2 days ago I ordered a Cubano and a banana shake through GrubHub. I got the sandwich but not the shake. I got a refund but had to order just a shake which cost me another delivery fee. I didn't look at my sandwich but today I wish I had. I ordered again and GOT my shake. I was very excited. I opened my sandwich wrapping and there a large green MOLD spot on the outside, visible part of the bread! This is beyond gross. Now I have nothing to eat for dinner. How can I trust the shake to not be passed it's expiration date, too???? read more

I'm so happy to see the Potbelly finally added more sauces/ aioli's that you can add to your sandwich. I always liked potbelly but felt it was always missing something and was sort of dry. Now the turkey avocado sub I get is perfect paired with the garlic aioli. Love a good toasted sub here, but wish they could be toasted for longer so that everything is warmed up, not just the bread on the outside. I used to be a big Potbelly Sub fan. Was one of my favorite sub shops nearby. Now, I know ever since Covid hit FIVE years ago, it kicked off a major "everybody raise their prices and shrink their amounts" spree..but I hadn't experienced that at Potbelly...until now. Got the regular Italian. Used to be 8". Now it's mayyyyyybe 6" and the roll is really small. For around $15 with tax, this was a ripoff in my opinion. I didn't eat that much at any meal, but I'm still kinda hungry after this sandwich. And no, I didn't use camera angle trickery and I don't have massive hands. It's just a small, small sandwich. Potbelly is always a good and reliable choice when you are in a hurry, but still want to each fresh and healthy. This was our first time to this location and it was as consistent as all the others. Prompt, friendly and helpful counter staff. Had a couple of their sandwich combos and they were both very tasty. Always plentiful with the meats and other toppings and the bread fresh. Easy in-and-out location, but must be in a questionable location (we are not from the area and this was our first time at this particular store) . . . restroom doors require a four digit code to enter (the staff was quick to provide it, but it gives you that, you know, weird feeling of wonder "why" they keep the restrooms locked. Same for the side entrance door (locked). Only the front door was freely accessed for in-and-out traffic. In any case, we enjoyed our visit and meal. read more

While my online experience was terrible, this one star reflects more my experience with management after. I ordered a combo, turkey breast sandwich and a half cup veggie soup. I customized my sandwich. I went to the store, picked up my order, receipt outlined exactly what I ordered and when I got home, the sandwich I ordered had none of my customizations. I ordered a turkey sandwich with provolone, lettuce, no tomatoes, extra pickles, mustard, extra oil and seasoning. What I received was a turkey sandwich (no mustard) with lettuce and tomatoes. On top or that, the turkey did not even taste good. I immediately contacted the store and asked to speak to the manager. His name was Adrienne (not sure if I spelled it right) he then said I could come back and they can make my sandwich exactly as I ordered or I can get a refund. I requested the refund, he confirmed my name and requested I allow 5 business days for the refund. I should have known something was fishy because usually when a refund is processed it shows as a pending refund on your account..it never showed up and once I hit the 6th business day, I decided to file a dispute with my bank card. DON'T TELL A CUSTOMER SOMETHING JUST TO APPEASE THEM AND NOT FOLLOW THROUGH. NOT ONLY WAS MY FOOD EXPERIENCE HORRIBLE BUT YOUR MANAGER IS A LIAR AND HANDLED THIS HORRIBLY. I kept the receipt and took note of whom I spoke to for this reason too so I had proof of what I ordered and the discussion had. I would stay clear of this location. Dined 5/8/23: Came in for lunch at Noon on a Monday and it wasn't packed at all which was great to be able to get in and out. Line moved quick. Customer service was good except I asked for whole wheat bread twice and was still served on white bread but it was still yummy! Wish there was a more meat on it as it was a REALLY portioned control-I had to move the meat around so it covered all sections of the sub. The hot peppers were a great touch. Just add a tab bit more meat & it will be a well balanced sub. read more

Friendly staff, I always order the Wreck with all the toppings including the Giardiniera, not to hot but compliments the sandwich well.

Wouldn't suggest ordering for pickup here, they do not know how to read and will put the wrong items on your sandwich.

Apparently I arrived when they were really busy so while the service had a wait time, the actual servers seemed to be quick to get my order to me after a long wait time. Atmosphere was ok. Oooh yes- this sandwich place was GOOD! My better half and I decided to order Potbelly Sandwiches to go because we wanted to get in, stay warm (as it was chilly over the weekend) and enjoy a tasty sandwich with some kettlecooked chips, and so we stopped here for our sandwiches. I'd never had one of these but I'd hear great things... and I know why now. The place was clean, pretty empty on a Saturday night, and so we walked right up to order. I do believe most of their sandwiches come hot, warm, or toasted although you can have them not if you so prefer. I went for the chicken bacon sandwich on wheat and added mayo, lettuce, cheddar, tomato, onion, and ranch sauce - and mmmm, mm, mmm was it good! Even after taking it home, it wasn't overly soggy from the mayo or ranch (was about a 20-minute drive home) and it was delicious. My significant other (SO) ordered a sandwich called a "Wrecked" - which was meaty Turkey breast, hickory-smoked ham, Angus roast beef, salami, and went with swiss cheese. I tried it and I loved the meats in it, and the combination of them together, it was truly super tasty! He also had it on wheat and added some mayo and deli mustard. They had some bomb looking large cookies at the register, but we resisted... we also resisted the incredible looking shakes too (which I later regretted) but we were beyond satisfied with the food and the service of this Potbelly Sandwich Shop - thank you! read more

ATROCIOUS SERVICE. I placed my online order and made my payment. Turns out their payment system wasn't working and failed my payment... not a big deal... The woman at the front spoke EXTREMELY loud that my payment had failed and instead of just taking my payment and making other right, she forced me to stand in line. After waiting, I finally got to the front of the line where she made it obvious she was going to make me wait as long as possible. She fiddled with the silverware and stared off into space until I finally had no choice but to walk out. I had to get back to work and the whole purpose of online ordering was to be in and out. I used to love potbelly but after this horrid service... never again. I would love to speak to corporate to ensure my card isn't charged and to be able to provide feedback to your horrible representative. You guys are better than this. I am heavily disappointed. My daughter ordered 2 salads and 2 sandwich's today through their app on the way home from the zoo today. Everything was ready for pick up on time and the staff was friendly. Took the food home. Sandwiches were fine but both salads were inedible. The lettuce was brown, soggy and even slimy in some parts. Separated the lettuce from topping and threw the lettuce away. I ordered online for take out, I went to the store picked it up and when I got home it was wrong. I called store and was told the only thing they could offer was to remake the sandwich. However, I love 5 miles away and the store was closing in 5mins. The manager/employee I talked to said they would leave my name and what I ordered at the cash register and I could come back in for the remake in the future. Tonight I drive to the restaurant and when I talked to the employees they there was no note left about anyone being owed a remake for a wrong order. The manager for the night did offer to make me an original size sandwich which was nice but I had ordered ordered a big previously. It's upsetting that my sandwich was wrong in the first place and really aggravating that there was no message left for me to have my original order remade. It was nice that the employee tonight did make me a sandwich but this is t what was said they would do to recover my service. Yay!!! Another Potbelly location! Even though this is in a brand new space, the decor is old fashioned and heart warming. Phoenix Nostalgia and more frames the walls on old fashioned fabulous wallpaper. There are several brown tables inside, with a few unique tables as well, how fun! I've eaten at approximately 10 other Potbelly locations in the past 15 years. I still haven't strayed from my favorite chicken salad even once. I've never been disappointed, and this location tastes just as amazing as every other time. I order my sandwich thin cut with Swiss instead of provolone, lettuce, tomato, Italian seasoning, and most important, HOT PEPPERS, aka "Giardinera". The staff is very friendly, the shelves and cooler were well stocked, and the prices are still reasonable! I also had a delicious Oreo shake, complete with mini butter cookies. Came in for lunch with my girlfriend on (oct. 24th at around 1pm) and was not expecting to deal with a sassy and rude employee, I had asked for ham and cheese on my BLTA and she said in a rude tone "you get your toppings down there!" Then I was like "ok" so my girlfriend asked about the cheese which was on her side not the toppings and disrespectfully asks what kind of cheese I wanted! Not to mention when my sandwich made it to the toppings side she was already cashing us out and never charged me for the ham, so then I get double charged because they couldn't just charge me for ham and they rang in the entire order but with the ham added and made me pay! Look this was a complete mistake on their end the least they could have done is not charge me for the ham, or at least been kind about it.
