Turkey and Roast beef on white.

This was only my second time eating here. I would have to say subs are good they have their own unique taste which is a good thing. The subs are a lil pricey for my budget, but that don't seem to stop people from coming in. I like getting my sub the Mike's way which makes it a loaded sandwich the messy the better in my book. I decided to change it up a little and try this place I get tired of subway, Penn station this was a good change of pace. So if you need to change it up a little i suggest give them a try.

The amount of sauce is ridiculous

I usually love this location but I feel like the lady that made my sub last night was trying to be funny. I came in and ordered my sub it was obvious she was training someone and was a little frustrated but that has nothing to do with me. The first time I ordered the #44 chicken buffalo with no lettuce or tomato and to replace to blue cheese with ranch. No one wrote it down they took it as a verbal order. Unfortunately when the sub was made she added ALOT of lettuce and some tomato therefore I asked for the sub to be made again cause that's not how I wanted it and I refused to pick the ridiculous amount of lettuce off. Because she was frustrated with him she made my sub disgusting sloppy. I asked for extra buffalo but she added SO MUCH RANCH and buffalo the bread was soggy , I literally could not pick the sub up without it falling apart. There was way more sauce on the sub than meat and cheese. Please look at the pictures.

According to Kramer on Seinfeld, deli meat is at it's peak the moment it's sliced. That's exactly how your sandwich is prepared. Sliced to order. 3 size subs to choose from. White or wheat. The GIANT size is... GIANT. Chips or soup is the sides. I don't know if they still do macaroni or potato salad. I am currently on a kick for the hot subs. The Big Kahuna is fantastic. "Mikes Way" is their signature sub topping. I think it includes mayo, lett, tom, onion, red wine vinegar. Fountain drinks and bottled water. The interior has always been clean and bright.

My usual order is the Reuben on rye with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and Russian dressing. It's always my go-to and never disappoints. I also recently tried the State & Main on rye with corned beef, pastrami, and coleslaw, which was another solid choice. I've heard great things about the Paesano on an Italian sub bun with ham, hot capicola, pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, and Italian dressing (can be served hot or cold). A friend's favorite is the Figaboudit on grilled ciabatta with prosciutto, fig jam, goat cheese, and arugula. If you go, don't skip the homemade chips with the house-made sour cream and onion dip--it's easily my favorite thing on the menu and worth ordering as a side or appetizer.

The staff was very friendly and patient. The menu us rather limited but when you get your food a party of flavors consumer your taste buds. I opted for the K&K with chicken. There is a fish option too that alot of people came in and ordered. I wish I tried the fish because that's what seemed to be the most popular but the chicken was a grand slam. The noodles are home made and have the texture of a wide Thai noodle but is the size of a lasagna noodle. These noodles hold a ton of the spices and compliment the dish very well. I did not see anything related to a deli other than two empty deli cases. I'm not sure if it use to be a deli or is only a deli at certain times of the day.

It's been a minute since I've been here, and honestly, I forgot how good it is. I went all in with the Chicken Pot Pie Soup, Mama's Meatball sandwich with peppers, and a bag of Zapp's Hot Pepper chips--because moderation is for people who don't love flavor. The Chicken Pot Pie Soup? Well, let's just say it leaned more "cream of chicken" than "pot pie." The crusty topping... I'm not sure what sorcery that was, but it had the texture of something between a crouton and a pulverized Ritz cracker that lost its way. Not bad, just... confusing. cracker The Mama's Meatball, though, stole the show. Delicious, saucy, and stacked like it's proud of itself. The peppers gave it just the right kick. And Zapp's chips? Always a chaotic good choice. Overall, great lunch, great company, and a reminder that Potbelly still knows how to make comfort food without overcomplicating it. Would I come back? Absolutely. Just maybe I'll skip the soup--or bring a pie crust of my own next time.

We really wanted Frenchi's, so we drove up to this OG location. No line which is great! A nice woman was working the counter. We got our sammies and brought them home. They were as solid as always, but there's some things I have to note: Frenchi himself always made our sandwiches to perfection. Toasted, hot, perfectly made. The two times we had another employee make them, they are just different. Same ingredients, but different ratios maybe? Today my husbands Eiffel came super toasty and meats/cheese heated up in a microwave (or toaster oven maybe?) My Buckeye always used to come warm, but only if Frenchi made it. Twice now, I got barely toasted and my meat wasn't warmed at all. Also, man I loveeee the house made chipotle mayo but today was just way too much sauce. Yes, I should have spoken up about what I specifically wanted, but part of my reviews need to include things like consistency. Today was fine, but not the 5 star I've come to expect. One star off for the other location being closed and not posted anywhere. One star off for inconsistent sandwiches.
