I went to the store located at Eisenhower and saline Road in Ann Arbor . I have been to this store many times I am even an awards member . Today was such a horrible experience. I came in about 3:25 pm ordered sandwich and chili . The young lady who took my order was kind but the girl named Neptune was absolutely horrible, but sure if she was having a bad day or what but she made my sandwich, barely asked what I wanted on it , did not ask what kind of cheese in my sandwich then I asked for cheese added to my chilI she literally went to the sandwich counter and crumbled cheese into my chilI then handed my sandwhich to me over the sandwich counter, after she rung me up she left the chili on the counter I had to ask for a bag to put my items in which seemed like I was bothering her. plz look at your audio so you can see for yourself .The manager of this location needs to have a conversation with this person because this was terrible customer service . At this point Potbelly can have my remaining award points cause I refuse to return to this place. read more

I went back to back and on both days, I got the wreck with everything but the oil. This is their signature item. The price point and the size of the sub is perfect. Made our way here after a morning of shopping nearby--our second choice, after we found our first one closed for the holiday. Been years since I've hit a Potbelly and I remembered them being good, but we left wishing we could have gone where we wanted to. My wife got the turkey/avocado sub and thought it was OK. Turkey was good, avocado slices were tender, but swiss cheese on the sandwich was very bland; ranch dressing would have helped it, she said. I ordered the misnamed Powerhouse salad. Now, I realize, salads are not the emphasis here, though many sandwich shops make decent ones. At Potbelly, they're just an afterthought. The salad was prepackaged, never a good sign. The hummus topping it was flavorless; most of the avocado chunks were rock-hard. Plenty of roast chicken cubes on it, but very little flavor to them. Ranch dressing was fine, but nothing was going to save this salad. 3 stars for my wife's sub, one for my salad, two for this Potbelly overall. read more

The original Pot Belly on Lincoln Avenue in Chicago will always be my favorite (40+ years ago). It was amazing. Sandwiches are still excellent now; my husband and I shared a big Wreck with all the condiments. I do think this location needs a deep cleaning. Our table was actually grimy. It's the two seater near the soda machine. We wiped our places down when we left- and no kidding....the napkin was black. read more

It is so annoying to go to this place because they always pushing the tipping thing on you. It's so uncomfortable people know how to read.

They should have used the closing time during the pandemic to do some deep cleaning. That grease and dust build up in the hood is a fire hazard and it might be falling in the food below. The fans have about a half an inch of dust bunnies. And the lights are gross too. I have dust allergies and I started coughing as soon as I sat down. I had a previous good experience at Potbelly, prior to this visit, so I decided to give it another go. I had to confirm if it was truly good, or maybe it was a one hit wonder that had sat in my stomach on just the right day. I left this second interaction very disappointed. The sandwich was simply bland. The bread was small, even though I ordered the "Big" tier, and the roast beef was incredibly fatty. I found that I had to open up my sandwich and cut out the masses of fat that bordered my roast beef. Taking a piece of my brother's tuna sandwich was yet another disappointment. I have made better tunas in my kitchen, so overall I felt not only still hungry, but having chosen poorly in visiting Potbelly a second time. Subway is not the healthiest option, but I'd rather go there, where the footloose will be more filling and slightly more affordable.  Service was mediocre, one waiter repeatedly having to ask, "what" and re-confirm what I asked for. Followed by the second waitress not having any social interaction or welcoming demeanor at all. It is arguably my fastest meal ever, having been in and out of the disappointment within 30 minutes. I compensated for the lack of flavor and genuine customer service by going to the great WholeFoods nearby.  As for drinks, it was nice to see an establishment that offered both Coke  and Pepsi. The ice tea is labeled as sweet, but it is not.  The tables were dirty with bread crumbs, and the napkin dispensers were much like those in a Cinemark, where you stand there for a minute just pulling one by one. The bathroom was a clean solo room with a single toilet.  Overall, I would not go back to a Potbelly, as it simply tastes bland and does little to fill me up. read more

Potbelly is my favorite quick, cheap sandwich place. This location also happens to be one of the better ones! Very quick, friendly service and the tables are almost always clean - every when it's super busy! One of my favorite things about Potbelly is their decision board. If you're ever unsure of what sandwich to order, they will give you a dart and you can throw it at their decision dart board for help! Personally, I love the classic turkey on wheat, but I have not heard anyone complain about any of the choices! In addition to sandwiches, they offer milkshakes, smoothies, and cookies. Do not get me started on their cookies. They are SO GOOD. The sugar cookies are THE best. I can't imagine how much butter or sugar is in each one, but they always melt in your mouth... ugh now I'm drooling. Guess I need to go to Potbelly today... :) read more

Pulled pork, fresh sandwiches, live entertainment!! Very nice place. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating as well. Sandwiches are full of meat and their malts are great. Had the vanilla coffee milkshake and it was great. The gentleman singing with the guitar had me feeling like I was in an old coffee house. The food here is so good, it's like comfort food on a crappy day. The sandwiches always taste fresh and are nice and warm. The prices are very reasonable too. If you're like me and are addicted to pickles, they sell huge pickles as well. I usually always order the roast beef sandwich and it satisfies my roast beef craving because their roast beef isn't almost bloody like some places I've been, and it's not crazy dry either. The employees that work at this location are always very friendly, and the atmosphere is pretty laid back for eating inside as well. Always a good old faithful! read more

I've eaten at this location for years. I don't know what's changed lately but the turkey and swiss sandwiches we got today were bland and soggy. I called to find out if they are using different turkey and they person who answered the phone didn't think so. I recommend lots of peppers and other spices if you get the turkey. read more

Well, the food is the same anywhere you go but the customer service here is great. Location is quite spacious, have no trouble finding parking, and is always clean. They always seems to have more than enough people working behind the counter. It gets quite busy during lunch hour here here but I have never spent more than 5 minutes before getting my order in even with 15 people ahead of me. They also come out and start taking orders in the line when the oven gets backed up. Its nice to see a business actually paying attention to such details to keep customers happy. read more

I'm in town from California, on work, and I am a huge sandwich fan. I'm always trying new sandwich shops. Places like Jimmy Johns and Jersey Mikes are new to me. Both of which I now know, and like. I decided to stop at Potbelly today as I am moving into a place just down the road and hoped to find my new go to sandwich joint. The atmosphere is fine. The service was obviously bored and lacked any enthusiasm whatsoever. I ordered the Italian sandwich on what they call "regular" bread (white). They didn't inform me that they toast every sandwich and didn't see that they had done so as I couldn't see over the bar (I'm over 6ft tall). After noticing it was toasted the next person helping me noticed my displeasure and offered to have another non-toasted one made for me. I accepted, hesitantly, and sat down to eat after paying a hefty $10+ for the smaller size sandwich combo. I took two bites and realized THE BREAD ISNT FULLY COOKED! I was so disgusted with the taste and texture of it, I dropped it back on the counter and left. How do you offer someone a sandwich on bread that isn't even fully cooked? WTH! I ended up going across the parking lot to Di Bella's Subs ($9 combo). SOOOO much better. Wish I didn't have to pay $19 for lunch today, but I guess its worth finding my new sandwich joint. DONT GO TO BELLY BUSTER unless you like sad service and Quiznos type crap sandwiches. read more

There is not anything spectacular about this place. It's your run of the mill chain restaurant. Macaroni and cheese is, thin, lack luster and bland. I got the mushrooms and red peppers In the macaroni and cheese, neither were cooked so having raw veggies in the mac & cheese was pretty gross. The mushroom flatbread was fine for the price. Shakes are ok, again not anything out of the ordinary. If you're in the area I would probably just by another place. Staff are ok, not overtly friendly but no customer service issues so no issues with that. read more
