The sandwiches are generously sized but not overwhelming. Lightly toasted bread filled with a nice balance of great ingredients. You have your choice of multi grain or white and there is a 'thin' bread option. The menu has several options extending beyond the extensive sandwiches to include soups or macaroni & cheese. No complaints. I've are at Potbelly's before so this review is warranted by numerous visits. Potbelly's is good, and I don't remember them having Zapps chips previously, but they have them at this location and I'm a big fan of Zapps! So that was a "seal the deal" win for me! The subs are toasted, some like it, some prefer it, and some may not. I'm flexible so either way I don't mind. One thing I do enjoy about them are their soups. The potpie and chili is very good. I tend to always get italian subs no matter where I go. Maybe I'm italian maybe I'm not? But that's not here nor there, haha. Anyways, service is always pleasant, food is good for a sub shop. Nothing to go home bragging about but you combine all the thumbs ups and it makes for a pleasant experience and meal! Definitely worth a stop in, especially if your close by and wanting a sub and soup. They have salads as well but I have not tried any yet so I cannot speak to those. Dropped by for lunch and ordered a large Italian on wheat bread to go. The ordering and set up was smooth but then there was a problem after the sandwich went through the oven. I ordered my hot peppers on the side because I tend to get hiccups if I swallow them too quickly. When I got home, I found that the sandwich had hot peppers included and there were some added peppers on the side. It may have been a case of miscommunication but perhaps a contributing factor was the exciting World Cup soccer match the prep guy was watching on his phone behind the counter. We get takeout from here every once in a while and it's usually decent. This time was not great. They were out of salad mix so they made the Mediterranean salad with shredded iceberg lettuce. The sub was mushy and they forgot to put our Mac n cheese in the bag. Glad we checked before we drove off. I feel like the food quality has gone downhill and it makes me sad bc there's so much potential! So many better sub places around. I do feel i need to mention that the cookies here are to die for!!! Food was overpriced and very uninspired/mid. Had to skip sitting at 3 tables because they were covered in crumbs. They were not busy in any way shape or form and while the guy who made my sandwich did a good job the woman who made the shakes acted like she was annoyed to make my shake and a shake for the couple behind me; (we were the only ones there) forgot to give me my cup and exhibited zero customer service skills beyond the actual completion of the shakes (which were good) . overall when u consider the lack of cleanliness and the overpriced average food it all equated to a less than stellar dining experience which was disappointing because this was my first time there and I had high hopes. I used to love this location but they are slowly starting to become worse and worse. I always order a Mushroom Melt which should (and had always been) just made with cheese and mushrooms. For my added toppings, I have lettuce, onion, hot peppers and Italian seasoning. At check out, I would order a side of the potbelly vinaigrette which complimented my sandwich perfectly because it had a sweetness that paired well with the hot peppers. They got rid of the PV so I would substitute it for the fat free vinaigrette. Which was ok but not at all as tasty. But as of lately, I don't feel as though the staff/company cares as much. Today, I ordered my usual mushroom melt with all my normal toppings but when I got to the register they don't have the fat free vinaigrette. Wth?! So not only are you not serving my first choice, but now you don't have my second choice either?! I don't throw a fit over sandwiches so I dealt with it. I got all the way back to work and opened my sandwich to find avocado all over it! I never ask for that and never would so there goes my lunch. When I called to speak to someone about it I was told they always put avocado on a veggie sandwich. That's cool bland all but that's not what I ordered. So when I told her I ordered the mushroom melt, she said they don't serve that anymore..... the kicker here, the person I was talking to was the one that rang me up! And I know I said Mushroom melt when ask what I ordered. I ask if I could pick up a new sandwich made correctly after I got off work, I get "yea, but we close at 5:00". Not the friendliest of service but pretty decent sandwiches. They have lots of options of Zapps chips like the Voodoo ones which are great. The staff just wasn't friendly and no one seemed like they wanted to take my order or cash me out. The hot peppers they have (can also buy a jar to go) are super spicy and great on an Italian sub. They have lots of size options and even salads. The cookies are the star of the show, though. Highly recommend the sugar cookies. Subs come on either white or wheat and they do "slims" sandwich options with less bread/carbs. read more

I had this a while ago here at this location but I felt it was appropriate to write the review today because my co-worker just came back from Chicago on business there and ordered Potbelly. So in Chicago if you are in a business building, some places like Potbelly will deliver their food to you via bike ride there. They send this boy to deliver a huge order for about 11 people granted only 6 people actually came to the meeting so there was a lot of leftovers. The boy is hauling the Potbelly all over his body with the bike on the side of him and you just got to feel bad for the dude. He drops the entire order on the table and leaves hoping he'll probably get a tip. Well we don't quite have this luxury here in Ohio we have to drive to our nearest Potbelly and order the food and sit/stand until the food comes out. If someone did bike to a business here like in Chicago, it would be wonderful because then I wouldn't have to leave for an hour for lunch each day just to order something. I found the food here quite good, I got advice on which sandwich to try and I liked the suggestion I received. The food was quite hearty considering I got a soup with a sandwich. I will definitely have to come back and try more stuff off the menu and maybe lower my expectation that someday a boy will ride on his bike and deliver this for me. read more

This is one of my wife's favorite lunch spots in Dublin. We've been here 20+ times in the past two years and it's always interesting because you never know if some of the products (Mac & Cheese) will actually be available or not. It was available today though so that was a happy surprise. The unhappy surprise and main reason for the poor rating today : 1. Cashier was sloppily dressed in a Potbelly shirt with holes in it 2. Not given a tray with our meal because all of the trays were out (stacked at the trashcan and not returned) 3. Trashcan was full 4. One of the sub orders had the wrong toppings (no peppers) 5. Booths were dirty but not surprised based on the other items mentioned above 6. The soda machine was down...probably not the fault of the employees working today *staff was doing nothing or not much in the back while we ate so we had to guess laziness was the reason for #2, #3 and #5. I also need to mention the sandwich artist was doing All or 99% of the work to make the sandwiches, etc. The food was good (5) but the service was shit or near shit (1). I don't give Potbelly's enough love. I always seem to forget about them, and then I go there and eat lunch and fall in love all over again, and keep asking myself, "Why don't I come here more often?" Infact, I love the hot peppers here so much, it's the only thing I put on my sub. Apologies to the other toppings and condiments. ** SHAKES -- So terrible for you, but if your gonna splurge, then splurge, and grab a shake here. You won't be disappointed, and their added touch are these tiny circle shortbread cookies added to the straw. ** The Decor -- All the bad knick-knacks, books and thrift store finds screwed onto the walls and ceiling give you something to look at while enjoying lunch. It's on par to the hoakiness of Max and Erma's. I don't mind it. ** Sheila's Dream Bars -- Have I died and went to heaven? Probably. If I had a last meal, then somewhere in the mix would be these tasty little squares. They're just cookie bars with caramel, chocolate chips and lots of butter mixed in, but OH MAN do they make these and they make them SO good. Definitely try one. ** IBC Root Beer -- Yes, they have a soda fountain, but they also have other bottled options too... Surprisingly, I like to recommend IBC rootbeer. Nothing fancy, but it's always completed my meal and pairs great with the spiciness of the hot peppers. Look at me.. recommending cheap soda like some total hipster bar snob. HA! **Local Music-- They used to have local folk musicians come in and play every so often. I think they still do this, but I'm not entirely sure. It's always added a semi nice touch. If you want to go fast food, I feel like this is as good as it gets. There are lots of tasty options for subs, and the calorie info is printed right on the menu. There is often a short wait at lunchtime, but this Potbelly's is nearly empty at dinner-time. Great sandwiches! Very toasty bread - not soggy at all as another reviewer stated. We had the Italian and Turkey Fresco. Both were well prepared and of adequate size with good meat to toppings ratio. My first visit to Potbellys. Somehow, I thought that there would be a larger variety of sandwiches and that this wasn't just a sub shop. BUT I'm a big fan of the sub, hoagy, grinder, torpedo, or what have you. Highlight of the sandwich was the hot peppers!! Wow, really spicy and more of a jardiniere, than just hot peppers. I got the Italian and the meat was nice, not the proportion you get at a Jersery Mike's, but tasty, well prepared and cheap. Atmosphere was above average. Seemed like they were going for a folksy Starbuck's look. Nice but maybe a little much for a joint that only serves subs. I'd go back, but I'm not sure I'd seek it out over Jersey Mike's. read more

I enjoy lunch here 4X - 5X a month and like to sit inside to enjoy the eatery and its patrons. Good people watching. I've enjoyed their sub sandwiches yet I'm always going with salad. Chicken Salad Salad, with its cranberries and chicken salad over greens (the chicken salad isn't gooey mayo-ridden; it's chunky and hearty) drizzled with Potbelly vinagarette dressing is perfection for me. As is the Chickpea Veggie Salad. I guess I'm confessing to be a "drag it through the garden" kinda eater. Why not 5-stars? I find their soups to be over-priced for the quantity. At almost $5 a paper bowl it just doesn't seem justfiable. I've had their chili and the broccoli cheese soups and the taste is great. Yet the price keeps me away. Such is the complaint of this YELP'r with Potbelly. During most weekdays there is a soloist on guitar who has improved by leaps and bounds over the last couple years. Solid 4 stars- I really like this location, the place is clean, employees are friendly and the food is good. I usually go with the Big Italian sub, meats are better than you will find at Subway/Jimmy Johns, and the bread is good. Milkshakes are really tasty! The price for my sandwich is 6 bucks and while its not the biggest sub I have ever had, its not gonna break the bank. Sub places are a dime a dozen anymore. You can go to any strip mall and find one. This place doesn't stick out but it is good. The one thing I really enjoyed about it was the hot peppers. It really added something to my sub. Their menu isn't super extensive (in my opinion, they lack sauces to top your sub with. Oil, mayo and mustard are your choices). You can choose a soup to accompany your meal, or a shake/smoothie should you want. We got a pack of oatmeal raisin cookies and a "dream bar", which is like a chocolate chip cookie brownie of sorts. It was good. Inside is pretty spacious and it's decorated nicely inside. Gives a bit of a better ambiance than normal sub houses. All in all, it's nothing to write home about, but I would go back for lunch. read more

Didn't have my drink or pickle ready and didn't have my soup in the bag, just the sandwiches so i got screwed out of that. I ordered online for an office meeting. I wanted the Basic Belly for 10 people. (There is a 6 person minimum) The website prompted me to select the sandwiches in which I selected 10. Then I was prompted to select the chips, again, I selected 10. Mind you there was no pricing showing up on the website. When I received the order Potbelly sent the Basic belly (I don't even know which sandwiches were on it ) AND the 10 sandwiches that I was prompted to select!!! So my credit card was charged double!! I didn't realize until I looked at the receipt after our lunch. I called regarding this and the 2 managers that I spoke with acknowledged the mishap but didn't know why that happened. They told me they would try and credit the extra order. Of course It has been several hours and I have heard nothing back! DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!!!
