Very pricey, customer service hit or miss at both Ann Arbor locations. Salads pretty consistent.

I had the hummus crunch salad, it was delicious . The flavors blended well together and it was refreshing the bread crumbs and cucumbers provided a great crunch. The workers were very helpful as it was my first time there. Loved all of the decor as well bright and colorful.

I'm obsessed! I've ordered this garden cobb salad 3 times in the last week. It's so fresh & flavorful! Highly recommend! They also have an app & monthly subscription with $3 off each salad per day! Love!

New Sweetgreen location on a very busy road. This location has always given me all the right ingredients, and makes orders quickly. I find that for the price, you don't really get that much food, the portions are small. However, you get the most in the bowls. My go to order is the harvest bowl, add cucumber, chickpeas, and tomato, pesto dressing and a lime.

When I heard that a Sweetgreen was coming to Ann Arbor, I was so excited. SG is one of the things I missed most about living in DC (SG is based in DC and they are everywhere there). However, I was disappointed in this location. While the salad was good, it was not of the quality I had come to expect of Sweetgreen. Furthermore, they really skimped on the serving size at this location. Usually the salad is filled to the brim, but at the Ann Arbor location my salad was only half full. Quite sad to have my enthusiasm be stifled by this. However, this may be due to the location being so new. I plan to come again later and try again once the dust of the grand opening settles. I am optimistic that this location will improve.

I love a good salad, so I was excited to finally check out sweetgreen while in Ann Arbor recently…read more Nate and I chose this location for its proximity to another spot we wanted to visit (York) as well as its available parking lot vs. the downtown location. I had browsed the menu a bit beforehand, and decided I wanted the caramelized garlic steak protein plate. They also have bowls (greens + grains base) and salads. Unfortunately they were all out of the steak and it was going to be a 10 minute wait, and they were also out of the roasted sweet potatoes so I ended up kind of building my own bowl with mixed greens, rice, blackened chicken, tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli, and pesto vinaigrette. I liked that they mixed up the bowl for me since it can be tough to mix in those small to-go containers. They also asked if I wanted light, regular, or heavy dressing - I said regular, but would probably go light next time. We also got a piece of bread on the side. They have a designated outdoor seating area by the parking lot, which was great for the nice day. I loved my bowl and everything was super fresh and very flavorful. It was also a huge portion! We definitely could have split one bowl. I will say that it was super salty. Nate liked his shroomami bowl even though we both thought the kale could have been massaged a bit to make it softer. I'm hoping sweetgreen will expand to Grand Rapids - we do have CoreLife but I'd love to have this option too!

People very friendly and helpful. You get to see them make it right in front of you and put the wraps in the grill. We got the Detroit Gyro, Detroit Chicken Shawarma, and the Super Dearborn. We also ordered a bunch of sides (see photo) including hummus, pickles, and peppers. The food was great especially with the additional toppings. I'm sure anything you get it will be great here. If I had gotten my full order it probably would have been a 5 star meal. I had the Dearborn sandwich which was basically a chicken shawarma, dark chicken meat with garlic paste and pickles. It was GREAT. I added extra protein so it was stacked. Their garlic paste (toum) was also awesome. My husband was away at a conference so I could get freaky with the garlic and ordered an extra side of it to dip my fries in it, too. Alas, no fries so I dipped my sandwich right into it instead. It was POTENT and delicious! Just how I like it. I also ordered a small hummus and pita chips. It was a pretty generous serving for small and was excellent. Nice and smooth and the pita chips were so good! I ran out of pita chips so I'd add an extra side of those next time. So yes, there will be a next time, because it was really good, but I'll be sure to ask my delivery person to double check that everything is in the bag next time.

The staff are very friendly and nice. The outside has umbrellas so it's perfect for rainy and sunny weather. The corned beef hash was delicious! It had some crispyness and great flavor! You order at the counter then they seat you. The atmosphere is very cozy, rustic and cool. You can imagine being in a commercial almost. Service was friendly all visits. Food selections are brunch focused with breakfast favorites like traditional breakfast, breakfast burrito, Pancakes, and more. There are some sandwiches as well. Food quality was good for most items we had over the visits with just a few average (not bad but not great). They stop by for coffee refills and whatever you need. Definitely worth a try! So while it was chaotic and overwhelming, the workers would hand you a menu, explain the purchasing process and even give you requested samples! Due to trying a sample of their pretzel, I ended buying a bag. An $8 bag!!! It was perfectly crunchy and buttery and very good! I don't even like pretzels and these impressed me. Also got a $9 bag of only 5 palmier cookies. They were good but definitely a splurge. BF bought a small bottle of balsamic vinegar for $23, like wut?! I eyed a jar of salsa for $28 and jam for $16 but damn, everything was way above even farmer's market prices. The sandwiches start at $18 for a small and go to $24 for a large. BF and I got the chicken avocado on challah bread and a new crunchy pickle. Zingerman's does a good job with their pickles! Skins were a little too hard but I love that they're not overly pickled and still crunchy and not too much other seasoning. For $21, the sandwich was not very big and they don't include chips or fries. If I lived closer, heck yes I would come here pretty often to try a sample and buy a very expensive baked good. I appreciated the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was giving Trader Joe's employee energy! Parking was a little tricky but not impossible. We came with locals so they knew what was up.
