Olives $8 small but great assortment (5/2026)
    Mike S.

One of my favorite hangouts when the weather is nice because of their ample indoor/outdoor layout. Took someone who'd never been here and she loved it. For the uninitiated there are no entrees per se but loads of appetizers that can easily be paired to be more than filling and that was exactly the boat we were in. We both had long and unusual Sunday workdays and were looking for a place to unwind around 6pm. She got the Smokey Old Fashioned ($15) which was traditionally strong but with a bit of sweet thickness to it (very likely due to the honey that was nicely not excessive). I got the Tré Cucumber ($14) and it had the fresh zing I was needing. Our "meal" apps started with olives ($8); the Pick 2 ($16.75); and the OMG grilled cheese w/ small cup of tomato soup ($15.25). For the Pick 2 we got the roast beef and brie on ciabatta and a bowl of the day's special, kale/sausage soup. ALL were excellent with the grilled cheese taking us both by pleasant surprise due to the clever, savory assortment of cheeses used and similarly with the (small) but varied olive cuplet)! We needed a tad more and opted for the mushroom fondue ($13.75). The bread strips were nicely warmed as was the bowl of cheese with sliced shrooms atop. Dipping was mess-free and the combo was delish! Service was attentive and parking is free, though sometimes approaching capacity. Small note: more and more businesses are calculating the tip based upon a total that's After the tax has been added. It's a minor but, nonetheless, slyly, unconsented-to, inflation of the tip. Just an fyi :)

We went to Postino on grant after a day out in nature. Such perfect temps for the doors to be wide open! We sat on a cozy round couch between the inside and outside, such a romantic spot for an evening. I was surprised by the generosity when my order of cauliflower came out and they noted it looked a little small, so they brought out another order that was larger and let us keep both, so we had more than enough food! Everything felt classy while also down to earth. The music was catchy and fun, the decor earthy and warm. The staff was friendly and helpful, sharing the task of waiting on us creating a sense of community. Other dishes we tried were the OMG grilled cheese and soup as well as the chefs choice cheese board. There are a couple other menu items that I would like to try, so I will be back!

I thought the service was really excellent here and the atmosphere was nice. Sat out on the patio. I only tried the crispy cauliflower plate with capers and raisins in romesco sauce and enjoyed it. I wished it had more capers and less raisins. I liked the romesco sauce. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

Super cute spot with great atmosphere and plates. I think my favorite part of the menu was the donut dots. They were served warm and absolutely delicious. My favorite of the side sauces was the Carmel!! The main dishes were also very good. The soup changes seasonally/per restaurant discretion and I love that. It was busy at the time we went but service was very nice. The manager even was stopping by tables to check in with people and make sure everything was good. It was very aesthetically pleasing and can def see that it would be a great place to come with friends.

I first discovered Postino in Phoenix at their original location in the old post office (hence the name). I loved it then and was delighted when they opened up a Tucson location a few years ago. The concept is solid, a wide selection of charcuterie boards, bruschetta, soups, salads and sandwiches and a decent selection of wines and beer to accompany your choice. If that isn't enough, the generous $6 Happy Hour from open to 5:00 pm is hard to beat. I always manage to find just the perfect selection. The location is in a buzzy area of midtown, plenty of parking, great service, and an open bar and patio with plenty of seating. It's always a lovely and friendly experience!

No need for an entrée because the appetizers were in full effect. Four appetizers with some leftover (not pictured are the skewers/kebabs, which are delicious). The portion size was ample. The server was attentive. The flavor profile for each appetizer was unique, not too spicy unless you wanted the chipotle dipping sauce or all the other spicy things I had them remove. And of course, with my allergies, they were very accommodating and made sure there wasn't any issue with my food. Especially loved the meatball appetizer!

Delicious as always! I love coming here when I'm down in Tucson and have a nice glass of wine and charcuterie. It's the perfect happy hour place. Food is always yummy. Usually I'd get a bread board but I've been wanting to try their charcuterie and it was good! The meats, the cheeses, the hummus, almonds, and peppers were a nice touch. Restaurant is nice and modern. Service is welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to come back!

This place single handedly changed my mind on tomato soup! I like tomatoes but I don't want to drink them however I would drink their soup through a straw with a smile . The grilled cheese and charcuterie are equally excellent too. I did a reservation and pre ordered paninis for a birthday catering. It was so good and really cost effective! The service is always great and they really know the wines. Definitely a must try if you like snacks sandwiches or wine!

    Board and a bottle

Delicious! Came with a gf for a board and a bottle. The bottle is heavy for two people. Hit such a great deal nonetheless. The different options for the board are always delicious. My favorite is the salmon! Followed by fig, apple Brie and the prosciutto and fig neck and neck. Vibes are interesting. Now that school is back in session at the university the crowd is less sexy and more youthful. Nothing wrong with it just an observation.

    Epic Italian Beef Panini

This is a love letter of sorts. As always, consistency is key to a successful business - particularly restaurants IMHO. Postino does not disappoint! The service is excellent every single visit. Their menu is concise and everything I've tried including the Bruschetta Boards (so perfect to share with a friend or partner) with Gluten Free or Gluteny breads are spot on & the perfect afternoon nosh to go with a glass of good wine or pitcher of beer. Lately, I order the Salmon plate or the P.R.E.A.M bowl and both are healthy options that feel high-end but aren't a high-end price. This visit we enjoyed the happy chatter of the other guests while sipping a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc & eating paninis: the 9 Iron, an epic Italian Beef & an OMG Grilled Cheese were exactly what we wanted before heading to see a movie. The GM stopped by our table & after finding out it was a birthday, sent over some Hot Donut Dots with a trio of sweet dips (the donuts have a tiny 'handle' for easy dipping), gratis. THANKS AGAIN. Their service is always delivered with a smile & attentive, whole staff service. If you haven't stopped here, you ought to try their happy hour, a real misnomer since they have Hours, not 1 or 2, of great prices on wine, beer, and a few ciders from across the world. Check out their wine club if Vino is your thingo. With all the things going on in the world, this is a welcome respite where I am reminded how I feel when a business actually cares about your experience. I LOVE YOU POSTINO. And based on how we feel at your place, YOU LOVE US. (Tip: Saturdays & Sundays have brunchy special items like the Meatball Shakshuka. I've eaten shakshuka in so many places, but theirs is the BEST).

    Kristine M.

I received an email for free bruschettas (I believe by signing up for emails) and had been here before for brunch and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We ordered 8 different kinds! The Chefs choice that day was street corn and very good. We didn't particularly care for the prosciutto fig and I'm normally a fan of that. We also had the French onion, artichoke, burrata with bacon and tomato, basil with mozzarella, pistachio with ricotta and dates and finally salami pesto. They have quite the selection for all tastebuds. I love that They pre cut each bruschetta piece into 4 separate easy to handle AND to share, pieces. They offer $6 wines before 5:00. A patio where you can bring pups. Great apps and brunch. Our waitress was not great but her "helper"Jax was fabulous!! A cute date place or girlfriend meet-up.

    Maiko K.

I fell in love with their bruschettas in another location and I finally got to try this place in Tucson! They did not disappoint. I like that they have gluten free options as well. I also like their mocktail options. My server was professional and gave me good recommendations. I love the vibe of the restaurant and appreciate that the music is not that loud. This sure won't be my last time here!

The boards. We had smoked Salmon, whipped Feta etc ..
    Cher C.

Been wanting to experience this establishment for awhile. Well, we did! Great place. So inviting & we did patio seating. Service was excellent! Pricing, great! Atmosphere was wonderful & style wise really Chic Inside & Out. Speciality *Boards*, Wines & great selection of Paninni's with choice of breads. See pics with descriptions on our orders for the day & Menu! Total--$100+ Tip. We'll worth the visit! We'll be back!!

Is it possible for group of 6-7 to sit physically distanced on your patio? You guys did a great job with a couple, but can't remember whether you can accommodate a group that size...?

I don't think the patio has the space to accommodate a group that size and keep them socially distanced. I'm sure if you called and asked they could easily tell you.

Do they have a happy hour?

Yes they have a great happy hour from open to 5pm, $5 glasses of wine and pitchers of beer!

Does this location have $25 boards and a bottle of wine on Mondays and Tuesdays?

    Yes after 8 PM though.

The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. These drinks are innovative, thoughtful, and aesthetically pleasing in a way that leaves you excited for more and expands one's idea of a well-made libation. Inspired by a medley of global flavors, Juniper started off as a side project from a local brewery and unexpectedly exploded into a swanky hangout with zero seats left open on weekend nights. Yes, virtually everything on the menu is gin-based. But that shouldn't scare you away! Gin is essentially a neutral spirit infused with botanicals and/or citrus, so if you had a bad experience with one brand, there will be another out there you'll fall in love with. Elliott, the General Manager of the bar, elevates the passionate curation of his menu to perfection. Here are some examples of what you might fall in love with: Balzy Maracuya: A 'maracuya' is a passion fruit beverage originating from South America. At the turn of each new year, there's a menu rotation that may sadly remove some of my faves. But here, at Juniper I can guarantee two things: Something uniquely enjoyable, and a gracious staff that will be happy to explain the intricacies of lesser-known spirits on the shelf. In 2026, I predict it will remain one of Tucson's hottest cocktail hangouts.

Old pews as "booth" seating and several rooms throughout the establishment. It's dark, it gives off old vibes but not in a creepy, musty way despite the place being a former mortuary. But the cocktails, oh the cocktails. These are the kind of cocktails I dream of. And the bartender completely looked like he belonged to a bygone era - cool cat vibes for sure. And he is an expert as mixology.

It feels intimate, almost cinematic. You're not walking into a bright sports bar; you're stepping into a moody, low-lit cocktail lounge built for conversation and slow evenings. The space has character: exposed wood beams, a long bar lined with bottles, soft pools of light over booths, and a relaxed, unhurried energy. It feels tucked away, which adds to the appeal. And while the lighting sets the mood, the drinks are what make it worth staying. Well-crafted, balanced, and clearly made by bartenders who take pride in their work. Strong without being sloppy. Creative without trying too hard. If you appreciate a dim, intimate setting and serious cocktails, The Owl Club delivers. It's the kind of place you settle into -- and don't rush out of.

Love the wall of chianti bottles that lead to the bar and love that the staff dress up in casual Prohibition garb. Came here for girl's night and it was everyone's first time even at the restaurant but mine. I'd had dinner a couple times in the restaurant for my birthday and had the cheese wheel fettuccine alfredo. I asked if anyone was interested in trying it and so 3 of us split it which ended up being pretty perfect. It is hands down THE BEST fettuccine alfredo. We had many drinks come to our table, the first round being the homemade limoncello. Made with local Meyer lemons, it is deliciously potent. A must try. The bartender, Ryan or Brian, he made cocktails from the heart. A couple of gals ordered "dealer's choice" drinks and they were inspired by the drinker's stories. It was really a unique experience for them and I could almost see his mind working out the chemistry of the libations. Another must try, although I didn't because I had to drive myself home. I did have a coffee with Bailey's, Amaretto, and freshly-made whipped cream. Last must try if not on a coffee drink maybe on a dessert. One person in our party thought that the drinks were on the spendy side. Many of the ingredients were house made and all top shelf. I'm from Los Angeles so an $18 drink was a normal night at the klerb. Worth mentioning if that would be a deal breaker. Worth a go. I thought it was better than the speakeasy at the Sonoran House which was too bright and not intimate. You really like feel more like you're not where you're supposed to be at The Still. There is a curio cabinet with cigars that I think are for sale. The speakeasy opens up to the patio for all the smoke suckers. Great for a small groups or date night, maybe not the first date.

From the moment we stepped into that moody, low-lit space with its perfect blend of dusty Western romance and sleek mid-century vibes, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere is intimate and enchanting--dim lights, smooth music, and that exclusive feel that makes you feel like you've discovered a secret spot just for you. What truly made the evening unforgettable was the incredible staff. Jamie, our bartender, was an absolute star! She crafted the most delicious cocktails we've ever tasted--each one perfectly balanced, creative, and bursting with flavor. We couldn't stop raving about how spot-on every drink was; they were truly next-level. Even more impressive was the manager, Nini, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt completely comfortable. With my husband using a wheelchair, accessibility can sometimes be a challenge, but Nini was so kind, attentive, and accommodating. She personally helped us find the perfect accessible seat without any hassle, making us feel welcome and cared for right away. That level of genuine hospitality turned a great night into an exceptional one. The drinks were delicious from start to finish, and the whole experience left us smiling and already planning our next visit.
