Italian Sub with Everything but Mayo!
    Harry A.

Dropped by for lunch and ordered a large Italian on wheat bread to go. The ordering and set up was smooth but then there was a problem after the sandwich went through the oven. I ordered my hot peppers on the side because I tend to get hiccups if I swallow them too quickly. When I got home, I found that the sandwich had hot peppers included and there were some added peppers on the side. It may have been a case of miscommunication but perhaps a contributing factor was the exciting World Cup soccer match the prep guy was watching on his phone behind the counter. Nevertheless, the sandwich was tasty and filling and what I would consider a step above other sandwich shops.

My Mushroom Melt with some avocado that wasn't invited.

I used to love this location but they are slowly starting to become worse and worse. I always order a Mushroom Melt which should (and had always been) just made with cheese and mushrooms. For my added toppings, I have lettuce, onion, hot peppers and Italian seasoning. At check out, I would order a side of the potbelly vinaigrette which complimented my sandwich perfectly because it had a sweetness that paired well with the hot peppers. They got rid of the PV so I would substitute it for the fat free vinaigrette. Which was ok but not at all as tasty. But as of lately, I don't feel as though the staff/company cares as much. Today, I ordered my usual mushroom melt with all my normal toppings but when I got to the register they don't have the fat free vinaigrette. Wth?! So not only are you not serving my first choice, but now you don't have my second choice either?! I don't throw a fit over sandwiches so I dealt with it. I got all the way back to work and opened my sandwich to find avocado all over it! I never ask for that and never would so there goes my lunch. When I called to speak to someone about it I was told they always put avocado on a veggie sandwich. That's cool bland all but that's not what I ordered. So when I told her I ordered the mushroom melt, she said they don't serve that anymore..... the kicker here, the person I was talking to was the one that rang me up! And I know I said Mushroom melt when ask what I ordered. I ask if I could pick up a new sandwich made correctly after I got off work, I get "yea, but we close at 5:00". I get off at 5 and would never make it. Therefore, i basically just threw $7 in the trash and starved until I got home. Wow. Potbelly, I loved you guys but I might just have to divorce ya.

The staff are very well knowledgeable of their items super super friendly, super super nice interactive There was lots of choices. They offered us samples of anything we wanted to try in case we were unfamiliar with what their products were. Their servings were more than enough. The price was way less than I thought it was going to be, and it even included a drink. I'm not a huge fan of Greek but we had already stopped inside to check it out after not seeing it on Yelp or Apple Maps. You order assembly line style, beginning with either a pita, salad, or bowl. The team members are very nice and patient, the line was SPARKLING clean (not dirty or messy like other restaurants counters). I kind of just threw everything I thought I'd like, on my salad. I got gyro, spicy feta, the pico salsa stuff, cucumbers, pickled onion, green olives, and more lettuce with their House Sauce. I didn't know how I'd like it but it was TASTY! My friends enjoyed a side of their fresh pita bread, and went back up to get a side of hummus which they gave us for free!!! One of my friends said, I quote "I could eat this every day!!!" And the other wasn't a huge fan, but said it was alright! I am somewhere in the middle, but this is coming from someone who originally was craving a carrot, celery, tomato, bacon, broccoli, type salad, and NOT someone who is big on Greek. Definitely give this place a try! They do not skimp on portions and it was an inexpensive lunch for 3 ($34)!!!

So essentially, this chiropractor, who didn't even initiate the sharing of his name, is describing a man. HES DESCRIBING A MAN. Also, he kept making fart jokes and actually farting. Anyway, my dad ate my leftovers which was essentially the entire bowl bc I had a very small appetite during this "date," I hope you can understand why. He said it was delicious.

We were greeted immediately by the hostess, and once our party of eight had arrived, we were seated quickly. Our server was friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout the meal. I started with the buffalo wings, which were excellent. They were perfectly crisp, and the buffalo sauce had just the right amount of flavor and heat. For my entrée, I ordered the 8-ounce sirloin cooked medium rare. It arrived exactly as ordered--perfectly seasoned, incredibly tender, and soft enough to cut with a butter knife. The sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had and were the perfect complement to the steak. Overall, my meal was a 10/10. Whether you're planning a date night, celebrating an anniversary, or entertaining clients over dinner, Matt the Miller's Tavern checks all the boxes. I highly recommend giving them a try!

I'm all for a few tidbits here and there but when we were in the middle of a conversation and eating our dinner, it was disruptive. Now the food - I had heard the pretzel bites were so good but supposedly they changed the recipe. They were pretty bland and without the sauces, I would not recommend. I ordered the mild mushroom flatbread and it was okay. So heavy on the lemon vinaigrette that I was wishing I could taste the mushrooms, goat cheese, and arugula. I also ordered a side ceasar salad which was decent but again, so heavy on dressing. Others in my party said their food was fine but it wasn't anything special. It was quite underwhelming overall.

Regardless, we were seated right away. We were given a spot at a high top inside but adjacent to the open windows for some fresh evening air and a nice cooling breeze. Unfortunately, service throughout the night was a little spotty. The first round of drinks took a while to come out, the app went missing, our server (who seemed slightly less than enthused all night) took the liberty of snagging an extra one for us, and then our entrees came out right at the same time. I started with the sunrise mojito. Being a bit of a rum snob, I am particularly picky when it comes to rum-based drinks and this one did not disappoint. Probably one of the best takes on a mojito I've had in quite a while. I eventually followed that up with the peach bourbon smash, which was also tasty but pretty heavy on the peach and less on the bourbon. To get started on food, we ordered the street corn nachos. Now, I do love street corn, but something about corn on top of nachos on paper doesn't exactly sound like my personal first choice. However, since my coworker was putting the food on his company card, he went that route. Man, what a mistake I made in my assumption. Absolutely amazing. Gooey cheese, excellent flavors, and not too much to fill you up. My coworker got the shrimp capellini, which looked excellent and he agreed it was solid. I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich (a gochujang aioli? Come on). The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was indeed crispy but also quite juicy. The fries were also delicious being slightly soft, slightly crisp, and not too salty. All in all, a couple service hiccups aside, this was a really fantastic place. I definitely will be sure to make my way back here if I find myself on another work trip for sure!

Hubby and girlfriend got their dinners and mine was well over 15 minutes delivered later while theirs sat getting cold. I kept encouraging them to dive in. Nope - they waited and far too long. By the time my dinner was delivered they sent theirs back to get warmed up. The difference in timing was too egregious. It wasn't due to the memorial. The place was hopping but consistent. I want to suspect my dinner was forgotten to be ordered. It wasn't the kitchen as it was too far apart on delivery. No reasons shared why the late delivery. I love context and I'm not unreasonable though the experience was too off and without reasons to understand the why made it an unfortunate experience.
