We frequent this location over Jersey Mikes across the street as we prefer hot sandwiches over cold. The staff is always friendly and food comes out quick. My only complaint is for the soap dispenser in the women's restroom. I wasn't expecting it to shoot out across the bathroom sink . Maybe the wrong soap is being used for the dispenser. My favorite thing at Potbelly is the jar of hot peppers. The last two times here I didn't even buy a sandwich. I just bought several jars of hot peppers. I tried finding something similar to the Chicago Giardiniera sold at the grocery store and nothing could come close to the spiciness and flavor of Potbelly hot peppers. This location usually has hot peppers available at the front counter. I've also been able to order them at the drive-thru. The sandwiches are good. I like the hot peppers on my Potbelly sandwich, but sometimes there aren't enough peppers and the oil from the peppers soak through the wrapping. Now I use the hot peppers at home on homemade salad, sandwiches, or alone as a snack. read more

Growing up I remember a time when Subway was the only sub sandwich chain that existed. I think the first restaurant that challenged its dominance initially was Quiznos, which obviously hasn't been very successful in recent years. But now we have plenty of options in this particular market, and I am confident when I say that Potbelly is my favorite franchise for sandwiches. It's not even just their sandwiches, but also their soups, salads, shakes and decor (it doesn't hurt that they carry my favorite potato chip brand, Zapp's). This particular location is the closest to my home, and I was itching to satisfy my cravings. We ordered the Turkey Avo and Steakhouse Beef sandwiches with a side of Broccoli Cheddar and Chicken Pot Pie soups. I was very pleased with the service here as well and it helped that I came at a time that wasn't as busy as usual. Overall we were satisfied with our meal, but I have to admit I wasn't a fan of the presentation of the sandwiches. I understand that taking food to go runs the risk of them being messy, but that was never really a problem for me with Potbelly as they were always good with wrapping them. I was annoyed mostly by how thick the avocado was in my sandwich because it made all the other ingredients slip and slide so it didn't hold well. Flavor was there, just needed a little more care. She called, talked to the Manager (Colin), who was very professional, and he offered either an in store credit for the next visit or he'd remake the sandwich if I wanted to go back up there. Since she was hungry (hangry at this point), I drove back up there. He apologized to me, remade the sandwich and gave me a couple of coupons for our next visit. This place is the slowest pot belly's I have ever been at. Only two cars in the drive thru and it takes forever to get your order. They have given me the wrong sandwich in my delivery order THREE times now. Each time I ordered from here again I waited several months and then I figured, they couldn't possibly mess up that bad again. But they do. I live outside of their delivery zone so have to order through Doordash, but the mistakes have not been Doordash's fault. The outer bag containing my order always has my name and order info on it. But Potbelly either makes me the wrong sandwich or gives me someone else's sandwich with their name on the smaller sandwich bag. When I have called the store, they just say they can't do anything and tell me I either need to come in and pick up a new sandwich or contact Doordash. I understand that mistakes happen, but if the store is the one making the mistake, why can't they do anything to fix it?! It's infuriating. Normally I order the Mediterranean on original, but i wanted to try the flatbread. When I opened it to eat it, it was soaking wet. I wanted to eat my chili first while it was hot, but I was worried the bread would get soggy and gross so I ate it first. It was dripping like crazy, and didn't taste very good. Had the opportunity to swing in here for a quick lunch on the way up north. It was around noon and the parking lot was jammed so I figured I'd have to wait 30 or so minutes but that was not the case! I ordered 3 Cuban sandwiches and I was in and out in 10 minutes. The sandwiches are hot and the bread is crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. The cuts of mean we're fantastic and a great combination. It was 30 bucks for three sandwiches, 3 chips, and two waters. Canton finally got a Potbelly's of its own. I had the Big Italian (with peppers - gotta get the peppers!) on multigrain bread and cup of Cream of Tomato soup. Soup was indeed creamy and had a nice hint of basil. The bread was fresh and the sandwich was great. I am fan of Jimmy John's, but a hot sandwich for the same price range is a big plus to me. Going from memory, their prices probably beat Quizno's comparing hot sandwich purveyors. With outdoor seating and a little bit more atmosphere (even if it is only franchise cheeseball), this place will easily put a big dent in the revenue of our local Subway, Jimmy John's and Quizno's. read more

I've been to this particular Potbelly three times now, and I know my experience was not a fluke. I ordered (via drive-thru) the "A Wreck" sandwich Bigg (extra meat) on multigrain bread. Each time the sandwich was constructed like a work of art. It looked like I would have expected, and tasted even better! I also tried their SouthWestern Chicken soup and it was great! The prices are pretty darned reasonable considering the product quality. The staff (I've had different one's each time) are so happy, professional, and really seem to enjoy & take pride in their work. I wish I encountered more of that on a day-to-day basis! My favorite thing about Potbelly is their oven baked subs. I also like being able to choose the toppings I would like on my sandwich. My 2 favorites are the roast beef and the chicken and cheddar. The potato salad it really good too. I recently tried their sugar cookie and brownie cookie and they were both soft and chewy. Another interesting fact is they serve both Coke and Pepsi at this location. They have shakes as well but I haven't had one in a very long time. The one plus about this location is the drive thru. I've found plastic in my food, received soggy brown lettuce, they can never give you a side of hot peppers when you ask, and if you want all the topping on your sandwich don't count on it. On Sunday night I was craving a sandwich after my 2nd job and so I headed towardds home with the intention of trying out Jersey Mike's-- however, it was not meant to be as they closed by the time I got there (about 9:05PM). I wasn't really hungry enough or willing to pay for a sitdown meal at Basement Burger Bar just yet, so I headed over to Potbelly's across the way for a cheap sandwich and beverage. The Wreck is always my choice, with jalapenos, as I tend to not branch out of menus when i've been there before and loved my choices in the past. The bread as always was toasty hot and soft and the sandwich itself was well-made and stayed all together. The flavors of the wreck and the toppings of lettuce, onions and mayo and jalapenos meld together into a salty-spicy-sweet sandwich that I enjoy every time. Bonus that this location is open til 10PM every night, even Sundays. While I have yet to try Jersey Mike's- this place will be an old standby. read more
