I don't know how difficult it is to READ the order, but they consistently sdd or omit items for at least 2 out of 4 of the sandwiches we order. I can't quite get to the window because staff has 2 cars waiting just forward of the window. I wait 10 minutes and there is no movement. I decided to back out of the drive-thru and go in. She told everybody that walked into the door during lunch rush that they had "a thousand dollar catering order and they have to wait to order because of the catering order. I've been to this location before and I've never had a bad experience. The place does get busy on the weekdays during lunchtime but that's expected when you have big businesses and production nearby. I usually order the Roast beef but today I went with the Mediterranean salad. Nestled on a bed of iceberg lettuce and spinach is diced chicken, artichoke hearts, peppers, red onion, feta cheese and hummus. I topped it off with the balsamic vinaigrette. You can always add or ask for whatever toppings you may or may not like. The place is always clean, it's fast and the food is really fresh. Overall a great, quick lunch spot to hit up. read more

We always use the drive through and they are super quick and efficient. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious. The bread is so good. Just the right amount of crisp to the crust and moistness inside. The meats and cheeses and topping are clearly fresh daily and they don't drown the sandwich with sauces, oils, mustard or whatever. They do a great job of getting the right balance. The portions are generous but not overwhelming. When ever we have a hankering for sandwiches we look for potbelly's and they don't disappoint. "The Wreck" is a personal favorite. read more

So whenever we're in Michigan we seem to stop here, maybe because we miss it and Potbelly's is nowhere near us in VA. What can I say besides that their chili and sandwiches are awesome and fresh? Well their customer service matches the quality of their food. I'm impressed. Every time we stop by we're greeted with happy, smiling faces. I enjoy Potbelly sammies. When this location opened, I was very excited. Potbelly is usually the same anywhere you go. This location is no different. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I've been to this Warren location a few times now, especially during lunch. The lunchtime rush is serious business around this area. The staff handles it efficiently. I always get my food quickly. So the last time I visited, I went with the pizza sandwich. The pizza sandwich consists of pepperoni, meatball, capicola, marinara sauce, melted provolone cheese, mushrooms toasted and then topped with Italian seasoning on multigrain bread. I always add the hot peppers. Their hot peppers are off the chain...or boss...or epic...as the kids might say these days. You can't go wrong. I also ALWAYS get a shake. Seriously I implore you to find a better shake. I used to get their apple-banana flavor (never thought apple and banana would go together so deliciously) but they don't have it on the menu any more. So, I go for the strawberry-banana mash up. This last visit, I tried their Oreo banana split flavor. This was by far my favorite flavor of shake at Potbelly thus far. My taste buds were tricked into thinking I was eating a banana split...not drinking a shake. I'd highly recommend it. AND they always put those little sugar cookies on the straw...FOR FREE. Jimmy John's can have their free smells. Wendy's can have their free smiles (fun fact: Wendy's had free smiles on their menu for a long time...not any more tho). Really disappointed. Potbelly was my favorite when I worked in Troy near one. I still have jars of their peppers because I love them so much. So today we order from the Mound location online and pick up. I ordered a big grilled chicken cheddar and thought I would have half for later. Asked for tomato, mayo, onion and extra hot peppers. I started eating the first half and realized how empty it was. I took a pic of the second half of my sandwich - this is all it was. The sandwich was very flat and skinny with nary a topping peeping out. Dry bread all around. Keep in mind that I paid extra for a "big" and in this case that just meant more empty bread. Not even a swipe of mayo across the desert of bread I had, only in the very middle. A couple little pieces of tomato and where were the extra peppers? This was my first time checking out Potbelly and I was not wowed but I wasn't disappointed either. The sandwich shop is decorated very cute and there's plenty of seating. I came in for an Oreo shake but I also ordered cheddar broccoli soup on a whim. The Oreo shake was delicious but unfortunately they were out of cookie straws (whaaaattttt?). I WANTED the shake specifically for the famous cookie straw. Bummer. The cheddar broccoli soup was okay! Nothing spectacular but it didn't miss the mark either. The customer service was mediocre at best. The young man that took my order was enthusiastic and welcoming but the other employees seemed dull and irritated. My shake was immediately made but I had to stand around and wait several minutes for one of the employees to cup my soup. I'm thinking he must've forgotten that I ordered it. I'll probably give them another shot & try a sandwich... if not a sandwich, I'll definitely be back for another shake. read more

Stopped by Potbelly for a work lunch. Good place to get salad/soup, soup/sandwich, sandwich/salad combinations. Queue went fast and I quickly received my Farmer's salad and chicken noodle soup. It was quick and good. Sat down and ate, we had a lot of time to get back to the office afterwards. Decent lunch location, and a good one to put into rotation when we move closer. Only potbelly location in the state I've been to and walked out disappointed. It used to be really good when it first opened but it's continually gotten worse over time. Now that they know they have an influx of people coming during lunch time from local businesses, they don't even bother putting ANYWHERE near a fulfilling amount of ingredients. Example from an hour ago: I order a big wreck and there wasn't enough ingredients to satisfy a small child in a famine inflicted region of Africa. There was one slice of turkey on it. One. I paid extra for cucumbers (which, wth?) and got two cucumber slices and I swear they put maybe a tablespoon of lettuce on the whole thing. Oh and by the way, the potbelly vinaigrette is officially oily flavored water now; its flavorless viscosity drips right off the sandwich once you put it on and pick it up to eat. This is a management problem and they're doing an awful job. Potbelly is a good sandwich chain with good food, but this place is a disgrace. Horrible service today. I ordered 2 sandwiches online about 20 minutes out. Still waited another 15 minutes when I got there. Both sandwiches were messed up when they could see the order right in front of them versus someone yelling their order. I got double meat on only one side and barely any on the other side and the other sandwich did not have any meat either. Every single delivery order is late and every single time there is something missing and something wrong. Even when we pick up at their location there is something wrong with the order and salad dressing is always missing. Yesterday, the order was 45 minutes late (so an hour and 45 minutes after originally ordered) and we were missing part of the order. We called for a credit and there is still no credit on the card the day after. We honestly don't understand how this location is still in business. It is very clear they don't care about giving people what they paid for and it has been confirmed by even their employees that this location is a mess. Not only good for sandwiches. Getting ready for summer and watching my carbs so I got the Mediterranean salad. It was really good! I think next time I'm going to splurge and add the avocado. This place also has an awesome Atmosphere. The employees are friendly. They were even singing a little bit.
