Our go to when we are in town! Honolulu poke has been such a great establishment in northern Colorado offering fresh and delicious poke. Every time we go in, the restaurant is always clean, and the staff is quick to help you customize your bowl. Our kids even enjoy the options available to them and how they can add as little or as much as possible. My go to is always the fresh salmons and tuna with the house sauce and wasabi shoyu sauce. Best poke in Fort Collins. The portions are generous for the price, making it a great value. The fish tastes fresh most of the time. I do wish they offered regular wasabi instead of only wasabi sauce, since every poke bar should have wasabi on the side. The service is friendly, and their boba tea tastes great too. Bowls are good! I will say but how the women yelled at her employee because the worker forgot the boba in my boba drink, was NOT okay, i hope that poor girl is alright and knows making mistakes are OKAY! Can't believe the manager would treat her workers like that, especially in front of a customer. Also one last thing why are we putting vanilla creamer in my tai tea? I love poke! So naturally I hunt out all the new-to-me poke places. Well, when work took me to Fort Collins for two months I found Honolulu Poke Bar, and I was hooked! STAR #1 - Fresh ingredients! The freshness of the ingredients goes a long way in poke bowls. I've never had a concern about the ingredients here, everything is clearly fresh and delicious!! STAR #2 - Price is on point! Having dinned at many other poke restaurants throughout the state, I can say that the price is inline with the size and quality of the bowl. STAR #3 - Boba tea! They do offer a small selection of boba tea drinks. I love a Thai iced tea with my poke, and mixing it up with some added boba from time to time def makes it a treat! STAR #4 - Delivery! When you can't break away from the office, delivery is your best friend. Well don't you worry, Honolulu Poke Bar offers delivery, so you don't have to step away for even a minute! Honolulu Poke Bar def satisfies my poke craving. This is one of our favorite places in NoCo! So fresh and tasty. We can't get enough. I would eat it everyday if I could.

Ate here for lunch the other day and it was fresh and delicious! I like spicy, so I chose the spicy tuna and salmon and added the crab salad. All the toppings and sauces were delicious. I also like when you can do half/half of base items. I thought the pricing was reasonable as well. I got my order to go, so I can't speak to the service aspect, but when I picked up my order, the staff was friendly and the restaurant seemed simple and clean. Great pit stop while driving back to Denver from Rock Springs! I was craving raw fish and felt pleasantly surprised that Honolulu Poke Bar offers WATER CHESTNUTS! Love them and never seen them before at a poke place. Plentiful options of fresh ingredients. Decent customer service. Got a bottle of aloe vera juice on the side. Lots of seating. Stopped by for a quick dinner, inside was cute with ample seating. I took my small bowl to go. I got the two scoop protein with salmon and spicy tuna. I asked for spicy mayo and bam a lot of spicy mayo showed up (oops). The salmon was tasty but spicy tuna too spicy. I loved the added toppings like masago, edamame and onion crisps but it made it a tad too salty. Overall tasty but beware if you can't handle your spicy like me. I love poke and my kids love this place, but I've had better in Denver at 2 different places where I first tried poke. This was my first time here. I ordered the raw tuna and salmon for protein. Brown rice. House sauce. Loaded with free extra toppings. My only issue is for the hefty price tag, the portions were smaller than the ones I had in Denver for a similar price (maybe this is a covid adjustment?). Also I had a few bites of the fish that had not been properly trimmed and so I ended up with little bits of unchewable silver skin caught between my teeth. Honolulu Poke Bar was a pleasant surprise. You get plenty of food for one person, and there are so many options for toppings. I loaded up my brown rice poke bowl with salmon, mango, edamame, carrots, seaweed salad, and sweet chili sauce. Sooo filling and kept me satisfied all day long. The Asian lady who help me serving the food is terrible. She might be the owner of this place. I love poke bowl and I come here quite often. But she's NOT FRIENDLY at all, like I own her something. Every time come here I feel unwelcome . When I order the TOPPING it said UNLIMITED, but when I said can I have A LITTLE more MASSAGO and she said EXTRA MORE??? It doesn't make sense when you're doing the business like that? There's no sign say that extra more, I just feel like she try to ripped me off because she doesn't like me or something. We got Honolulu Poke as delivery to our hotel. Now I can't speak to the quality of Poke in Fort Collins (as this is the only poke place I tried) but compared to Denver this was just okay 1 - the large for the price wasn't that big (compared to a Denver staple like Poke City) 2 - the protein list was above average 3- side and mix in the list was good as well. So from my view. . .I think the only big issue I had was the size was a bit smaller than I expected. Overall though it was good Poke and a nice (somewhat healthy) fish option in Fort Collins. read more

Not sure why this one was different, maybe the house sauce but mostly it's the same ingredients that others have. We love this place for each flexibility and versatility you can other literally create an unlimited number of dishes, and everything is delicious. Listened to the reviews and made the extra drive out to this location to try out some poke. I'm a huge fan of poke so I was ecstatic to find a decent looking spot in FoCo while I'm here on vacation. The restaurant looked really bright and clean on the inside. I went right at opening and the employees were friendly and greeted me. I ordered the medium poke bowl to go. I got white rice as my base which was piping hot. Rice for poke/sushi should always be room temperature at most. It made my salmon and tuna much warmer and practically cooked it which I didn't like, but it also might have been because I went right at opening and they had just cooked the rice. The medium comes with 3 scoops and I was a little disappointed that they were using tongs to grab the seafood. How can you possibly measure 3 scoops when you're using tongs to grab slippery seafood? I honestly felt a little cheated as the 3 scoops amounted to about 1 and a half compared to my regular spot. The salmon tasted great although some pieces of tuna were incredibly chewy and were not so fresh. They charge extra for avocado which many places don't and it comes pre-mashed. I would have preferred it not mashed and instead in slices or cubes to make it easier to mix throughout the bowl. All in all, the poke bowl wasn't bad although I've certainly had better. read more

Pay a lot get a little.... I'm not arguing that the food quality and flavor isn't good. It is.... my complaint about this place is. That you pay a premium dollar amount. (Close or at sit down restaurant) and get an amount of food that might sustain a 5 year old child. Or a large cat. I get it... it's fish. And fish isn't cheap. Was so surprised and thrilled to see a poke place in Fort Collins! For the make your own poke type of spot, it has great flavors and I loved that there are so many toppings that you can add to your bowl. The one drawback I had was that the girl serving me gave a few measly scoops for a medium bowl (3 scoops), that was a smaller portion of fish than I usually get at other poke spots. So to start off, we loved the food. I had a small bowl with avocado, and my fiance had a large bowl with an extra salad and avocado. We had a free protein scoop coupon, our total was $25. We went around dinner time on a Thursday. There weren't very many people inside, 3 other couples besides us. It's a large restaurant with all new, modern decor so it could accommodate a large crowd. The two women working behind the counter were friendly enough, but pretty slow. We probably waited around 10 minutes for the 3 people in front of us to order. I'm just comparing that to Chipotle or Qdoba (similar concept) which takes around 1 minute per person. The food was great, I like how you can mix proteins. I had shrimp and tuna. The tuna was a nice deep red, and didn't taste fishy or frozen. The shrimp were very small and fishy. I'd rather have large shrimp chopped up than small fish, they seemed like freezer shrimp and seemed very cheap. The crab and seaweed salad were great. The spicy sauce was pretty spicy, which we liked. Now onto the negatives, my fiance wanted 2 salads with his, seaweed and crab. The girl told him "no" when he asked that, twice, so he had to repeat he was willing to pay for the extra salad several times for her to give it to him. I thought that was rude and made us both uncomfortable. If we are willing to pay for extra things, just give them to us? The large bowl has 4 protein scoops, the small has 2. We got home and compared bowl sizes (amount of food in each) and they were WAY TOO similar for a price difference at all. My 2 protein scoops were full small ice cream scoops, the additional two for the large bowl weren't filled. The bowl sizes also all come in the same plastic bowl with the same amount of rice. That makes no sense. A large bowl should have more rice and be in a larger bowl. It should also include more than one scoop of salad and toppings, since it's a large. A large bowl was not enough to fill him up, even for the $14. We would be much happier if the large bowl cost $15/$16 and had more rice, was in a bigger plastic bowl, and included an additional salad scoop and more scoops of toppings. I get it, fish is expensive. But calling a bowl "large" when really all you get is an additional spoonful of tuna is not fair. I also noticed a difference in amount of avocado. I got a full scoop and my fiance's scoop was closer to half full. Yet we both paid an additional $1 for avocado. The scoop by the way, is tiny. Smaller than most ice cream scoops. I assume for cost control and efficiency. But it was so small. I'm sure we will return eventually, hopefully for a better customer service and pricing experience. read more

Great poke! We get lunches from Honolulu Poke Bar regularly and they have been consistently fresh and taste good.

Food was good, but service and ordering leave a lot to be desired. Due to the extreme paranoia over coronavirus you must outside and order via cellphone. Unfortunately, you'll be calling an employee's cell phone (they had a list of 4 posted at the door). Reception was horrid, and I had to repeat my order 3 times. Next, though the risk is minimal, you have to read your credit card number over the phone to them. Their only saving grace is the food was ready within minutes and very tasty. Frankly, if it wasn't for their lackluster ordering "system" I'd have given them 5 stars. read more

I'm visiting the area, and so my review is based on only one order. Pros: They included everything we ordered. I think the potstickers would have been good if they were hot. Other than that, it was disappointing. The potstickers were overpriced (the menu does say that three come in an order, but for the price I thought they'd be bigger than average, not smaller) I'm sure this is a personal preference, but I was not a fan of the sweet and sour sauce that came with them. I would have preferred the option of the soy ginger sauce I usually get with dumplings. I ordered the spicy tuna roll, and my husband ordered a poke bowl. I know I can be picky about my tuna, so I had my husband taste it. I thought is didn't taste super fresh, but he found it edible--- about on par with sushi I expect from the grocery store. His assessment of his poke bowl was that it was not as good as my sushi roll. I'm not sure if the delivery issue was because of the restaurant or grub hub, but our order was over 30 minutes late, and we had no communication alerting us that the order would not come on time. read more

Always good. The employees are super helpful and they always have my order ready ASAP when I order it online. I also love that a small bowl is more than enough and is definitely a meal on its own. The food is high quality and even the avocado is fresh, never even questionable. I highly recommend the spicy tuna and salmon, and the crab salad is amazinggg.
