and could put one on hold for us if we wanted it. And he did rattle off a few of their regular dessert items too. Since this peach cobbler seemed so exclusive, we did ask for that to be on hold for us. When it did arrive, I was a bit disappointed. It wasn't sweet enough for my preference. I'm not sure if it was because the peaches weren't sweet or there was a lack of sugar in the cobbler portion. 3/5 * Beignets $12 (to go) - As we were leaving, I asked one of the floor managers if they typically do something for birthdays and he confirmed that they do. He then asked if they had missed something, so I reluctantly told him that they did. The Husband did mention to the two waiters that we were celebrating a birthday, so he had told the staff. I thought that maybe because the peach cobbler took a bit longer, maybe it was forgotten. He apologized profusely and offered to send us with an order of beignets. We were pretty full and had a drive back, but he insisted and said it would only take a moment or so. So we agreed and I waited for it. The order came with 10 little freshly fried doughnut holes, lemon curd, raspberry gelee, and strawberries. We headed to the car and I enjoyed a few there. They were just okay though, nothing really special. 3/5 Overall, there were some really great highs and a couple of lows. I appreciated how the manager tried to make up for the error and did ask where we were seating, so I assume he could address it with the staff. We REALLY loved certain dishes and would return again for those. I would still rate this highly because we did have a generally good experience. 4.5 stars

We're celebrating my husband's birthday (like many others) but it was such horrible experience, we decided to leave, without ordering any dessert. I made reservation at 6 pm, with detailed instructions and spoke with restaurant, night prior to ensure they're able to accommodate my 86lb service dog. We're being brought to table, which she couldn't seem to figure out (I'm on oxygen, with a 6 ft hose) mother is holding onto my concentrator, as lady was leading us around restaurant, thru little spaces as I'm being dragged along. Then, attempted to seat us outside! I've never sat outside, especially because it's very hot out and presumed a/c would be on. Then, she led us back tables, trying to cram us into a tiny space and there's no way, we could fit 4 adults and my 86lb service dog. I picked a table close to where we sat last time, it's right in front of kitchen. The lady, conf'd my reservation over the phone and assured me, we'd get a large enough table to comfortably fit all of us. She finally seated us, with no menus...yep, there's a list of all the WRONGS and it's lengthy: we decide to skip appetizers, some of party came directly from work and we're hungry. The waitress is aware, she said, we're in right place. Ok, so we place our dinner order with our drinks order, except she forgot about my order (no biggie), but she brought my husband a Diet Coke and he ordered iced-tea. They, fixed his drink. Also, I ordered a simple salad, asked specifically for more tomatoes and she said, they can add more & asked to be halved with my husband. When salad came, it wasn't halved and had 2 cherry tomatoes that were halved. I didn't want to send it back, who knows when it will come back or if it will. Plus, I've never seen the Brasserie this empty, but managed to take them over 45 minutes (after 7 pm) before dinner is served. We couldn't understand, why would it take so long? Noticed, waitresses were bringing food back to kitchen, multiple times and my husband said, he saw waitress bring food back, she picked up each piece to show the cook. Next, we noticed menu is light on meat selection, with lots of fish options which is fine. So, we order multiple known Brasserie staples (steak & poulet) it is dry, with little to no taste. This has NEVER happened to us, when eating here and when it came time for dessert...food is already disappointing, we debate...we're probably going to wait lengthy time and be in the unbearable heat. I took leftovers home for my pup. We asked for our bill and left. I'm warm by nature, but others that are with me, can handle the heat and they're complaining it's HOT. It got so HOT, I was sweating profusely, wiping sweat off my face and by time we left, even my hair is wet! I've been here many times, especially in summer and never endured such discomfort. Sitting outside is cooler than it was inside the restaurant.

My friend and I started with the churro donuts to share. These were the perfect sweet treat (because who can have brunch without something sweet for the table?) It comes with a dulce de leche and a coffee anglaise that was so delicious. For my main I went with the fireside eggs. This was exceptional! Flavourful shakshuka with perfectly poached eggs, avocado and feta served alongside naan bread. This meal was comforting and delicious without being overly filling. I can't recommend The Kitchen enough! If I'm ever back in Boulder I will definitely be back. I would love to try the lunch or dinner menu!

There are only two tables on their patio that have an umbrella, so we were sitting in the sun at first and it was getting really hot (but then we were able to snag a shaded table when it freed up shortly after) All of the menu options sounded so good, we started with drinks, I can't remember the name of my cocktail, but it had egg white in it and was so delicious. We ordered the burrata appetizer and all of our means at the same time. Unfortunately, the appetizer never came out, our server for that to put it in. I ended up going with the Bolognese and it was really good so was the steak frites and street cart chicken that my friends had. Their fries are pretty good. The server felt really bad for forgetting about our appetizer and offered us a free dessert instead, so we tried the churro donuts which were ok. I'm still it was a good meal and I would definitely come back if I'm in the Boulder area again soon

River and…read moreWoods has that very specific cozy Boulder atmosphere that somehow feels both rustic and intimate without trying too hard. The whole space feels warm and relaxed in a way that makes you want to stay longer than planned. Food was genuinely very good across the board and the service struck that perfect balance of being attentive without constantly interrupting the table or hovering over conversations. I'd especially recommend it for small groups or date nights because it manages to feel social without getting overwhelmingly loud. Parking is mostly street parking, but we didn't have too much trouble finding a spot nearby.

I think the best thing about River and Woods is the interior and exterior decoration. It is very clear that a lot of thought and time was put into the atmosphere here. From the cute door knocker to the bathroom wallpaper, the theme is well-executed. The food was a bit disappointing. The blue oyster mushroom appetizer was extremely salty. I thought it was just me but the rest of the table agreed as well. My trout was well-cooked and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The chicken was also salty although cooked well. I did not try the burger but I was told it was salty as well. The prices of all the items were quite high for what I thought was presented. Service was good and thankfully our waters were filled frequently for how much water we were drinking due to the high salt content.

Prices a bit on the high side, but so is the quality of their products. I loved it. Indoor and outdoor seating. Easy free parking lot. Smoke menu. I'll be back to try many other items.

While I was there though I was not going to pass up the chance to get some empanadas but since I didn't come with an agenda I just told the guy behind the counter give me two choices of whatever you think is good. I appreciated when instead of questioning or getting confused or asking a follow up he just "you got it boss" and entered in the choices without thinking twice. I knew that he was a real one for this. I got my mate which they have on tap! On tap mate is dangerous but it was very delicious. They had two flavors one mixed with orange juice and one that was simply sweetened (not overly sweet at all. Less sweet than any yellow canned mate you might be thinking of). I tried both choices and the orange juice one was really good but after a full glass I felt a little weighed down. I can't remember the last time I drank that much orange juice. The food comes out and this is where my review is going to get unhelpful. I have no idea what either of these are called and honestly I don't need to know. The flavors were on point for both. One was a traditional seeming empanada with a ground beef mixture on the inside. Not spicy but the flavors were robust. The outer layer of the empanada was also flavorful but fell apart a bit from the heavy sog of beef filling. The taste was still great for all of it and it came with some kind of chimichurri adjacent sauce on the side that was maybe the best thing about the empanada. The second choice was less of an empanada and more of a tart or small pie? It had cheese and corn for the filling and was extremely gooey. Like more gooey than it had any right to be. I don't need to tell you that the combination of crust, cheese, and corn was delicious. If anything it was maybe a little too simple but I could eat that any day of the week and be happy. I got a wonderful table outside under some shade and gave my baby daughter some bites of the meat filling. She loved it. Left after drinking two more cups of the standard mate and felt amazing.
