Worst customer experience in a bit. I had the pleasure of receiving the incorrect order when I was told that my chili Mac is an actually chili Mac as they would leave the Mac at the bottom. This was explained by the drive thru rep. I accepted her explanation and drove home to find out it was indeed just chili. Very very frustrating but it gets better. I ordered a tuna salad sandwich. The tuna salad was 50 percent mayonnaise with very little tuna. I was very disappointed with the sandwich! At other Potbelly restaurants, I always get a lot of tuna in the tuna salad sandwich. I didn't wanted a mayonnaise sandwich! I spent $10 for mostly mayonnaise, toppings and bread. My web order was cancelled from the Potbelly Shop in Frankfort, Illinois on October 1st without any notification! I went to pick it up at 5:15 pm. and there was a handwritten sign that stated they were closed.  I caught a worker coming out and he stated that "no one came to work".  The order was for an important event.  I didn't receive a call or email and I have been refunded. I would like to comment on what I feel is some of the worst customer concern and retention by a store manager I have ever been involved with. Ok so I ordered 3 Original Chicken Salad sandwiches all the exact same way, everything , no mayo or mustard. After arriving home it was discovered that 1 was made correct while the other two literally only had Chicken Salad on bread. (I want to add that this wasn't the first time a wrong order came from Frankfort). So after a quick phone call to the manager she said I would have my name on a list to get the sandwiches in the future. Ok I am wanting to eat now so I went in immediately. I am hungry now and that's why I ordered the sandwich today, not later. I even brought the bad ones with me to give them to the store. I have no use for them , they are made wrong. While the new sandwiches are being made, I asked a new girl if I could at least have a shake for compensation of having to come back to the store on a Saturday night, when I wanted to be home watching the Blackhawks game eating my sandwich. She said she would ask the manager and to my surprise the manager refused me a free shake. So I guess she feels that these new sandwiches are my compensation? HEY YOU MADE THEM WRONG and I had to come back and waste my time withe this B.S. again ! Its not like you gave me money back. My wife was a corporate manager for Wendy's back in the day, she said this is a ridiculous way for a customer to be treated. To think that my aggravation and time is not worth a Pot Bellies milk shake? I will NEVER and I mean NEVER eat at this company again if I don't hear from corporate on this. I contacted them as well. Generally Potbelly is a good choice for moderately healthy sandwiches. Usually fast, but occasionally staff are younger, and less experienced, and this time, they moved very casually and slow. At this particular location, I ordered the steak with horseradish sauce sandwich. It wasn't until the sandwich was cooked, and I was ready to pay for it, that they informed me they were out of horseradish sauce. If they had had the courtesy to tell me this as I was ordering, I would have ordered something else. Oh well. read more

One of my favorite places to get a sub sandwich. I favor their toppings over most of the competition. They have an interesting collection of not so ordinary ingredients on a sub sandwich. The number one thing that keeps me coming is the rewards program, you may get a random alert buy a sandwich today and receive a free sandwich tomorrow, it's amazing and it is for real. Of all the rewards programs I am a member of this is the most rewarding. My travel distance to the restaurant is under 5 minutes and my order is usually complete by the time I arrive, that is pretty good service..!!! read more

I went in on a Saturday around 1pm. There were 2 people ahead of us. We got our sandwiches made, but then it took them 30 minutes to check the two people in front of us out. We eventually got tired of waiting, and no one even acknowledged us when it was our turn to pay so we just left. There were also a couple people waiting online orders the entire time we were there (1 hour). Get new management, train your people and find people who actually want to work. No communication between employees, one had their AirPods in the entire time. If your in a rush, find somewhere else to eat. read more

Gave them 2 chances 1 year apart and still terrible. Last year I got the worst chicken sandwich that felt like I was eating rubber. So terrible I threw away and didn't go back for a year. Just went recently and had a Mediterranean flatbread with hot peppers and they put so much hot pepper on it with all the oil that it was soaked when I got home. The hot peppers were more than all the ingredients inside the flatbread as well. Never ever ever again will I visit this location. read more

I have liked this sandwich chain for a while but there was never one close enough. Now there is! We were excited to try it so we picked up sandwiches on the way home from the airport, that's how much we were looking forward to it. Our order was perfect, the drive through window was very efficient. The young lady was polite and friendly. We got home and had everything we ordered. This is very unusual for us and drive through service. I had a wreck and it was perfect. Toasted and slightly crunch bread with all the cold cuts and veggies I wanted. We will be back! read more

Went through the drive thru, after waiting at the speaker someone said they would be with me in a minute. Waited over 8 minutes to place my order. I had to repeat the order three times, btw it was one sandwich and a pop. I got to the window and they had my order wrong. I told the lady at the window that I didn't order that sandwich. She informed me that I was wrong and that I had ordered a different sandwich. I smiled, and told her thank God Bouona Beef is next door, and drove away. Potbelly, you might want to explain to your employees that we are not in some small farm town with only one place to eat. The customer choose where to spend their money, and rude and slow won't work. You have lost a customer. BTW, Bouona Beef was amazing, got the order correct and was polite to me, they now have a new customer. read more

It may just be this location, because I've been buying sandwiches from different locations for many years but I have not been disappointed this much. In most cases I've been satisfied. Had a group order placed for delivery. 20 mins after no-show on the delivery, the manager (Kevin?) says its the delivery driver company (DoorDash) picked it up on time. Offers to make new sandwiches and personally delivery. Why offer to remake if it's already been picked up? Liiiiies. Avoid at all costs. Go to Jimmy John's or Buona instead. read more

The last couple years the service has declined horribly at the Frankfort IL location. I used to go frequently, however, after the visit today I won't be back. I ordered two sandwiches, a bag of chips, and two drinks in the drive thru. They screwed up both sandwiches by putting stuff on that i didn't order and not putting on the things I did order. They also gave me the wrong drinks. The only thing they managed to get right was the one bag of BBQ chips. read more

I love potbelly, and was happy when one opened closer to where I live. We've been to this location several times, and it seems like every time we come here, the kids inside get our order wrong. Most of the time we just sucked it up and ate it, but the final straw was the other night. The girl asked what toppings I'd like on my girlfriend's mushroom melt and I said hot peppers. I said I wanted hot peppers on my wreck also. These kids literally put only hot peppers on our sandwiches. My girlfriend's sandwich was cheese and peppers- drenched in oil and mine was meat and hot peppers. We didn't even realize it, thinking the hot peppers overpowered the rest of the ingredients until I opened my sandwich and checked. Best part- the girl double checked what our order was while leaving and when we told her, and she realized she got it wrong, she did nothing. Not even an "oh I got it way wrong let me fix that!" She just said "have a nice day!" and let us leave with our order wrong. It's ridiculous that they messed up almost every time we've been here, but good thing the girl seemed to have time to pull her phone out while there was a line of cars behind us. I completely messed up my order and realized while I was waiting in the drive through line. Lex was so kind and understanding, and even though their small crew was overwhelmed with dinner rush, he offered to remake the sandwiches and wouldn't let me pay for both, even tho it was 100% my fault. I took my family here the other night for dinner and was so pleased with everything we got. I had a salad and loved it! It was very fresh and had a lot of great flavor--with an excellent dressing. My kids ordered sandwiches and some soup, which I sampled, and also thought were great. I was really impressed with the food, service, and ambience and will definitely be coming back often! read more

This location is always understaffed. Workers are great and doing their best, management is obviously not staffing appropriately causing very long wait times and a dirty dining area. Not a location you can just swing through quickly. read more

I love this Potbelly's. It only opened a week or two ago, and I have been there three times already. The people working behind the counter were very polite, and it was great service.
