That's the sandwich I'm still missing.

I placed an order on Uber eats and didn't get my boyfriends sandwich yes I was missing a whole sandwich. I called the restaurant twice and both time they put me On hold and I never got back to me.

    Where the salad belongs.

I just don't understand why they keep their coolers so cold. I brought home a Farmhouse salad and began to eat it 30 minutes after I left Potbelly's. It was so cold it was inedible. The lettuce was wilted because ice crystals had pierced the cell walls. I pulled out my infrared thermometer and, wow, 37 degrees. I don't know how anyone handling the different salad components didn't register that they were practically frozen. Poor training? Not paying attention? Corporate office just focused on the bottom line? Probably the last time I choose to eat here, and I've been coming for almost a decade.

Registers don't work! What??? Can't they use a calculator? Why are doors open then for? Have and iPod for back up and use square to register or something. now I have to go to another potbelly for a few miles to eat!!!

Mmmmmm.....sub-a-licious! Big fan of the Big sandwiches, vanilla or chocolate shakes and Sheila's Dream Bars. I was looking forward to the debut of The Clubby, but was a little underwhelmed. I think I'll stay loyal to the Italian or A Wreck. Internet ordering is fast, easy and convenient, and has a surprisingly friendly user-interface. Nicely done, Potbelly. (Give it a try...it really was a pleasant surprise). Also, as opposed to some other Potbelly locations, this one actually has fountain soda...a great improvement over a fridge full of cans and bottles. And of course, the subsequent free refills are always a plus too.

I've found myself grabbing a quick lunch at this Potbelly's location a few times lately. I usually avoid bread which explains why I'm new to this sammy stop. I am thrown back in time every time I walk in the doors. There's a college-y vibe: a neighborhood bulletin board littered with flyers of local on-goings, a young happy staff, and on Fridays, a dude playing guitar and singing. I like it. Potbelly's has a clear commitment to offering healthy eats in addition to their dessert tray, shakes and more decadent sammy selections. They provide a calorie count for each and every menu item. I get the skinny turkey sammy paired with a side of chili. 400 calories for the sandwich and 185 calories for the side of chili. No potbelly on this lady. This joint keeps my fitbit happy!

    Chicken Salad-less sandwich. Gross!

Staff were polite but disorganized. Trays were wet. The floor needed a cleaning. Music was too loud. Just... meh.

It's all about balance and moderation when it comes to my meals. I've not been a fan of fake chicken breast because it never tastes right. I'm was really blown away by Skinny Butcher Crazy Crispy Chick'n! These chicken sandwiches really taste like chicken. The breading on the outside is crispy and the sandwich bite is fantastic. I'm truly amazed at how fantastic these plant based chicken sandwiches tasted. We ordered the Original Chick' Sandwich, Buffalo Chick'n Sandwich and the Chick'n Parm Sandwich. All of the sandwiches came on a potato roll. Which is honestly the best roll ever made. It's soft and absorbs all of the flavors. It's the perfect bun for any sandwich. The Original Chick' Sandwich comes with a mayo sauce and pickles. The Buffalo Chick'n Sandwich has a mayo based blue cheese sauce plus pickles. The buffalo sauce is really tasty with just the right amount of kick. This sandwich was definitely my favorite. I truly loved the spicy kick. I thought I was eating a real chicken sandwich. I also needed to try the Chick'n Parm Sandwich. Hey I'm Sicilian! Let's put this place to the rest. It was fried golden brown and topped with marinara sauce, oregano, fresh basil and melted mozzarella, provolone & parmesan cheeses. My Nonna would have thought this was a fresh real chicken breast. I highly recommend all of the plant based sandwiches here. They also have waffle fries! It's been since forever since I had waffle fries. I loved how tasty they were. It reminded me of being a kid. I'm not an expert when it comes to plant based food. I just want my food to taste good and not be filled with chemicals. They advertise that the plants used in this chicken are pea based and not soy based. That seems really important but I'm too lazy to search my web browser for more info. If you know the answer sent me a message. I'd love to know. Yes I'm giving you homeowner to do in my review. It's all about interacting on Yelp. This location is very unique. It is a ghost kitchen located in a Wow Bao on Clark and Diversey. You can order through Grub Hub or Uber Eats for delivery or pickup. I decided to pick it up because I didn't want my chicken sandwiches getting soggy, as they toured all of Chicago on their way to my house. Pick up was super easy. When I walked into Wow Bao I told the guy I was here for my plant based chicken sandwiches. He chuckled and immediately knew who I was. He then asked for a few minutes, as the chef in back finished building them. Plant based food is not a replacement for real meat. It's meant to help feed our planets growing population. If it can lesson the footprint, then I'm all for it. I really don't miss the meat at all, especially when it tastes this good. So if you're looking to go meatless, then this is your place. The sandwiches are solid and I highly recommend you try the Skinny Butcher because his chicken is crazy good.

The staff is famously surly, and that's clearly part of the experience, so if you know that going in it adds to the fun. It's more playful than serious and definitely gives the place its own character. I also thought it was cool how they give out free dogs after Bears wins. That kind of generosity and local spirit makes it feel like a true neighborhood staple. Definitely a memorable stop and one of those places that feels uniquely Chicago.

They had some options on the menu but we both opted for the Vienna Red Hot ("char"). It's a solid dog. The wiener is, perhaps unsurprisingly, the star of the show. It's got a terrific char and an irresistible snap. The flavor is better-than-average, too. The condiments didn't really do much for me, and I found something on there just way, way too salty. (The pickle, maybe?) Anyway, it's a quick, cheap, easy meal. I'd certainly eat it again.

It's one of the best places to get top tier cultural flavors. The location is perfectly central, approachable, but authenticly local. Decor is as you'd think a beef shop in Chicago to be, service is a little more on the cheerful side due to the Greek influence. Prices are on par with dining in the area for quality Chicago. My go to order is the Italian Combo with a gyro platter to snack on the sliced meat and fries. My 2nd fav order is the Big Daddy burger (tsaiziki and bbq on the side) and a Maxwell Street Polish giving you a bit of everything Chicago. Usually places evolve to the changing wants of the neighborhood, but they sell Greek and Italian equally well. They have always done beef tallow, and it's a shame they have to mention it becuase the rest of the world went away from that when they didn't. Great fries, and a good amount per order. I have yet to try the salads, but it's hard to wow people with them when it doesn't say Salad's in the name... The beef is tender (gyro, roast beef, burger), well seasoned, rendered. The breads are toothsome, soft, crunchy, chewy. The sauces and condiments are crunchy, smooth, blended and balanced. The pizza puff is another far less known Chicago staple for the picky eaters, they also have chicken tenders for the kids. All in all it's a 1st rate stop off for all things Beef and all things Chicago.
