In Michigan for a few days a ran across this popular diner near my hotel. Enjoyed a great omelette and hash browns for dinner. Good food, quick service and fair prices.

This is a great place for any meal any time of day. (Minutes away from our hotel). It's even worth a little extra drive from downtown as the prices are nearly 1/2 of what you would pay and the food is freshly made to order. The service is fast and the entire staff is really friendly. All the servers are excellent. Danielle our server was amazing and we went back several times. She always made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home! Salads are chilled, crisp and the dressings are really nice. Entrees are generous, served hot at the table and the cooks do an amazing job of making your meals special. Everything is good in here although our favorites were the gyro platter, any salads, chicken parm, club and burgers, kabobs, Greek entrees and the breakfasts with the best tasting pancakes around! I'm going 1 last time before I leave this week and I'm ordering a breakfast for dinner. Excellent quality, generous portions, freshly made and friendly service can't be beat in this area!

Leo's Coney Island Ypsilanti was across the street from my hotel and became my breakfast spot of choice after my first visit. As with many of the Coney Island Restaurants - Leo's has a history dating back to 1972. For breakfast I ordered the spinach and feta cheese omelette with onions & tomatoes with sliced tomatoes on the side. My order came out of the kitchen lickety-split, hot and well plated. The portion size was more than enough for one person, I had enough left over for breakfast the next day. The restaurant was clean and following all of the Covid 19 guidelines as required by the state of Michigan. The staff was attentive and friendly and quick with the coffee refills. Win ..win ..

Please do not go here. I used to eat at this location for what feels like two decades. Today when eating my normal eggs Benedict order I found not one but TWO foreign bug like objects baked into my poached egg. When I called to tell them what I found in my food, there was absolutely no concern. When I called to inform them I found something in my other egg they still said "we'll just throw the pot out". This wasn't even escalated beyond a waitress. Extremely disappointed, disgusted, and horrified with this place. My next call will be to the health department.

I have been here before but it had been a while. It was one of those days when I had a taste for a Coney Dog. On entering you seat yourself. I brought my laptop but I was told they did not have wifi so thank God for a Hot Spot on my phone. I ordered a Coney, onion rings and a salad. Upon the arrival of the coney I was curious. I have been around coneys long enough to know the smell. This did not smell good. It smelled spoiled or maybe this was a bad chilli day. I was not going to try the coney if the smell was not appealing. The waitress said she could replace it but I said no thank you. I proceeded to eat my onion rings and salad. I have been here and have had good coneys before. My taste buds were not satisfied on this day. I will try again on another day.

Tried this place for the first time the other day when I ordered it for lunch via DoorDash. Tried…read moreto mix it up and ordered the Kafta combo meal (typically a chicken shawarma gal). The portion was enormous. I chose half rice/half veggies as my side and the chicken lemon soup as a starter. It also came with three small fluffy (and delicious) pieces of pita bread along with a small side of incredible garlic sauce. My takeaways - the kafta was yummy but a tad dry. More dry the next day when I reheated the leftovers. It probably would have been incredible eaten fresh in the restaurant. The rice was good and I liked the texture. The veggies were crisp but slightly too charred for my liking. I was surprised the soup didn't have rice, but the flavors were on point and I really enjoyed it. As previously mentioned, the pita and garlic sauce were superb. I easily could have gotten three meals out of this one entree- an incredible value. I'll definitely try it again!

This place has been on my list of places to check out. Had an errand in the area today around…read morelunchtime so this was a logical stop. I'd planned to eat in, but that doesn' t seem to be what they're set up for these days. There are some tables along the walls, but no one was sitting at them and there were no placemats, silverware etc. set down. The center of the restaurant was wide open and empty, and the whole place had this air of bereftness. I'd swear I'd walked back into late 2020. There were some take-out orders on the counter, and guess those represent the bulk of their business now. The person at the counter seemed surprised when I said I was there to order, not pick up, and confused by taking my order in person. What I ordered was a greek salad w/ chicken. That would be a few minutes, she said, since she would have to go into the kitchen and cook the chicken. Must have been the only one working. I'd expected to to wait a bit, so I sat down at one of the tables along the wall, but had already decided I was going to take the salad to go. The atmosphere was kind of depressing, and I didn't like the picture of me sitting alone in the empty restaurant under the gaze of the lone employee. I'd rather eat alone in my car. Plus, there was an unpleasant rancid smell hanging about. Once I'd parked in a quiet, shady spot and opened the clamshell, my first look at the salad wasn't encouraging. Lettuce seemed tough and a bit dry, lot of outer leaves. Only a light sprinkling of feta, and no pepperoncini. The kalamatas were pale and very hard--it took some pushing to get a fork into one. When I ate one it had little flavor. I didn't eat any more. Two cups of creamy-style greek dressing were tucked into the greens, and these tasted more oily than tangy. And I should menton, I paid $20 for this delightful entree. I get greek salads fairly regularly, and have had them at many diners and middle eastern restaurants, and I can say this was the second worst one I have ever had. The only saving grace to it was the chicken. A heaping portion of it, very tender and lightly seasoned. The chicken is the only reason this place gets two stars instead of one. If the hummus and tabouli here are decent, a few slices of the chicken with those would make a pretty good meal. But in spite of the glowing yelps others have given, I am not at all inclined to return and confirm that.

Plenty of parking as it's right next to Target!…read more They have a cozy atmosphere and cool art all over the wall. The employee was nice. Unfortunately, they didn't provide a cup of water (I'm too cheap to buy water). The food was good! We ordered Falafel salad and rice and Chicken Shawarma bowl. Both were delicious! My husband pointed out that the garlic sauce on the chicken shawarma looked a little...like something else. But it was garlic sauce (yet it looks different in other people's pictures). Anywho, they give you big portions for affordable prices ($10)!! And it's tasty!

I was in the target shopping plaza on Carpenter Road when a powerful paying of hunger overtook me…read more I left left and right to see what is available to eat. I had seen this shot before, but had never been in. So I ventured in to the Brothers St., Food. It features Halal gyros and a few other Mediterranean options. I went up and ordered from the friendly man behind the counter . Although I was very hungry, I really only wanted something quick and small so I ordered the traditional Gyro without fries. I sat down and waited for my order, which was done in under five minutes. I took it home to eat and was very surprised at the generous size of the sandwich. The meat was flavorful. The tzatziki dressing was just the right amount. It wasn't dripping out of the bottom yet there was plenty of it. There was room to sat down and eight in as there are booths and a couple of small tables, but like I said, I was in a hurry. The bread was soft and overall, it was a very delightful sandwich . I would go back again and try other items. You should too!
