This mall food court stop has a variety of European-inspired offering from baguettes to crepes to skewers. I arrived there about noon and there was no line. I ordered a Fig and Pig baguette, and they began making it right away. They also had a selection of pastries, mostly flavored croissants; I ordered a caramel danish. I brought the food back to my hotel room, where I had the sandwich right away. It wasn't the most photogenic, as the greens were hidden inside, but it was actually pretty good, with plentiful fillings that were a classic, delicious combo: ham, melted Brie, fig jam, and arugula. This is a fast food kiosk in the food court at the Fashion Outlets near O'Hare Airport. It was quite a pleasant surprise for us to experience high quality, creative and truly delicious sandwiches and soup at a food court kiosk!!! Yes, the Fashion Outlets mall is a high-end shopping center that international travelers can shop at, even during a Chicago layover since it is accessible by free shuttle service from and to the airport. So, I guess a high end sandwich shop in the food court is appropriate! Take a peek at the menu posted here, and you will understand that Mari Pari is not a run of the mill food court shop! Mari Pari's service is good and quick I got: Prosciutto sandwich meal: $20 which is pretty pricy in my opinion. It was good but the jam was overpowering. The fries and sauce were good! Lukewarm service at first, poor ventilation with a strong fried food odor, but great food, and the service got better. Came in on the Memorial Day, and we were the only customers, and at first the staff barely acknowledged that we were there. I had to step out almost immediately as the smell of fried food was overpowering, likely due to poor ventilation. When you go into restaurants like this, the smell lingers in your hair and your clothes for a very long time. It's a pity as the menu and the interior looked nice. My husband and son stayed inside though as smells don't bother them as much, and they made their order (chicken wrap and chicken tenders). $24 for two food items and two waters seemed a bit pricey at first, but in the end the amount of food justified it. The order took a long time to prepare, but it was cooked in from scratch. As my husband waited, the young lady who took his order was friendlier than what I originally thought, and even threw in a free desert (rurki-cream filled wafers ... delicious!) The food was very good according to husband and son. We will likely order takeout from here in the future, and I am good to sit outside, but won't be able to sit inside due to smell. If Mari Pari fixes the ventilation to get rid of the or strong fried food smell inside the cafe, I will gladly give it another shot as the interior seems nice. read more

I used to think there was no such thing as a bad kebab. This was bad. Just call it a gyro and serve it in a pita. That way we know what to expect. The sauce was dull, the vegetables were sad, the bread was thin and fell apart, and the meat was just Sysco style gyro meat. I ended up not being able to hold it it fell into so many pieces. The sauce on the side which I presume was for the fries was chunky and not appetizing. Don't come here just for the kebab; you might be disappointed. After walking around the fashion outlets of Chicago, it should be obvious how hungry we were after all the walking. So, we decided to come on down to Mari Pari, a restaurant we always saw but never visited. We wanted to give it a shot, so we ordered. Service was okay and met the standard with no particularly bad experiences, so the service was average. The food came within a 5-8 minute range. When the food came, we didn't have very high expectations since it was in the food court of a mall, but the burger was juicy and bursting with flavor. The bun was like a cloud and was toasted. The fries were awesome and crispy. Wasn't soggy at all and paired beautifully with the burger. Probably the best burger I've had in a long time. So good we ordered two more afterwards! read more

Even though Mari Pari is in a mall, it really deserves their own restaurant. Here's why. Their burger has recently come out, and i had never been here before. I decided to get the Swiss fondue burger. My sister got the signature burger, and my other sister got their hotdog. Including a pistachio coffee. Service was quick, easy, and pretty fast. The coffee had a nice pistachio taste to it, and the coffee itself was good and creamy. The hotdog sausage was very long and Smokey, and has fries on top which was nice and filling. The signature burger had an egg on top which kind of made it have a sauce due to the runny yolk. Very good and had pickles as well which were slightly sweet. Their fries with garlic parm aioli is also very delicious, and even the fries by themselves are great too. (WARNING, THIS MENU ITEM CONTAINS MUSHROOMS WHICH SOME MAY BE ALLERGIC TO!) But to top it off, their Swiss fondue burger was superior. It was juicy, and flavorful. The bun was plush and soft, and wasn't soggy at all. You could really taste the mushroom, and it was just pure deliciousness. Probably the best burger I've had in a long time. But, i will say their burgers are on the smaller side and pretty pricey. But id say the price is worth it. We ended up getting two more because of how good it was. If you ever visit Mari Pari, don't hesitate to get the Swiss Fondue Burger!! Me and my boyfriend both ordered the hot chicken sandwich, fries, and a soda. First of all extremely overpriced for what you're getting. Fries are tasteless and the chicken sandwich was about the equivalent of an old chicfila sandwich. But the worst part of the whole experience was the food poisoning o received after. I guess the most common complaint is that the employees seem impolite and stuck up. I believe it's a cultural difference. I love going to Eastern and Western European bakeries/restaurants and they may seem "cold" due to the lack of smile/friendliness compared to Americans. I also work with some European women and they're also the same way, kind of a "stone face". The employees at Mari Pari were friendly the couple times I've been here. I got a regular croissant and French cream rolls. Croissant was very delicious. It wasn't soggy or tasted old. All of the ingredients were fresh. The French cream rolls I wouldn't mind ordering again. It wasn't too sweet. It had a great taste. I liked the texture and creaminess. Prices are what you would expect in a food court. They were busy so my order didn't immediately come out but it was about 10 mins or less. French cream rolls came out within a few mins. read more

Tetiana is always very friendly and helpful when I come here, and the rest of the staff is also great (I just don't know their names, oops). I've become addicted to their baguettes, which sometimes I get on their own, other times as the turkey baguette sandwich. Their pastries are also quite good.
