I had gotten a buffalo chicken salad after I got done working out. It tasted pretty normal nothing out of the ordinary until 2 hours after I ate the salad I started having really bad stomach problems if you know what I mean. The next day I was having the same issue, I had no appetite I couldn't eat anything cause anything I ate I threw up. That same night I had to go to the hospital cause I was constantly throwing up and having issues In the bathroom. The doctors took blood samples and ran test, come to find out I had gotten food poisoning from eating the salad and go. Horrible experience never coming here again an I hope you guys shut down! Food always fresh, great portions. Can mix up what's in your salads and add double proteins to your order and they have breakfast bowls that are great to get for traveling and weekend for the kids . I haven't been to salad and go since they changed their chicken because I wasn't having great luck with the quality of the salads so I took some time off. Went back today and got the Cobb Salad with no blue cheese add chicken. The chicken was sooooo hard and dry! It also seemed like there wasn't much on the salad. Not sure how much is supposed to be on it. I picked off all the chicken and went to cut up the avocado and that was harder than the chicken! Their service is horrible!! We are on a bike ride, and we stopped for some water, and he told us no!! In the state of Arizona it is illegal to tell any customer no they cannot have water. I am extremely disappointed in the service received at this Location. read more

First... the service was great. The young lady was cheerful, knowledgeable and courteous. Second... the ambiance, it's a drive through. So other than the building being in great shape, there was none. Third... the food. I had the COBB SALAD. I'm no avocado aficionado but mine was mostly brown and looked unappetizing so I discarded it. The salad dressing was to be Blue Cheese. It seemed like one part Blue Cheese and four parts water. I had three cherry tomatoes in my salad. The first one was mush, I didn't eat the others. The salad it self was OK, except for the one brown piece of lettuce I found and removed. For $7 it was OK. I've frequented Salad Word and found their product much better. Now keep in mind that you pay much more and the add-ons are not as plentiful but you're not digging around looking for things you do not want to eat. Give them a try, perhaps you're not as particular as I am. Then give Salad World a try. See what you think. read more

I always go here for lunch and it is by far the most consistently good, fresh and fast salad and go I've ever been to.

We wanted something light and quick for lunch. This salad and go is pretty new and I put my order in online. It was a quick and seamless pickup at the window. We got a Greek salad with chicken and shrimp added, kids protein box with shrimp, cucumber and cherry tomatoes. For drinks we got a prickly pear Arnold Palmer with mango green tea and a regular Arnold partner with black tea and lemonade. The food was fresh and plenty of it. The drinks were perfect and refreshing! It's been a while since I've been here and I don't know why. The food is fresh, tastes amazing and the prices are so cheap!! Love this location - consistent and friendly service. I was so excited when I found out one was being built right by my house. I love that I can grab something to go and not feel guilty about it later. I absolutely love the cucumber mint lemonade, not overly sweet, just right. I've done a couple pick up orders at this location and they don't disappoint. Pretty much consistent with the other 3 locations that I visit. Both times it is ready when I ask for it to be ready. The one time I didn't order ahead, the drive through is pretty fast. They are never really "sold out" of anything and the prices here can't be beat. The size of their breakfast burritos are ideal for just one person, and the price is about half the cost of any of the Berto's restaurants (maybe even a third of the cost). These guys open pretty early, too. If you haven't already, you probably should try the Mango Ginger cooler, too. Idc how cold it gets, I always have to get one anyway. Yum. read more

I wish this didn't happen, but this is the second time they try to take my change without asking. I don't understand why? He handed me a folded receipt with $.29. The change was $8.29. I went to this location for the first and last time. I thought it was terrible... I should have went right down the road to Chick-fil-A. They have a much better salad. At least they got my order right , cobb salad with no avocado and no protein....instead of taking a little off (because of the no protein) I asked to get an extra blue cheese dressing and they charged me more. I love this place soooo much!! You can get a huge salad full of fresh ingredients for like $6. All drinks are $1 and you can get wraps as well. My personal favorite is the Thai salad and I like to add jalapeños to it to make it spicier. I only wish they would have a berry or apple salad (I love salads with fruit in them) or even one with dried cranberries or candied pecans to have a sweet option to offset all the savory options. Then I would probably eat here daily. Other than that, I love that you can customize the salads however you want and that it's just a great value for the quality of the food and the size of the portions. They also need to open a location in Prescott because I have turned my mom into a fan and she wishes she had one close to her! read more

If you want to be treated like crap when you do not know the process, then please come here. An employee literally slammed the window on my dad when he didn't know how the online ordering worked. My dad asked for a different dressing and the tall, skinny white guy with earrings and glasses(manager refused to give me his name) told him " you get what you ordered" and slammed the window. The manager said, "I do not usually work this location," as an excuse for not repremanding the employee. If you can't treat people right, then you should be fired from customer service and try a profession where you do not need to associate with people. So this is my third time at this particular location, and by far this has been the worst experience, Im always one to give second and third chances, however it seems each time its been getting worse and worse. Today I went and ordered, not only would they not get the order right but even after they repeated the order to verify it, they mentioned a wrong ingredient which after I corrected them they very sarcastically said yeah its the same thing. Wow, who would have thought! The Wife told me she wanted salad and to turn into the drive thru at a fast food place. I looked at her with a wary eye and she told me she read about this on-line and I told her no way was fast food salad fresh or good. We ordered a BBQ chicken salad for her and a Greek salad with chicken wrap for me. We each added a bowl of chicken-sausage gumbo, the seasonal soup to the order. Got home and opened it all up after smelling the delicious flavor of the gumbo all the way home. Let me tell you, was I ever surprised! The salad was huge, enough for two people and the Wife said it was very fresh and tasted wonderful. My wrap was a two handed monster that clearly had as much salad and chicken as the salad had and man was it good (and filling). The star was the gumbo; flavor and aroma were superb and I finished mine without taking a bite of anything else until I was done. I stand corrected, this food was FRESH, but very well, and tasted great. My only problem if Texas does not have one yet, but they are building one in Dallas right now. So on my break, I decided to order an online order for pick up. I did this under the impression that it would be quick and easy. I was wrong. When I ordered, it said it would be ready by 1:15.
