I probably should have given more thought and consideration to other reviews mentioning that orders are wrong pretty frequently at this location. I placed an order for pick up and I left a 20% tip for the order only to find when I got back to my hotel room that one of the three items was missing. Wish I had checked the bag at the restaurant, but also wish that there was the option of leaving tip after the fact. I was able to call and get the price of the item reimbursed luckily, but it's like you can't really ask for a reimbursement on a tip that is awkward. read more

Classic Potbelly, and they do fine when it comes to making a sandwich. When we were getting settled after moving I ordered delivery and it came from here, and that worked ok except they didn't have the cookies that we ordered so instead of a refund they sent different flavors and some coupons for cookies. That was a crappy make-good, though, because the coupons required you to buy a sandwich in order to get the free cookies! So to recap, I paid for cookies that I didn't want and we didn't eat since they sent along replacement flavors (I mean... there's a reason that people order a particular item and not another one, right?) and then I had to pay them more money buying a sandwich if I wanted to use their coupon. We stopped in here because we were super hungry from our road trip into Chicago/Rosemont and it was across the street from our hotel. We attempted to drive, however the parking situation here leaves a lot to be desired. There were zero spots left anywhere in the lot, or around the side of the building. So, we went back to the hotel, and walked over. Inside, it's a pretty standard sandwich shop. Order what you want, while they make it, check out and sit down. It wasn't super busy so there was plenty of seating. Sandwiches are pretty standard as well. We both had the chicken club, as well as a lemon cheesecake cookie for dessert. I've popped into this Potbelly from time to time when I'm in the area. I really enjoy the sandwiches here and this time was no different. I ordered quickly as I was simply getting a sandwich to go (Biggs Mediterranean minus the feta) and I was the only one in line so it was quickly made and quite tasty. The shop itself is always clean and easy to navigate. A nice divider between those that have ordered and needing to order while you can see the menu overhead or on paper. The service is always quick and with a smile. Apparently some days or evenings they have some live music, at least that's what I gather from the corner little stage area. read more

Meh. Nothing that blew our skirts up. It was a good lunch with a bunch of coworkers in town for a meeting. We ordered online and had the food delivered. Some had salads and others had sandwich with soup. Unfortunately, a colleague found a long piece of plastic (please see attached photo) in her salad. I've been to this location many times and can't wait to have an early more showtime, so I can stay at a nearby hotel and walk to this location. My go to drink is a strawberry malt shake with Oreo and whatever sandwich strikes my fancy. All have been good. This time I knew I was going out later for a meal and wanted something smaller. I googled to find out if they had a kid menu and found a secret menu! I ordered the meatball with cheddar and hot peppers. There is even a secret section for desserts and shakes! I ordered an Oreo with the shortbread. I usually leave stuffed and if I had room in my food bag, then would have ordered their biggie and just ate half and then would have saved the other half. This potbelly store meets the Potbelly status quo. I mean, how can you really differentiate one location from another? If they are doing things correctly, teh food and service really should be the same at every location. So, the staff is usually pleasant and the food is good. Not gourmet but it works. I still like the chicken salad salad. Prices are not bad. The parking lot can be brutal, not enough spots and sometimes a death trap to get out but otherwise this is a good spot to get fresher faster food by the airport. read more

The customer service at this location is beyond words. They are ALWAYS friendly and on top of things. The app was holding a BOGO promotion and was having issues when I was placing my order. I came into the store and they gave me a free entrée coupon for the inconvenience. That's right, we needed to pickup a Pot Bellies for the flight! That's because getting a Lou Malnati's would have been messy and we probably would have to share. LOL This store was new to us as we drove down Milwaukee for the Toll Road, so we stopped in. We ordered the "big" roast beef and a meatball to go. Love Potbelly! This store is solid three stars, no more, no less. Good service, same food as other Potbelly chains, and it has a self-service station for soda, pop, or Coke- whatever you care to call it. So don't automatically grab a can of pop to dine in, like I did. This store is very tall and the noise and canned music just reverberates like you're wearing tin can earmuffs. I was wondering why there was canned music and not an acoustic guitar player playing "Sweet Baby James" or some other throwback tunes like at other Potbellys. The musician's booth was silently vacant. Of the canned music I vaguely heard the organ dirge of "Don't Dream It's Over" by Crowded House. The Potbelly acoustics made it sound like 100 disinterested people talking over a solemn funeral for a Beatle fan. I think My Morning Jacket should record their next record here, instead of in a grain silo. Later I could have sworn I heard Chicago's own unknown indie-pop meister, Devin Davis. The bandmates and I have been all about his excellent opus "Lonely People of the World Unite!" Similar in scope to Neutral Milk Hotel's "On Avery Island", "Lonely People..." is a concept album that links songs telling stories about the end of the world. Each song has its own style- acoustic, glam, rock anthems; and Davis has definitely put in many hours with records by the Kinks, David Bowie, the Beach Boys, and fingerstyle pickers. I have been a loyal customer to this particular spot as is close to my workplace and the fact that their menu is bigger (and somewhat healthier) than other sandwich chains makes it more appealing. Most of the staff is always nice and most of my orders are always on time (I pre-order) and staff are mostly friendly. There might be only one particular staff girl that with no particular reason seems to be annoyed everytime I come in. Overall I like this place. Their food quality is pretty good. Just wish the sides were not way too pricey and had more sweet treats changing from just cookies but I guess that is a corporate thing. read more

I like Potbelly's in general, but this is a weak location. I've been here for lunch several times due to the proximity to my workplace and lack of other suitable options. However, I probably will not be back because they seem to mess up my order every.single.time. While my veggie sub is in the oven, the PB employee typically asks for which toppings I want, and by the time the sub is ready for dressing the PB employee almost always forgets what I asked for and takes free rein at putting whatever toppings they want. The second thing is that they don't fill the sandwich properly. A quarter of the sub is left empty with no filling. The silver lining is this has motivated me to pack my lunch for work more often. read more

So this was my first time at a Potbelly, and now I'm really wishing we had one in Orlando! I had the roast beef sandwich and a lentil/turkey/kale soup. Both were delicious! I hope I can come back soon to try other stuff from the menu. My wife had a salad that looked absolutely delicious! We ordered a cookie (my wife raved about one she had at another location) and dream bar. Unfortunately neither lived up to the hype. Just a classic; always good; always know what I'm getting. (A wreck, of course!). Love that they have giardinera on their sandwiches and that individual jars of the good stuff can be purchased. Best part about them: hot-sandwiches with deli meats, cold salads (e.g. tuna or chicken), meatballs or other tasty combos are delicious. Hot soups are good but the creamy ones can sometimes be more watery than desired. The brownies and cookies are straight up delicious. Want a tasty, fast lunch? Need an easy, hot dinner? Classic: One word that has quickly become an accurate description of the empire that is Potbelly. Some may argue that a sandwich is just a sandwich, but even the naysayers will raise an eyebrow upon their first bite. I do find it hard to stray away from the Wreck sammich but I doubt I'll dislike anything on the menu (except anything pickle-related). I can probably boost the rating to a flush 5 when I explore the menu further, however I'll have to hold off until the disposable income becomes...well...disposable. I can't quite count how many times the lunchtime conversation will carry on from the car to the line in Potbelly, and up until the table, then go absolutely dead once everyone begins eating. The only words heard would be those of negotiations to share bites. If you couldn't already tell Potbelly is probably my favorite (chain) sandwich place, as opposed to say, Jersey Mike's...or that other place, Way Sub or something. I'm not hating on the other choices because, yeah, I eat there too, it's just that when given a choice I'm going to select PB. This particular location was nice, but they are pretty much all the same. I don't mind it because I don't go there for a unique experience, I go for a guaranteed delicious sandwich and quick service. I would like go for the live musicians one day, I went to one in Normal, IL and it was pretty cool, I wouldn't mind checking it out around the NW burbs area. I've been here plenty of times for work and I have always experienced the same great, Potbelly's service! We like to go to lunch around 1130, so we just barely beat the lunch rush. Even if we're a little later and just like any Potbelly's, their team knows how to be attentive, quick, and friendly while pumping out hundreds of delicious sammies/subs. I always go with the Wreck (with everything!)...maybe one day I will spread my wings, but you can't go wrong with the Wreck. If you're planning on sitting down with a large group (+3-4), make sure you do beat the lunch rush...and ENJOY! read more

Potbelly has vintage charm, good beverage selection for a little sandwich shop, friendly staff, and appealing vegetarian options. The staff has never made my sandwich wrong because they actually listen. Also, it is safe to pee here--the bathrooms are always clean! Sometimes, Potbelly is a four-star sandwich shop, but because of its proximity to local convention centers, this location gets packed from time to time. This is problematic for two reasons: 1) Thirty people dressed like lobsters (or whatever convention garb it may be) create a long line, so you have to wait too long to order, then wait some more for your food, then either leave and eat that food outside/in your car/at home or stalk a table like a vulture to eat it there. 2)Thirty people dressed like lobsters may stare and snicker at you for *not* being dressed like a lobster. This has happened to me, and I didn't especially care for being gawked at while I ate because I wasn't in the same special group as most of the other diners. This is just an aspect of eating anywhere in this area--with so many convention centers, concert and events venues, and hotels, anything around here is going to get weird from time to time. Heck, it makes for good people-watching (that guy dressed like Hello Kitty sure likes the soup!) sometimes, but other times, it just makes me uncomfortable. Of course, you can avoid contact with other humans altogether and have your food delivered. Takeout service is also available for those seeking a medium amount of human contact. Either way, it sure beats typical fast food options like Burger King and McDonald's. read more

Once we found a spot and got inside it surprisingly didn't take that long to work through the line. I ordered a Skinny T-K-Y and it came in a little number $5, was tasty, and I felt like I was eating healthier than other closeby lunch options.
