I have not directly done business with them, but never will! This store is owned by blantant racists as shown in their history of reviews. My friend and I were grabbing food from the restaurant next door named "Tacos Azteca" (amazing and cheap food, highly recommend) and as we were waiting, one of the ladies working from next door walks inside, goes up to the man at the cash register and begins making demands about them needing to hold her package because they were closing shop. Before he could even respond, she IMMEDIATELY begins berrating him and makes statements such as "do you understand me? Know english? No comprehende? Do you need a translater? Can you get someone who speaks english!" And drags out her sentences to talk down to him. Then she would laugh and look at the rest of us in the restaurant as if to insinuate "can you believe this guy?". Her behaviors were absolutely DISGUSTING and this whole store should be shut down. Horrible customer service. I went to print and fax something today. I had an email that was sent directly to me that only had 1 attachment and I forwarded that email to them to print. Apparently, their email system has it set up to where it attaches to previous emails and other people's emails that have the same company name or subject wording. When they printed my email, it also printed previous paperwork from April, as well as another person's paperwork from 2021 that had the same company name that was on my paperwork. I was explaining this to the guy that was helping me what happened and that this occurred last time too. Another employee interrupted and said that they had their email up to show me. She told me to come look and even turned the screen towards me to see. I was trying to explain what is happening and was showing her the emails that were attached and that one of them did not belong to me, which was compromising someone else's personal information. Also, my paperwork has specific codes and dates that are on the paperwork that was sent to me and is required to match what I fax back in order to be processed correctly. The paperwork they printed out was from April did not match. Then all of a sudden, she said she didn't like that I was looking at the screen and in fact was upset that I was looking at her email inbox. I was stunned. I reminded her that she had invited me to look at her email and even moved the screen towards me so that I could see. She then got very belligerent and got in my face and yelled that they don't have to help me and then told me I was being rude, and that I didn't do enough business with them to matter and that I was now banned from the store. I just said ok, and she continued to get up in my face saying that they can refuse anyone of service and that I am not welcome back. Again, I said ok. She continued to glare at me and I told her that I was just waiting for my receipt. She stormed off and got it and then shoved it at me and said -very sarcastically "thank you for shopping and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone so do not come back". I really don't know what happened to this person earlier that day that she had to take out her anger on me, but I will not go back. I think she got mad because I called her out on her contradictory behavior and gaslighting. Normally Kyle helps me when I come in and he is very nice to me. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt the people who frequent this place, as well as anyone looking to use them, should know. I shipped and item on January 21 from this location, when I was there I requested it to be shipped via USPS priority service. A month later I find out that the item has been returned because it was not deliverable at the address I indicated, and because it had been shipped ground service it did not cover the cost of the return so now I have to come back and pick up my package. This was the first time I heard of the package not being shipped us priority (my fault for not checking when I paid). Anyway I come to pick up my package and I'm told that I have to pay for the return fee, but the payment must be in cash. For some reason even though they have no problem charging me the first time on my credit card this time I have to pay the return fee in cash. The whole situation around not handling the return payment via credit card made it sound fishy to me at best. read more

If I could give a 0 star, I would. Shipped a legal document, signature required, that needed to be there in 2 days. Paid $50 for a one page doc in a letter envelope. After 3 days, I was made aware the document never arrived, so I tracked it. Still at DFW. Contacted the store. Abby checked on this, then came back and blamed COVID. The problem is that the scan history on UPS.com shows differently. The package sat at their location for over a day, then went to Ft Worth. Sat for a day and half, then went to DFW and has sat for almost a day. When Abby got her "Manager" on the phone, we were met with "not our fault, it's Corona, and we can't issue any refund". They were made aware of the delay, and hadn't reached out to me. I was the one who found the issue. This "Manager" was pathetically uncooperative and actually tried to tell us how "we were wrong", even though we were looking right at the UPS.com screen. For a small town postal shipment location, absolutely no concern over their public perception. $50 refund vs as much bad press I can give them. DO NOT USE THEM FOR SHIPPING. THE "MANAGER" SHOULD FIND A NEW POSITION THAT ALLOWS FOR NO HUMAN CONTACT. read more

This place meets a service but if there is another choice I wont use them. I had a parcel going back to Amazon that had to be dropped off. I dont have a printer at home so I had them print it. They are being compensated by UPS for every package that passes through their doors. The charged 10 cents to print the label. Thats just silly. I dont carry cash so I dug around in my Jeep with no luck. So I told her to just put it on my CC, instead she says, you can just pay it next time. When I had an Amazon TV return to a 3rd party electronics store I took it to Post Net and dropped it off as usural. The TV was never shipped out or received by anyone. Buyer Beware!!! Ask questions of every package before they put the label on. The owner will assure you its the cheapest available and not confirm the prices and unfortunately they got me on this one since I was in a hurry. I asked for ground USPS with no Rush. They put everything priority and then told me 2 of the packages couldn't be sent any way but FedEx. I went to the Post Office the next day because it seemed shady and it absolutely could have gone USPS for 1/3 of what the owner charged me. I promise they WILL overcharge you if you are distracted and in a hurry. I did catch 1 of the 7 packages I was going to mail and stopped them from sending that. A 2 lb box less than 12 in, he tried to charge $52!! It's my fault for not making him give me all the price options but seriously this is shady business practices. They are not unfriendly but they are not honest with customers especially new customers. The owner was bragging about being top in sales and now I know why. I should have taken my packages and left but I was so completely shocked and didn't realize until I got home how much he overcharged and the items were shipped the most expensive method he could send them next to overnight. So sad that someone needs an upcharge this bad. I will not go here again and recommend no one else goes either. read more

WAY OVERCHARGES! I took in 2 packages as I happen to be at Walmart and it was right there. They wanted to charge me $24.59 for one and $49.99 for the other. I send the smaller one via UPS for $8.59 and the larger one also via UPS for $17.89. It was worth the drive to an ACTUAL UPS store. I will say the gentlemen inside was very friendly. I have dropped off several packages that were prepaid no problem and will continue to do so but I will never go to them to print a label. read more

The owner has the worst idea of customer service. If UPS/FedEx/DHL/etc lose your shipment, you have no recourse. The claim must be filed by Postnet. They have zero financial incentive to file and chase down any claim because they will not refund you unless they receive a refund from the carrier. The corporate office will not help since all locations are franchisees. Their solution was for me to contact the owner of the location where the bad service was received. read more

I have been a loyal customer of PostNet Roanoke since May 2017 when I started my new company RV Tech Mobile Services LLC. I use this address as my virtual office since they have all of the services I need as a small business such as copying, printing, mail, and shipping of parts back to distributors. Time and again over the past three years they have earned my business every day in their exceptional customer service. I know each and every member of the team there and they all know me by first name, like my personal banker this is my personal office staff and I try to patronize their store over the USPS or UPS, FEDEX etc to make sure that I return to them the same respect that they do for my business. Our Company turns 3 this year, and we have served over 600 customers each year, and without PostNet Roanoke as my "back office" and being able to count on them to receive and ship parts and supplies to me, notify me of new incoming mail in my box, and all the other services we would not have been able to help all these customers with their mobile RV repair service needs. Don't count on insurance if your package arrives broken. I shipped an item and because it was poorly packaged (described by recipient) it arrive in pieces. When I submitted a claim on the insurance which they sold me, I was assured that it would be taken care of. When I checked on the status after a month, I was told the claim had been filed and it would just be a couple more weeks, but when I checked with FedEx myself, I found out that there was no action on this shipment. I confronted the owner with this information. His response was to rudely state that he did not handle claims, he had people to do this for him and he was too busy to keep up with everything. I was being very unreasonable to expect him to know what was going on. He claimed that FedEx was lying to me, not him. I needed to get off his back and be patient. (this was after 2 months!). Interestingly, my next call to FedEx revealed that a claim had been filed two days after this confrontation. A month later a call to FedEx revealed that Post Net had not responded to a request for documentation and that the deadline for filing a claim was up. Again I was rudely accused of expecting too much from the owner. "These things take time." FedEx did finally deny the claim but PostNet said they had them re-open it and, as a result, I did get a check for the amount I had insured the item for. What should have been a simple, straight-forward business dealing turned out to be a nightmare of lies, excuses, and evasions. Not once did I receive any kind of an apology for the delay or an explanation of why it took them so long to file the claim. And, of course, they never took any responsibility for poor packaging which could be clearly seen from the pictures of the item when it arrived. This is a friendly place with friendly people as long as nothing goes wrong and you need to get it taken care of. Then they become defensive, dishonest and rude. I, too, like to use small businesses whenever possible, but I expect even small businesses to display professionalism and to act like they care about me as a customer. This has definitely turned me against Post Net franchises in general. Beware if you are shipping something important. read more
